Chapter 1 - Teleportation and Absolute Defense

The morning light filtered through the soft curtains, its gentle warmth caressing the small figure on the bed and outlining his supple silhouette.

"Mmm..."

With a youthful groan, the small figure's eyelashes fluttered slightly as he slowly opened his eyes. His pair of pitch-black eyes were hazy, and his small face still held the confusion of someone who had just woken up.

He sat up slowly, rubbing his bleary eyes, and then surveyed the room that was both strange and familiar. His gaze swept over the simple furniture, the closed wardrobe, and another bed not far away.

As his consciousness gradually cleared, his misty eyes grew bright and spirited.

"So it wasn't a dream..." he whispered to himself.

Memories surged like a tide.

His name was Uchiha Mamoru, and this was his home.

Mamoru pulled back the soft, thin quilt and hopped lightly out of bed. His bare feet stepped onto the hardwood floor, feeling a slight chill.

His gaze turned to the other bed, where there was a small lump in the bedding that occasionally wriggled slightly.

Yawning while ruffling his messy black hair, Mamoru walked toward the bed and called out softly, "Hey, wake up."

As he spoke, the lump on the bed moved, but then quickly returned to stillness, as if the movement just now had been an illusion.

Mamoru curled his lip, long since accustomed to this reaction.

He jumped onto the bed and unceremoniously stepped on the lump, grinding his feet down a few times as he urged, "Did you hear me? Get up, Sasuke."

A pillow suddenly came flying at his face.

Mamoru nimbly raised his hand to block the flying pillow. At the same time, the 'lump' beneath his feet struggled violently. This caused him to lose his balance for a moment and he fell back onto the bed.

Mamoru glanced at Sasuke, who had wrapped himself even tighter, and spread his hands helplessly.

Then he climbed off the bed and walked toward the balcony, muttering, "It's been three months since that happened. I'm telling you, it's about time you pulled yourself together."

Swish!

The curtains were pulled open, and the sliding door to the balcony was pushed aside. A morning breeze blew in, the air filled with the fragrance of grass and soil, a scent that was refreshing.

This place was located on the edge of the village, with the Naka River nearby.

Mamoru took a deep breath of fresh air, his feet stepping onto the balcony. Facing the morning breeze, his soft bangs fluttered. He reached the edge of the balcony, his gaze involuntarily fixed on the distance.

In the distance, the massive side-by-side head carvings came into view. Four prominent giant head carvings were etched into the distant cliffside. No matter who came to this village, the first thing they saw was this Hokage Rock.

That's right, this was Konoha of the Naruto World, and he was fortunate(?) enough to be a member of the Uchiha Clan.

According to what he knew now, the Uchiha clan had been massacred three months ago. The culprit was his and Sasuke's biological brother, Itachi.

He had transmigrated on the night of the massacre, and his initial state upon waking had left him bewildered. Two cold corpses lied beside him, the sticky dark red on the floor was still spreading, and the air was filled with a suffocating smell of blood.

What made his heart race most was the hideous wound beneath the tear in his clothes—a faint chill seeped from there, all of which silently conveyed a cruel message... the fading of life.

That stab should have been fatal. But his awakening and taking over this body had miraculously brought him back to life.

Pressing his palm against his chest to feel the strong heartbeat, Mamoru breathed a long sigh of relief.

At that moment, he had been terrified. It was no easy feat for an ordinary person to remain calm when suddenly faced with such a horrific and bloody scene.

Once his emotions settled, just as he subconsciously thought he was dreaming, a team of fully equipped ninjas suddenly burst in and he was quickly transferred to Konoha Hospital.

Looking back now, there were too many abnormalities that night, everything seemed suspicious.

For Itachi to massacre the clan with such a huge commotion without causing a single ripple in Konoha...

Even if it were a secret assassination, it shouldn't have been so devoid of any clues.

Not to mention the Hokage, even the Anbu weren't pushovers.

The only explanation was not that they hadn't noticed, but that the higher-ups of Konoha had intended it, secretly ignoring the smooth progress of the assassination.

Unfortunately, before transmigrating, he had only roughly watched some of the battles of Naruto. Let alone understanding the deep-seated dark side of Konoha, he didn't even properly know the characters' names.

At this thought, he narrowed his eyes, turned his head, and looked toward the shrine not far away. His gaze followed the smooth path upward to where a towering crimson gate stood. It was like a boundary, behind which lay the secret meeting place of the Uchiha clan—the Naka Shrine.

The shrine appeared deep and quiet shrouded by trees, but he wondered just which big shot was enshrined within?

Mamoru had been to that shrine once. Now that no one looked after it, it was gradually showing signs of dilapidation.

On the surface, it was just an ordinary shrine, but there seemed to be a secret chamber underground. Mamoru hadn't gone to open it as he felt that until he became strong, it was better to avoid unnecessary trouble.

He snapped out of his thoughts and turned back into the room.

He lingered for a moment, glancing at Sasuke curled into a ball on the bed, and thought to himself, 'How much longer are you going to stay depressed?'

He closed the sliding balcony door and turned toward the bedroom, glancing at Sasuke's bedside as he passed. Then he pushed the door open, entered the stairwell, and slowly descended to the first floor. He strolled into the bathroom, turned on the faucet, and began his morning routine.

Staring at the face in the mirror that was identical to Sasuke's, Mamoru couldn't help but think narcissistically that every member of the Uchiha clan seemed to be gifted with extraordinary talent and looks to match.

He lifted his heels slightly, bringing his face close to the mirror, and raised his hand to cover his right eye, leaving only his left eye exposed.

Immediately, an astonishing sight appeared. The deep pupil in the mirror suddenly transformed into a pale blue eye filled with white mist.

If one looked closely, the sky could be seen reflected in the pale blue pupil, as if it contained the boundless firmament, deep and full of mystery.

This was the Six Eyes.

Besides the miracle of his rebirth and transmigration, this was another secret hidden deep in his heart.

As far as he knew, the Six Eyes was supposed to be a special talent possessed by a certain character in another anime series. As for why it had become a part of him... now, he seemed to have a slight clue.

Before coming to this world, he had received an abrupt message.

[Do you wish to have a new life?]

At the time, he thought it was just a common game advertisement and ignored it. But immediately after, another message was pushed.

[In this new life, what kind of ability do you wish to have?]

At that time, he had subconsciously complained in his heart, 'If I have a choice, then naturally it would be Teleportation and add an absolute defense, wouldn't that be even better?'

The moment he had that thought, darkness silently swallowed his consciousness.

When he woke up again, he was lying in that bloody place, the chill in his chest not yet dissipated.

And at that very moment, a certain power that had never appeared in this world quietly awakened within him.

From a certain perspective, the Six Eyes responded to his delusions before transmigrating. It gave him speed close to Teleportation and a defense that could be called 'absolute'.

Even more incredible was that this power was not only perfectly compatible with the Chakra system of this world, but all the techniques and abilities related to the Six Eyes were already deeply rooted in his flesh and cells, as natural as breathing.

In this world, the Six Eyes could be said to have even greater potential than in Jujutsu Kaisen—it wouldn't even be an exaggeration to say its potential was 'infinite'.

At this thought, Mamoru felt a wave of regret. If he had known he was transmigrating, he should have been a bit more greedy.

An OP system, infinite wealth... how great would it have been to get it all done at once?
