The final chapter of the novel "Sage : the mage of magic" concluded on my laptop screen, leaving me in contemplative silence.
The story of adventures, friendships, and marvelous battles had reached its end, yet a lingering thought had came into my mind .
"What if I could alter the course of that world for the better?"
As I pondered this notion, an unexpected power outage plunged my room into darkness.
Rising from my chair, I approached the window, seeking solace in the night sky.
However, the world outside, an impenetrable darkness, with ominous clouds hanging low. Suddenly, a brilliant flash of light illuminated the room, and before I could react, a searing bolt of lightning struck me where I stood.
.
.
.
Than I awoke to a throbbing headache, a groan escaping my lips.
"The hell..."
The voice was unfamiliar—softer, higher-pitched.
Alarmed, I forced my eyes open, taking in my surroundings.
Cold stone walls enclosed me, iron bars sealing me within a cell.
A metallic collar encircled my neck, chains tethering me to the wall.
Hunger gnawed at my stomach, and thirst parched my throat.
Spotting a small puddle of water in the corner, I crawled towards it, desperate for relief.
As I cupped the water to my lips, my gaze caught my reflection.
Wide, blue eyes stared back at me from a youthful face framed by vibrant red hair. Shock coursed through me, and I recoiled, exclaiming,
"Who's that kid in the water?"
Frantically, I examined my hands—smaller, delicate yet firm. My feet, too, were unfamiliar. Panic surged as I realized this wasn't my body.
Desperation took hold, and I lashed out, punching the stone wall in frustration.
To my astonishment, the wall crumbled under the force, debris scattering across the cell.
Breathing heavily, I murmured,
"Red hair and inhuman strength... These are the traits of the Hercules tribe from the Sage novel."
The revelation struck me like a physical blow. "Could I have been reincarnated into the world of STMM(Short for sage the mazes of magic).
The weight of this realization settled upon me. I was no longer in my world, no longer in my body.
'' No way in hell? Is this for real? ''
to be continued...
