Chapter 1 - The Omniversal Simulation.

Hitomi is the younger brother of Tatsumaki, aka the terrible tornado, and Fubki, aka the sister who feels useless.

You see Hitomi git transmigrated into the world of One Punch Man as the younger and pampered siblings of Tatsumaki and Fubuki but there was only one problem with that, he had no psychic powers like his sister's which is why they often tease him and are also overprotective.

Hitomi was like Tatsumaki. They had their mother's genes, green hair, and eyes, and also a certain height. Currently, Hitomi was at Tatsumaki's height, which was his limit.

"Ugh, sixteen years in this world, and I still do not have gifts or abilities..." Hitomi said as he continued playing a game on his phone. He had adopted Tatsumaki's personality a bit and a small bit of Fubuki's... but mostly Tatsumaki.

As he was about to play again after he failed the level, a message appeared on his phone.

[Ding?!. You have received the Omniversal Simulation system.]

[You have three worlds you can choose from to simulate..]

[You will be given five talents of which you can choose three instead of the default two.]

Hitomi blinked at his phone, unsure if it was a prank or one of Fubuki's weird new "psychic enhancement" apps again. The glowing message hovered above his screen, flickering faintly with energy that felt real—something his sisters would recognise instantly.

"…Omniversal Simulation System? What kind of mobile game starts like that?" he muttered, frowning as he tapped the screen.

The interface expanded into a holographic menu right before his eyes. A pulse of light rippled through the room, and for a moment, Hitomi swore he heard the faint echo of a heartbeat that wasn't his own.

> [Welcome, Host Hitomi Tatsumaki.]

[Initialising the Omniversal Simulation System]

[Please select your starting simulation world.]

Three glowing panels appeared, each displaying a different setting:

1. High School DxD.

2. Naruto.

3. Solo Levelling.

Hitomi's jaw dropped. "You've got to be kidding me. These are all anime worlds!?"

He glanced toward the hallway—Tatsumaki's psychic presence was faintly pulsing in her room nearby, like a green storm cloud brewing. The last thing he wanted was her barging in and seeing him talking to a floating screen like a lunatic.

"…Okay, let's see what this does before Tornado of Terror decides to interrogate me."

He tapped Solo Levelling—because why not? At least that world had a cool system theme going for it.

Immediately, another prompt appeared:

> [Generating Talent Pool…]

[Host will receive five random talents. Pick three to keep.]

The list unfolded before him in glowing text:

[Note: Talents are divided into five colours, grey being low, white being common, red being uncommon, blue being epic, purple being rare, pink being legendary, and gold being mythic.]

Hitomi's heart skipped a beat as the talents began to appear one by one, shimmering in the air like holographic cards. Each card pulsed with faint energy that seemed to hum in sync with his heartbeat.

[Talent #1: Adaptable Mind — Blue (Epic)]

You learn and master new skills at an accelerated rate. Limits of understanding are 300% higher than average.

[Talent #2: Hidden Potential — Red (Uncommon)]

The deeper your despair, the greater your growth. Breaking points awaken latent abilities.

[Talent #3: ??? — Pink (Legendary)]

Description: Unknown. Requires selection to unlock.

[Talent #4: Energy Affinity — Purple (Rare)]

Your body naturally harmonises with different forms of energy — mana, aura, ki, and psychic power.

[Talent #5: Nekomata — Gold (Mythic)]: Gain the abilities of the magnificent felines. (9 extra lives and also cat features.]

Hitomi's mouth hung open.

"Wait—wait—wait. Did I just roll a mythic talent on my first try!?"

He rubbed his eyes, half expecting the screen to vanish, but the glowing cards hovered stubbornly before him, each radiating its own distinct aura. The Nekomata card, in particular, shimmered with liquid gold, a faint outline of nine feline tails swirling behind it.

"Okay, this is… either the best dream ever, or I'm about to get abducted by psychic cats."

He sat cross-legged on his bed, staring at the floating menu. "Alright, think, Hitomi. I get to choose three. Obviously, Nekomata is a no-brainer—ninelifes? That's basically plot armour."

He tapped it.

