Synopsis
Power built the Murad empire. Blood secured it. Betrayal nearly destroyed it. Across India, New York, and beyond, Sohan Kadeon Murad reigns as one of the most feared men in the underworld. CEO of eight global empires and supreme leader of the Obsidian Triad, he rules with calculated brutality. His enemies vanish. His name commands silence. Yet even the darkest king had a weakness. His wife, Riyana. And their only daughter— Lilith Mahira Baneva. Born as the final heir. The true owner of everything. When greed consumes Sohan’s own cousins, a carefully orchestrated attack shatters the Murad family. A truck collision meant to eliminate Riyana and six-year-old Lilith leaves Riyana missing and presumed dead. Lilith survives—but her mind does not. Sohan unleashes hell on those responsible, wiping out bloodlines in a storm of vengeance before being imprisoned for ten years. His final command to his eight sons: No war among yourselves. Protect your sister. Keep her away from the darkness. While the brothers rise into powerful men—ruthless, disciplined, and loyal—Lilith grows up in a mental asylum, her brilliant mind trapped in the innocence of a child. Unknown to her brothers, someone close ensures she never heals, poisoning her recovery with damaging medication to keep her fragile… and unfit to rule. At sixteen, she returns home. Beautiful. Quiet. Mischievous. Broken. The empire legally belongs to her—but the world sees only a shattered girl holding pieces of herself together. Then comes the man powerful enough to rival the Murads. The feared leader of The Dominion Apex—half Russian, half American, Indian by blood. A king among kings. Cold. Strategic. Merciless. During a high-stakes alliance meeting, a single moment changes everything. He sees Lilith Mahira Baneva. And instead of weakness, he sees something no one else dares to look for. He takes her. What begins as possession slowly shifts into something far more dangerous—an obsession neither of them expected. In her silence, he finds calm. In his darkness, she finds protection. But beneath the fragile surface of the shattered heiress lies something waiting. Healing. Memory. Power. Will Lilith Mahira Baneva rise to reclaim the empire written in her blood? Will the ruthless king fall for the girl the world underestimated? Or will secrets, betrayal, and war tear apart what remains of the Murad legacy? In a world ruled by monsters, the most dangerous throne belongs to a broken queen.

Chapter 1 - The Gem of the Obsidian Triad.

In the City of New York, a place filled with Mafias and Mob Bosses, each had their own group. They did illegal activities; blood flowed like water almost every day. All of these mafia and Mob bosses, they all bowed to one man. He is the Mafia King. He ruled them all—not only New York but the whole mafias in the world. They bowed down. Nobody dared to look him in the eyes. He was extremely heartless with the coldest heart. His name is Sohan Kadeon Murad, the biggest Mob boss and the Mafia King. He is the leader of the Obsidian Triad. Many years he ruled and earned with an iron fist. His world was wrapped around darkness, but he had a light in his life: his wife Riyana. She is half Indian, half Bangladeshi. She owns a bakery and restaurant. They both met when she was studying in New York University. She was on scholarship. He fell deeply in love with her and married her. At first it was a forced marriage, but with time, and how Sohan treated her like she was a Queen, she fell in love with him.

They had nine kids—eight boys and one girl. The boys were Karim, Zafraan, Reyan, Nihal, Rafsan, Aarav, Farhan, Ariz, and the last born, the girl, her name is Lilith Mahira Baneva. She is the Gem of the Obsidian Triad. He hides her from everyone, especially his enemies.

One day, when Lilith was six, she and her mother went to the mall for shopping. On their way back, a big truck hit their car, leaving both Riyana and Lilith in a terrible accident. It was planned by Sohan's cousins, who wanted his wealth, and also by a woman who wanted to marry him. His cousins were Hossain, Zarrin, and Mohan. When Sohan found out about the accident, Riyana's body went missing while Lilith was in terrible condition. It made Sohan extremely furious. He got so mad that one by one he killed them all, even their families. He was arrested in India, but they took him to New York, where the judge sentenced him to 11 years in prison.

He checked his daughter's condition.

"I am sorry to break this news, but the accident has damaged her brain. She is now stuck as a child. Even if she grows up, her mind will be in a childlike state. I am sorry, sir. We tried our hardest," the doctor said.

As Sohan became heartbroken, he gathered his sons and gave them each a warning.

"Never involve your sister in mafia businesses. Take care of her. If any of you mess up or lose her, I will punish you boys. Understood?" Sohan said.

"Yes, Papa," they replied.

"I want the best from you. Take care of the family. You're the head of the family now," Karim said.

Sohan kissed Lilith's forehead and marked her arm. It was a diamond symbol on her neck and arm, with the letters OT. People knew what it meant; by just looking at it, they would get scared. Sohan was taking away Lilith. She woke up and began crying for her mother.

"I want Mumma!" she said.

"Don't worry, baby. Mumma went on a holiday," Ariz said.

The doctor suggested she stay in a mental asylum for now to help her and try to heal her. Lilith was sent to Bellevue Hospital.

Ten years later, Karim and his brothers became extremely successful. He sat in his father's seat. Troy, Ishaan, and Rezaul trained him and the boys. They lived in Sohan's huge $10 billion mansion in New York.

