When Howard Ren, a 22-year-old student from Grand York, was transported to the Continent of Altea in the dark ages. His mission was to save the Kingdom of Thessalonis from total collapse. But things went wrong from the get-go when Crown Prince Robert Douglas murdered the king. Then, he made Ren the scapegoat for his crime while taking credit for capturing the king's killer.

Now on the run, Ren has to survive by allying with different factions to wrestle the kingdom from the Crown Prince.
