Restart. Every wrong glance? Restart. But the thing is... he has to die to activate his ability. Rain Haldrin isn't overpowered. He's a normal guy suddenly transported in another world with nothing but wits and his system. He's a human being. He makes mistakes ( a lot of them ). He's essentially a dark souls character, adapting to every situation and trying to make the best out of it. You can't expect a normal highschool student to be strong off the bat. You can't expect him to be numb to dying. What you can expect, though, is that he tries his best. "You are a hero, Rain Haldrin." This is the story of a self-proclaimed savior.

Chapter 1 - Reincarnated with a Timeloop System

"Wake up."

"Oh?"

Rain's eyes widened after hearing the soft voice across. It was a woman, clad in school uniform that he could remember more than anyone else. A white blouse and black skirt. The mandatory school uniform from his highschool.

The thing is, the woman is unknown to him.

Her black eyes with no white were creepy. Her ear-length black hair was creepy. Her pale, pale, pale skin that barely crossed white was creepy.

She looked like a sleep paralysis demon—which fit since Rain just died last second ago

Maybe she was one. After all, crossing the streets to cut class was something deserving of this end.

All because of that damn truck.

It's their fault they didn't see him walk by. He might've not looked at the red-lights… but the driver should've stopped anyway. None of this is Rain's fault.

Right. Everyone is at fault for this.

"I assume you already know you're dead." Said the girl across, snapping Rain back to reality. "I'm Omo. The goddess of all humans. I'm here to transport you to another world."

Rain blinked, standing up from his kneeled position.

Looking around; there was nothing but black and the white trinkets of stars. It seemed like the void. The space. No, a more accurate description would be something you would see on NASA satellites. The empty, carbonated space beyond the skies.

"Yes." Rain replied, dusting his clothes off.

Transport to another world? So, it's like the reincarnation stories he'd read on webnovel. Usually, they pull gacha spins here and get overpowered abilities. If not, then the talk with this goddess is nothing but a waste.

If that's the case, this should've started chapter one with him in the other world already.

Omo headed closer to Rain, her clothes not showing signs of gravity. They stood there – like plummeted plastic, unmoving despite her exaggerated sways. Finally - she spoke;

"I'm granting you a system."

That made Rain's eyes widen. This is a dream come true.

Before he could retort, Omo slapped her index finger to Rain's mouth, signing 'quiet'. "Buuut, buut, buut—you don't get to choose what it is. You're getting something you really, really need. Picked specifically by this Goddess right here."

"What could it be?" Rain asked, actually curious.

"A timeloop system."
