Synopsis
In the golden halls of Asgard, a prince is haunted by a future only he can see. Sigurd, brother to Odin and son of Bor, was reborn with a unique burden: the memories of another life and knowledge of the cataclysmic events that will one day engulf the Nine Realms. While his family prepares for a new age of prosperity, Sigurd knows that wars with Frost Giants, Dark Elves, and the cosmic chaos of the Marvel universe are inevitable. Refusing to be a passive witness to fate, he sets out on an epic voyage across the stars. His mission: to amass the power and resources needed to defy destiny. From absorbing the energy of a dead Celestial to discovering a legendary Vibranium mine, each step makes him stronger but also risks attracting the attention of the universe's most formidable beings. This is the story of a god trying to cheat prophecy, a brother striving to protect his family, and a warrior forging his own legend in a universe far more dangerous and complex than he ever imagined. Note:The story follows a comic book-style narrative set in an ancient timeline. It will also incorporate elements of the DC universe, but with a proper narrative structure, so it won’t feel rushed. The main character will not be going around seeking romantic interests across different generations. In the present timeline, the MC will be engaged in battles across the Nine Realms, as described in the movies. While the MC will not be invincible, he will steadily grow stronger as the story progresses. Chapter 1 - Marvel World

In an ancient palace, a boy was sitting. He looked toward the sky outside a large, ancient window from which he could see the stars as if they were very near. But he knew it was just an illusion created by the vast distances of space.

"So, I was reborn as the son of Bor Burison. Odin is my elder brother. I don't know whether this is a mystical world or a comic book world."

His name in this life was Sigurd Borson. As far as he could remember from Norse mythology, Sigurd was supposed to be the name of a god of war under Bor, but he couldn't recall other parts of his past life.

Sigurd looked out at the atmosphere of Asgard. It was peaceful, but he knew that whether in Norse mythology or a comic book world, there was a common thread in all stories: Asgard was destroyed in Ragnarok.

However, before Ragnarok, there would still be a lot of trouble for Asgard, with enemies spawning like weeds.

"My divine awakening will be held tomorrow. After all, at the present time, age fifteen is the best time for awakening a godhead.

But I don't know what my divine power will be. I hope it will be something powerful enough to survive in this chaotic world."

Sigurd looked toward the library of Asgard, but he wasn't allowed to enter. It contained magical and runic books that could affect children before they gained their divine power.

After all, this was Asgard, and the knowledge in the library might be more than enough to destroy planets.

That knowledge could also divert the path of a learner if his divine power was of a different origin.

Lost in his thoughts, Sigurd didn't know when he fell asleep.

The next day, Sigurd walked toward the throne room where his father, the present God-King of the Aesir, presided over all the kingdom's meetings.

Immersed in imagining the divine power he would awaken, Sigurd entered the great hall. A golden throne stood in the main position, with smaller thrones on both sides.

Sigurd thought, "Marvel never mentioned all these people in Asgard. Looking at the hall, I think this might be the mystical world after all. In Marvel, except for a few powerful characters, they never mentioned the other gods. Looking at the powerful auras emanating from them, they are definitely powerful."

Then Sigurd's eyes fell on his big brother, Odin, the future God-King. Looking at him made Sigurd realize that Odin was just like a young Thor, but his eyes looked tired, as if he had just fought a great war.

Sigurd came before his father. "Greetings, Father, and greetings to every elder."

Bor, who had been closing his eyes, opened them and looked at his youngest son.

"Good, Sigurd. Your foundation is solid for the awakening of divine power. Come here and stand beside your brother. Try to learn about the world."

Hearing his father's words, Sigurd started to move toward his brother's seat and stood by his side.

Odin looked at his younger brother, gave him a nod, and turned his attention back to their father.

Bor looked at everyone and spoke. "A few decades ago, Odin went to Midgard, where he fought a being called Celestial more powerful than skyfather but due to some reason his strength was decreased and darkened by an insect-like living being called horde. There, Odin sealed the Celestial with the help of some Midgardian superpowers."

Bor then observed the faces of everyone to gauge their reactions. After all, as God-King, he needed to understand the sentiments of his council.

While scanning the room, his eyes fell on his youngest son, whose reaction was different from the others. The council members showed either fear or great satisfaction with the strength of the next successor, but Sigurd looked bewildered.

Bor looked at his son and asked, "Sigurd, you look confused by this news."

Sigurd, who had just confirmed he was in a Marvel world, was definitely confused. This world was more chaotic to him than a purely mystical one would have been.

Although a mystical world might be dangerous, its threats were unknown and therefore less immediate. The Marvel world, however, was known to him; he had seen movies and read comics where, at any moment, someone tried to destroy the world.

Technically, people fear the known more than the unknown. For example, in his previous life, people might have feared God sending them to hell for a crime, but they feared the laws established by society more immediately. That was human psychology. His mind was racing with thoughts about Marvel when he suddenly heard his father's question. He thought for a moment and replied.

"Father, I was confused about the strength of the Midgardian humans who can fight hand-in-hand with my brother. And what are these Celestials?"

Although he knew some details, he still preferred to ask. After all, from the time he was born until now, he had never set foot outside the royal city of Asgard. Everything he learned from the Asgardian warriors was about how great the God-King was or how mighty Odin was in fighting giants. None of them had mentioned Midgard in such a context. Although a few mentioned a great flood that drowned a kingdom there, the events they described also happened in the mystical myths, so he couldn't verify which world he was in.

At the same time, everyone in the council who heard the young prince's question was not surprised; they too had limited information about Midgard, and the Celestials were new to them, so they also wanted to know more.

All eyes turned to the God-King.

Bor, feeling the collective gaze, looked at Odin and said, "Odin will explain the event. And no one is allowed to speak of this anywhere else."

Odin looked at everyone and began to explain. Basically, a Celestial named Zgreb had come to Midgard to look for a fellow Celestial who had arrived there in an unknown era. Zgreb found his fellow dead, killed by a race called the Horde, which fed on cosmic energy.

When Zgreb discovered the body, he was attacked by the remaining Horde. He wasn't killed, but his mind was affected. He began to attack the humans, which was when Odin arrived on Midgard and saw the situation.

As the Celestial was about to go out of control, several humans intervened to stop him. Odin saw magicians and warriors among them, so he joined the fight. However, the Celestial's strength was immense, so with the help of the Midgardian magicians, they managed to seal the being away.
