Chapter 1 - Cube

In the Southern Continent of the Green Phoenix World,

On the northern side, where a Divine Land once stood, there were now only ruins.

The powerful Profound Yin Divine Land—once a place where countless cultivators dreamed of entering—had been completely destroyed. Corpses lay scattered everywhere. The most eye-catching sight was the severed heads displayed along the sect's paths, placed step by step. The sect leader, elders, ancestors, and grand elders—all of them had died here in a humiliating manner.

It was a place where one might think ghosts would wander, thus no one dared to come close, fearing they might invite the same calamity that had befallen this Divine Land.

However, in the servant disciples' section, a body that seemed dead suddenly moved.

A young man slowly opened his eyes.

"Hm… what is this?"

The young man, Alan, looked around in confusion.

"Where am I?" he muttered.

Suddenly, a realization struck him.

"The f*ck…?"

He looked down at himself, noticing the strange clothing he was wearing.

"What is this… a manhua or something?" he mumbled.

Looking around, he saw countless dead bodies. Some were missing limbs, others had massive holes in their chests, yet his own body seemed mostly intact—aside from a large hole on his clothes too.

"It seems this time I've transmigrated into this world through a dead body" Alan muttered.

This wasn't his first time. He had done it several times before, and each time, he found it somewhat amusing—since every reincarnation was different.

"Now, the memories should come any time," Alan mumbled.

The next second, his mind was flooded with unfamiliar memories. He closed his eyes and began to digest them, trying to understand his current situation.

"Hm… isn't this setting similar to Ten Invincibles, the book I read before?" Alan muttered.

Ten Invincibles was a novel where there were exactly ten supreme treasures, each powerful enough to make anyone who obtained one nearly invincible.

"And since this is the Green Phoenix World, the invincible treasure here should be the Book of Heaven—an artifact that can reveal perfect information about any object. It's also the very thing the protagonist is born with and uses to rise to the supreme level."

"By the way… what would be my cheat?" Alan mumbled as he closed his eyes and sensed his body.

Before coming here, he had already gone through the system's cheat gacha selection, and it was assigned to him. However, he didn't know what it was at the time. His system was also currently offline. It only had two functions: first, to help him reincarnate into different worlds; second, to grant him a starting cheat. The next time he would see the system would be when he died or moved on to another world.

Alan focused his senses inward and soon discovered something. He opened his eyes in delight.

"Isn't this… one of the Ten Supreme Objects—the Cube of Shattered Origin?!"

Alan was thrilled. This cube ranked third in terms of power among the Ten Invincible Treasures, and now he possessed it.

"Heh, I was wondering when I would find a supreme artifact myself, but thankfully the system already gave me one," Alan said with a smile.

"Now, in this life, my name is Ye Yuan… hmm, truly a cultivation world."

"Now that I'm already here, it's time to reap some benefits," Alan mumbled.

According to the story, after a thousand years, this sect would become a ghostly place where spirits and evil beings roamed, and many hidden treasures would be revealed.

"The protagonist will come here in the future and obtain the very object that caused this Divine Land to be destroyed under the siege of the other four Divine Lands," Alan muttered.

For the past ten thousand years, the Northern Lands had five Divine Lands. However, during a recent exploration of a Secret Realm, one Divine Land obtained a Celestial-rank cultivation technique, while the others only possessed Divine-rank techniques.

This immediately broke the balance. A Divine Land with a Celestial technique would eventually surpass the others, so the remaining four joined forces to destroy it and seize the technique. Even so, they ultimately failed to obtain it.

In the future, when the protagonist reaches the peak of his cultivation, he becomes unable to advance further using his Ancient-rank technique—which is one rank above Divine but still inferior to Celestial. To break through his bottleneck, he comes here, acquires the Celestial technique, and reaches a higher level.

"Now if I cultivate it with it from starting, my low cultivation Talent will be of no issue" Alan mumbled after all he is reborn through body of an Servant disciple which easily means he don't have much talent so he will need now powerful technique and treasures to aid him in cultivation.

Following his memories, Alan walked toward the Sect Leader's Hall. After entering, he began searching for anything unusual. Soon, he found what he was looking for—an ancient statue with its head broken.

Clearly, others had searched this place before, wreaking havoc.

"Well, it's really tricky to open the secret realm. Perhaps only me and protagonist, with the Book of Heaven, know how to open it—aside from the Divine Land itself," Alan muttered.

He broke the statue and began examining the fragments, looking for specific pieces marked with a sun symbol.

Soon, he found the piece he needed.

After that, he moved to different areas to gather the remaining keys. From the Medicine Hall, he found the Moon Key. From the Formation Hall, he obtained the Star Key. Finally, from the Grand Hall, he acquired the Phoenix Key.

"Now… to the Ancestral Land," Alan murmured.

With all the keys in hand, he headed to the back of the sect, where the Ancestral Land was located. This place, where the old sect masters once rested, was also in ruins. Broken statues and collapsed structures were scattered everywhere.

Ignoring everything else, Alan walked straight to a small fountain at the center.

He placed the four keys into slots on its sides. As the final key was inserted, the stagnant water turned green and began to swirl. Soon, a gate made of water formed before him.

Without hesitation, Alan stepped into it.

The moment he entered, the gate closed behind him, and everything returned to silence.
