Chapter 1 - By day a student, By night a Wolf

Chapter One: When the Sun Goes Down

The first time I turned into a wolf, I was sixteen and bleeding on the cold tiles of my bathroom floor.

The mirror shattered before I did.

I remember staring at my reflection as my bones cracked and rearranged themselves, my scream swallowed by the walls of a sleeping city. My hands—my human hands—twisted into claws, black fur tearing through my skin like a secret that could no longer stay hidden.

That night, the moon taught me my name didn't matter anymore.

Only the curse did.

By day, I am just another university student.

I wake up late, rush through cheap coffee, complain about exams, and pretend I care about my future. Professors see a quiet guy in the back row. Classmates see someone forgettable—safe, normal, human.

And that's exactly how I need it to be.

No one notices the scars under my sleeves. No one hears my heartbeat speeding up as sunset approaches. No one sees me counting minutes instead of hours.

Because when night falls, the city becomes my responsibility.

At exactly 7:43 p.m., the sun disappears behind the buildings.

At 7:44, the pain begins.

I leave the campus early, hoodie pulled tight, headphones blasting music I don't hear. Every step feels heavier as my senses sharpen—too sharp. The world smells different. Louder. Alive in a way humans never notice.

I reach the abandoned warehouse just in time.

My knees hit the ground as the transformation takes over, violent and merciless. Muscles stretch. Spine curves. Teeth grow where words once lived. The curse doesn't ask permission—it claims me.

When it's over, I am no longer human.

I am fur, claws, instinct, and rage wrapped in moonlight.

Somewhere in the city, something dark is moving.

And tonight, it's not the only monster awake.