"Lilly's birthday is next week," Aarav said.

"Yeah, I'm thinking she should come home," Karim said as the maid served his food.

"Yeah," Farhan said.

"She must be all grown up now. She's turning 16," Troy said. He was 29, Ishaan was 27, and Rezaul was 30.

"I think she should stay there," a lady said as she took her seat. It was their father's step-sister, Tamanna. She is a brat who desires power, money, and Lilith's position as the Gem of the Obsidian Triad.

"You don't have anything to say, so shut up," Ishaan said. She rolled her eyes. She had four kids: Vanya, Trinetra, Vamika, and Arhant. Tamanna forced her way into the mansion after Sohan was gone. She was making a big plan to snatch the businesses and also the position in the Obsidian Triad.

The boys left for work. Zafraan ran his mother's bakery and restaurant; it became famous, and he was the best chef. Reyan ran his father's oil companies with an iron grip. He also handled shipments of weapons. Nihal was a party boy but ran the hotels' branches all over the city and outside. Rafsan owned casinos; people also took loans from them. Aarav was a lecturer and owned a university. Farhan was a hacker; he hacked different devices and also worked in selling weapons. Ariz was into real estate and worked with Reyan in the oil empire. They were all trained by Troy, Ishaan, and Rezaul.

Meanwhile, in Bellevue Hospital, a girl was crying and running away from the nurses.

"GET BACK HERE, YOU BRAT!" one of the nurses said.

She kept running, trying to escape, holding her teddy bear tightly.

"Gotta ya!" the guard said, laughing at her.

"NO!" the girl said in her small voice. She had scars on her body.

The nurse walked up to her and gave her a heavy slap. She cried. They injected her.

"Let her go now," a deep voice said.

They saw a man holding an iron rod. They laughed at him.

"I suggest you back off, boy," the nurse said.

He looked at the trembling tiny girl and smirked. As the guard launched at him, he hit his head with the iron hammer, making the man collapse. The little girl looked at him as he injured each of them, even the women who were beating her.

"Lilly!" a voice called.

"Yes?" the tiny girl replied. She was none other than Lilith Sohan Murad, the Gem of the Obsidian Triad. Light-skinned, brown hair, plum lips, siren eyes, tiny body.

Lilith ran to a woman. She was a doctor named Anika, an Indian, who had worked in the hospital for a while. She was 17 when Lilith was brought there and knew how badly they treated her.

"Now this is the height of it," Anika said. "I am going to burn this hospital down. I got all the patients out. Take her away."

The man said, making Anika stunned, but his words were calm. He patted Lilith's head.

"Hey little baby, don't be scared, hm? We are friends, remember?" he said, smiling. Lilith looked at him—they were friends. He was a drug addict dragged into the hospital, and he had seen how badly Lilith was treated: forced pills, beatings.

Anika agreed. He patted Lilith's head as Anika snuck her out of the hospital. The man, now wearing a suit, kissed her.

"You can call me Bhai, Lilly, hm?" he said.

"Main wada karta hoon ki main tumhare liye jald wapas aaunga aur tumhe khush karunga, meri baccha" (I promise I will come back for you soon and make you happy, my little baby), he said again. He gave Lilith a stick with fire burning on it.

"Come, baccha (child). Burn them all down," he said with an evil smirk.

Lilly looked at the fire, giggled, and threw it. The fire went into a straight line of fuel. She yawned, and he carried her in the car with Anika and set the hospital ablaze.

In the morning, while the family was eating, the news broke:

"Breaking news: The Bellevue Hospital unexpectedly caught fire last night. Nobody made it out alive. Everyone in the hospital was burned alive," the news reporter said.

The family watched. Karim and his brothers' hearts beat faster.

"Lilly…" Aarav said as they all took their phones to make calls. Farhan was on a call when he saw two people standing by the door.

"Who are you?" he said.

The other tiny girl was asleep, holding her teddy bear.

"May I come in?" the woman holding the sleeping girl asked. Troy and the boys all saw them.

"Is this the Murad Mansion?" she asked.

"Yes. Who are you?" Karim asked coldly.

"I am here to give you Lilly. I took her out of the hospital last night. She burned the hospital last night," she said.

"What!" Tamanna said angrily.

Karim carried Lilith from her back.

"What's your name?" Nihal asked.

"Anika. I am Indian. I take care of her, and also the nurses who are now dead always beat her and gave her punishments. She has a lot of scars. She gets scared of anyone touching her. I just wanted to give her back to her family where she is safe. Please take care of her," Anika said.

"Stay here," Karim said.

"Huh?"

"Yes, please, we insist," Troy said. She wanted to leave, but she looked at Lilith, and she nodded. Karim laid his sister down on the couch as Anika rubbed her hair.

Tamanna was angry. She smirked evilly.

Anika was still a student, and Lilith had been given overdose pills in the hospital. Anika didn't know what the drugs were—they said it would help her recovery.

They all waited for the tiny girl to wake up. She was finally home. Many years later, the Gem was back, but still in the same childlike mental state.
