Scene 1 – Snowy Innocence
The field stretched endlessly, blanketed in thick, glistening snow. A single, modest house broke the monotony of the white horizon, smoke curling lazily from its chimney. The year felt like the late 1800s, a time when life was simple, and children could run free without worry.
Eight-year-old Akio Kazama laughed, the crisp winter air stinging his cheeks as he hurled another snowball at his classmates. Snowflakes danced in the air, coating the children in white as they chased each other across the field.
It was perfect. Pure. Ordinary.
Scene 2 – The Sky Cracks
Suddenly, a deep rumble tore through the sky. The laughter of children faltered as a fiery streak appeared above—a meteor, bright and unnatural, carving a line through the heavens. Shadows twisted in its glow: figures that did not belong to this world—devils with horns and jagged teeth, vampires with eyes black as void, descending toward the field.
The children, laughing and oblivious, did not notice.
For ten minutes, the sky burned with fire and shadow, yet no one paid attention. Then, as if drawn by some invisible bell, the children returned to their homes.
Scene 3 – Horror Unleashed
Akio trudged through the snow toward his house, his heart light with childish excitement. But when he reached the door, a scream froze him in place.
The sight that greeted him burned into his memory. His mother was gripped tightly by a towering devil, her face pale with terror. Shadows moved around the house, and Akio's father, siblings, all fell prey to the vampires, their life draining into the creatures with cold efficiency.
"Mom! Dad!" Akio's voice cracked, echoing into the void.
He sprinted forward, desperate to save them, but a blur of black appeared behind him. The same vampire from before, faster than his eyes could follow, struck—its claw scratching across his neck, burning with supernatural cold.
Laughter, cruel and hollow, filled the air as the monsters vanished as quickly as they had appeared. Akio fell to his knees in the snow, trembling, bleeding, gasping for air, tears freezing against his cheeks.
Scene 4 – The White Light
Through his blurred vision and agonizing pain, a strange light appeared. Pure white, impossibly bright, yet warm. A voice, gentle yet commanding, whispered:
"Do you want another chance at life?"
Akio raised his bloodied arm, trembling but resolute.
"Anything… anything… to avenge my family!" he screamed. His voice, raw with grief and rage, carried into the snow-laden air.
Scene 5 – The Time Skip
The light enveloped him completely. The world faded.
Eight years passed in an instant.
When the glow dimmed, the boy who had cried and fought for his life was gone. In his place stood a young man—stronger, sharper, and ready. The world that had taken everything from him was waiting, and he would not forgive.
End Prologue.
