What could go wrong with one sneeze?
For Uthayn, everything!
.......
Hell's new intern, Uthayn Mercelleus Corvail, accidentally blows his nose with the Record Book of Death. Enraged, the High Wraith punished him to clean the Stillum—a place where the dead souls are preserved as feathers in the Soul Tree.
But when his pet, Mara, sneezed, the feathers shattered and scattered across the mortal world.
At the peak of anger, High Wraith banished them, declaring they cannot return until the lost souls are recovered.
Now, the two penniless ghosts wander the living realm in the hunt for missing souls.
........
Meanwhile, in the mortal world, the Kingdom of Noctara was in complete chaos.
Townsfolk disappearing mysteriously, corpses piling up in wells, and the water flow from Mount Aevira inexplicably ceasing.
With the subjects questioning the strength of the king's reign, the royal advisors urged Rubezza, the princess of Noctara to marry the son of the scheming Duke of Echrynn and appoint him as the new king, claiming he was the only brave man who could solve the mysteries.
Rubezza sneered, "Brave? Him? No brave man cries for his mother before he dares the privy."
Rejecting their advice, the princess volunteered to solve the mystery herself.
But never in her wildest dreams did she imagine she would be solving ghostly mysteries with two ghosts by her side!