[Talent Selected: Nekomata — Gold (Mythic)]

[Nine Lives acquired. Enhanced senses, agility, and reflexes unlocked.]

A faint warmth surged through his body, and he instinctively twitched his ears—only to feel them move.

His eyes widened.

"...Wait. No way."

He sprinted to the mirror and—

Two soft, triangular cat ears now sat atop his green hair, twitching in response to sound. Behind him, a sleek green tail flicked back and forth like it had always been there.

"Oh god. Tatsumaki's gonna kill me."

He looked half-horror, half-fascinated. He tried to give them away—nothing. The tail swayed smugly.

"Alright, fine. You win. I'm a catboy now."

The system chimed again.

[Two remaining talent slots. Please choose wisely.]

"Okay, so I've got one mythic... 'Adaptable Mind' sounds broken, and 'Energy Affinity' could maybe give me psychic powers like my sisters…" he muttered, thinking.

"Yeah. That settles it."

He picked both.

[Talent Selected: Adaptable Mind — Blue (Epic)]

[Talent Selected: Energy Affinity — Purple (Rare)]

[Configuration Complete.]

A rush of information and energy slammed into him. His head buzzed with a thousand threads of potential, as though the entire world had become a puzzle he could understand if he just thought hard enough. He felt something—an unfamiliar vibration around him, faint and invisible—like static in the air.

It wasn't much, but… it felt similar to the psychic waves Tatsumaki always released.

He blinked in disbelief.

"No way… am I actually sensing… esper energy?"

[Note:After the simulation is over, you can keep two talents permanently.]

[Simulation World: Solo Levelling Initialising…]

[The world will be slowed down, and you can choose to observe the simulation using Box world Spectating, which will simulate the events that would happen to you if you were in the world.]

Hitomi's room began to distort. The light from the holographic screen grew brighter until it swallowed everything in a blinding flash. His heartbeat thundered in his ears, then—

Silence.

He opened his eyes and found himself floating in a void of endless darkness, lines of code, and faint golden threads spiralling around him like living constellations.

[Simulation commencing...]

[World: Solo Levelling]

[Mode: Box World Spectating]

[Host: Hitomi Tatsumaki — Simulation Avatar created.]

A shimmering cube appeared in front of him, inside of which a holographic version of himself materialised—slightly taller, clad in a black hunter uniform. The simulated version looked calm, confident, and somehow stronger.

"Whoa… that's me?" Hitomi muttered. "I look like I could solo a dungeon."

[Simulation begins.]

The cube shifted, and suddenly Hitomi was watching his alternate self wake up in a grimy apartment in Seoul. He recognised the city immediately. Everything looked gritty, real—the same atmosphere he remembered from the anime.

Inside the cube, his simulated self checked a holographic blue window:

[Name: Hitomi Tatsumaki (Simulation Avatar)]

[Occupation: E-Rank Hunter]

[Affiliation: None]

[Talents: Nekomata (Mythic), Adaptable Mind (Epic), Energy Affinity (Rare)]

And below that—

[Special Trait: "Omniversal Descent" — You do not belong to this world. The system recognises you as an anomaly. Rewards and penalties will vary drastically.]

"Uh oh," Hitomi said nervously. "That doesn't sound reassuring."

The simulation continued—

His avatar moved through a crowd of hunters entering a low-level dungeon. Just like Jinwoo's first raid, it was supposed to be easy. But the moment his simulated self crossed the threshold, Hitomi noticed something strange—his aura began to twist.

Psychic energy.

Faint and green, like Tatsumaki's—but chaotic, unstable. It flared around his avatar's hand when he tried to pick up a fallen weapon, lifting the blade telekinetically for a moment before collapsing from exhaustion.

Hitomi's jaw dropped. "No way! It worked! I actually have esper energy!"

Hitomi quickly suppressed his excitement and continued watching the Avatar move.

After failing to pick up the weapon, the simulation Hitomi watched began to take a darker tone.

His avatar stumbled, clutching his head as the unstable psychic energy spiralled out of control, shaking the air around him. The dungeon trembled faintly, dust falling from the cracked stone ceiling.

