"Infinite Darkness."

An Immortal stood at the end of the universe.

His name: Immortal Emperor Han Zhou Feng, the fifth Immortal Cultivator in the entire boundless universe.

His expression was stiff and bored.

"I don't want to create a new universe. Nothing excites me when I already know everything."

He said, looking at several universes hovering overhead.

For him, as an Immortal deity who had almost reached the end of cultivation, what could he not do?

Creation and destruction? Meaningless. All that mattered to him was premium content.

For billions of years, he had stayed alive, watching over mortals and upcoming Emperors, yet nothing excited him at all.

He had even considered marrying eight wives just to see if life could thrill him, but nothing truly did.

He knew what they would do next, after all.

"Such a shame!"

His voice echoed into the infinite darkness, unanswered.

Then, suddenly, he jumped into the river of time with a single step, searching for something that could excite him.

The river of time contained infinite content for him.

It was just like a television with endless stories.

Yet he knew everything. It was useless.

Then suddenly, he passed by a small world.

He could feel the karma of blood and providence lingering around it.

"Heaven-destined? In a world like this?"

He rushed down to the universe.

With a gentle swipe of his hand, time sped up, then he lightly tapped the atmosphere with a finger.

Suddenly, time resumed its normal flow.

A young vampire ran for his life, pursued by vampire hunters.

"What—" He widened his eyes in excitement. "I cannot see this child's providence. It's as if he doesn't even exist! He is being protected by a fragment of the heavenly Dao."

He kept watching the child and the hunters chasing him.

To confirm his observation, he glanced at the other vampire hunters. He could see everything: their lives, families, and hatred toward the vampires. He could even see the moment when they would cease to exist. Yet for the frail vampire, who was earnestly running for his life, he saw nothing.

Not his past. Not his future.

Since he could not see his future, his goal of finding the ultimate content had been solved.

"A gift from the heavens to me?"

A gentle smile spread across his young face, then slowly vanished as realization struck.

"But it would be too boring if he died in such a small place. Let me send him to the cultivation world, but before that… I should prepare something for him."

His smile turned into devious smirk. He then gently disappeared from the small world and returned to the end of the universe.

He pressed his nose in thought.

"What would happen if a vampire actually became a cultivator? Is that even possible?"

He questioned, but the empty void was his only listener.

"But why? Why does this child have the providence of blood, a fragment of the heavenly Dao inside him? If I could find that other fragment, I could create a system for him to grow efficiently as a cultivator, then I can watch as much premium content as I want."

With this thought, the emperor set a new goal. He hadn't had goals for billions of years apart from finding premium content.

Emperors had once excited him; gods and even demons thrilled him at times. But as eons passed, the universe became a repetition of processes.

The universe aged, but he did not.

He began creating new timelines and universes just to pass the time, yet he didn't enjoy it. Even his own creations followed the framework of existing universes.

It was like copy-and-paste, just with different flavors.

This was when the emperor realized: there was no such thing as an original story in the universe… not until now, at least.

"Phew!"

He stretched in excitement, then suddenly dove into one of the lower worlds.

Then another.

And another.

But he couldn't find it. He couldn't find the remaining fragment he sought.

Yet he didn't feel frustration. Instead, he was excited. He, a nearly omniscient being, could still search for something. This was truly a blessing in disguise.

With a blink of an eye, the immortal had already crossed seven thousand universes and timelines while looking for the fragment of the heavenly Dao.

Immortal Emperor Han stopped his search.

'This is such a waste of time.'

He raised two fingers of his left hand and activated his technique.

[Boundless Search]

His spiritual perception slowly permeated the entire universe.

He saw a modern world, a world of hunters, a world of a tower of cultivation, a world where only women existed, a world of beast-taming, and finally, a world of magic.

"Found it."

He opened his eyes… in disappointment.

"A dark mage with the fragment of the heavenly Dao? How infuriating."

With a single thought, a blue longsword appeared on his wrist.

Then suddenly…

Swish!!

He lazily swung at the pitch-black space before him.

Crank!!

Space cracked like glass, and a new reality appeared in front of him.

"Awesome!"

He couldn't wait to retrieve the fragment.

He suddenly dove into the cracked space at full speed.

After what could have been moments of time, that's if time even noticed him. He appeared in the magical world of arcana and stopped at the blue hazy sky, specifically the layer of the dark magicians.

The dark magicians felt it. The boundless might descending from the sky was enough to make some of them pass out from fear.

Some began accusing their leader.

"Reinhardt, what have you done?"

"What have you summoned this time?"

"Are you trying to kill us all?"

In truth, even their leader had no idea what was happening.

Swiftly, Immortal Emperor Han appeared in front of the dark mage.

"Hmmm."

He glanced at Reinhardt for a moment. For some reason, he could not see the mage's past or future either. The fragment of the heavenly Dao protected him.

'Should I kill him or not?'

He pondered before making a decision.

"You were unlucky. I didn't see you first, or I would have spared your life. Sorry, but you have to die now."

" Now that I think about it, even if I saw you first I would have still killed you if I had found the vampire, your actions would be too predictable."

'What's happening? Who is this monster? What is with his strange manner of dress? I don't understand what he's saying… but this is dangerous…'

Reinhardt thought, but before he could plead, his head was already gone.

He hadn't even realized he was dead.

"Ha! This never gets old, that's for sure."

The Immortal Emperor said, removing the fragment of the heavenly Dao from Reinhardt's lifeless body.

Reddish in color, thousands of petals no bigger than grains of rice.

"Hmmm… I don't even have to create a system. It's already a system on its own."

Suddenly, the Immortal Emperor teleported to the world where the young vampire was slowly dying.

With a snap of his fingers, the vampire awoke.

He tried to crawl away from the dark alley he was in, but a portal suddenly swallowed him whole.

Then, the Immortal Emperor released the Dao fragments, which flew into the young vampire's body.

The Immortal Emperor stretched his hands in excitement:

"Go! Go and make me some premium content!!"