[Warning: Psychic Feedback detected.]

[Stabilising Talent: Energy Affinity.]

The text blinked red and then slowly turned green again as his simulation-self steadied. The faint green aura dissipated like mist.

"Okay… note to self," Hitomi muttered. "Don't overdo it, or I'll explode."

Inside the cube, the simulation progressed—Hitomi's avatar teamed up with a few other low-rank hunters. They delved deeper into the dungeon, fighting weak goblins and collecting crystals. But something was off.

The deeper they went, the more the monsters… reacted to him. They weren't afraid. They were watching.

[System Alert: "Anomaly detected."]

[The world recognises the Simulation Avatar as an intruder]

[Difficulty is being adjusted accordingly]

A pulse of dark mana rippled through the dungeon. Goblins' eyes turned blood-red. The ceiling cracked open, and a massive shadow burst forth—an Elite Dungeon Boss, far above E-rank difficulty.

"Oh no no no no—this isn't supposed to happen!" Hitomi said, gripping the edges of the cube as if he could somehow help his simulated self.

Inside, his avatar's eyes widened. The beast roared—an ogre-like creature three times taller than a human, its club glowing crimson with mana. It swung.

BOOM!

The shockwave sent the avatar flying against a wall. His HP bar plummeted to a sliver.

Hitomi felt his heart drop. "He's gonna die already!?"

Then the system pulsed again—

[Activating Talent: Hidden Function — Nekomata's First Life Lost.]

[Rebirth in Progress]

A blinding golden light engulfed the avatar. His body reformed instantly, breathing ragged but alive. His eyes glowed faintly green and gold.

"...He resurrected," Hitomi breathed. "Wait, that means—"

The Nekomata talent's hidden strength activated. His reflexes sharpened, his movements fluid like a cat's as he leapt out of the way of the next attack. The avatar picked up the fallen sword again—this time, his hand shimmered with faint psychic energy that wrapped around the blade.

The weapon floated.

The avatar grinned.

"Let's dance."

With newfound control, the simulation Hitomi dashed forward, slashing the ogre's knee, dodging, rolling, and flipping onto the creature's arm. The moves were fluid, natural, and perfectly timed—the combined blessing of Adaptable Mind and Energy Affinity.

Each moment, he grew stronger, faster, and more in tune with his power.

Within minutes, the ogre fell, collapsing with a deafening roar. The system flared:

[Dungeon Cleared]

[Level Up x3]

[Skill Created: Telekinetic Blade Manipulation (Rank: C)]

Hitomi outside the cube was speechless. "He… he made a psychic skill… inside a system world?"

But before he could process that, another message appeared.

[Simulation ending.]

[Summary of Results:]

Dungeon Cleared (Overlimit Difficulty)

Unique Skill Created: Telekinetic Blade Manipulation

Trait "Omniversal Descent" recognised by System Fragments.

Potential Compatibility: Dimensional Travel (Locked)]

[Select three rewards to keep permanently.]

Hitomi's eyes widened. "Wait—I actually get rewards!?"

He scrolled through the glowing list.

Retain Talent: Nekomata (Mythic)

Retain Talent: Energy Affinity (Rare)

Retain Talent: Adaptive mind

Gain Stat Increase: +10 to Agility, +10 to Willpower

He didn't even hesitate. "Obviously keeping Nekomata, Adaptable Mind and Energy Affinity. I'm not giving up my cat superpowers or my psychic training wheels or my super learning."

[Selection confirmed.]

[Three talents permanently retained]

The cube cracked apart like glass. The void shattered, and Hitomi's body lurched back into his room.

Thud!

He landed face-first on his bed, tail twitching aggressively.

"…Ow. Did I just get isekai-whiplash?" he groaned, rolling over.

The phone on his nightstand pulsed softly.

[Simulation Complete. Cooldown: 24 hours ]

He puffed his cheeks and kept the phone beside him. "Ugh, I have to wait now."

His hands and legs were spread out wide on the bed with a very Tatsumaki-looking bored expression on his face, thinking about Tatsumaki he remembered she was home, well he might as well visit his sweet big sister.
