[A/N: In honor of Gog coming soon, I've decided to make this story. I've just randomly thought about this idea, though.]
(Third Person POV)
Hunter leaned back on his gaming chair, "Ahh...." He said as he yawned, "Oh boy. Omega has been kicking my ass....oh well, at least I've gotten the Greatsword."
He logged off Wilds, turning off his console as he set his controller down. He then stood up and stretched, letting out an even louder yawn as his eyes got heavier.
"Damn." He said as he rubbed his hair, "Got really tired, huh? That was around five hours of straight grinding...nothing compared to what I usually do when I am in there. But it is a lot...what time is it?"
He looked at his digital clock, which was sitting on a small table next to his bed.
"1:30 am?" He said as he blinked slowly, "Yea, I have to go to sleep."
He walked over to his room's bathroom, going for the sink to brush his teeth. After two minutes, he walked out and yawned, his mouth feeling fresher.
He then looked at the tablet that was on his bed, seeing that there was a notification from his Discord chat, discussing his favorite Manga, One Piece. He grabbed the tablet and laid down, yawning again as he unlocked the tablet. He then read what the chat was about, his eyes widening slightly when reading the contents.
"Oh shit." He said, "I forgot to read the latest chapter...man, God Valley is really popping off huh? It's insane....I wonder when the flashback will end, Loki never ended the story, haha! Well, obviously, it's a flashback to give context for Harold's death. But it's a funny meme at this point."
He yawned once more, his entire body feeling heavier than usual.
"Well, shit." He thought to himself, "What's with this? Why am I sooo tired right now?"
His tablet fell on his chest, to which he groaned slightly, "Urgh..." He said, "Shit....maybe I should just go to sleep...."
His eyes were heavy as he stared up at the ceiling, pondering about the state of the game.
"Omega is quite the powerful opponent, hm?" He said, "Such a pain.....but Gog will be even worse.....he's an Elder Dragon...oh, but collab monsters are always powerful. Maybe Gog won't be that bad...I mean, he should be worse than Gore, that much is obvious. It wont' make sense if 9-Star Gore is stronger than an Elder Dragon..."
His eyes were closing, which he tried his best to fight.
"But....." he yawned, "If there were an Arch-Tempered version of Gore and Arkveld.....I'd bet they'd be as strong as an Elder.....or not, I don't know.....Arch-Tempered Gore should just be Shagaru.....and Gog should be a 9-Star, automatically stronger than any other 9-Star without being tempered...fuck it, skip Tempered Gogmazios and give us Arch-Tempered Gog ahaha...!"
His eyes then closed, his mouth still opening as he rambled to himself.
"Gog's armor should be great..." He said, his words trailing, ".....they should bring back Glavenus...his weapons.....were not.....good....in the world....."
"Justice for Glavenus....weapons....."

Hunter opened his eyes, "Ahh!!!" He exclaimed as he was hit by a bright light, "W-What the hell!!!"
He sat up, noticing that he was in the middle of a white plane, light everywhere that nearly blinded him. The immediate vicinity felt a bit warm, but there was a surge of cold wind that hit him from behind, giving his body a terrible shiver.
"W-Where am I?!" He said as he looked around in a panic, "What's going on?!"
Suddenly, a screen appeared in front of him, made out of a blue light with dark runes on it. He blinked as he saw this, completely confused by it. There was a strange pressure coming from the screen, which had nothing on it for now.
"w-what is this?" He said, "A screen.....am I dreaming?"
Then, the runes swirled around and began to form words on the Screen, a message appearing on it.
[Hunter, You Have Been Chosen]
"What?" Hunter said, "Chosen???"
[System Start]
- You will now be transmigrated to a different world, one that you might be familiar with.
- You will be granted a System Template, a predetermined set of abilities that you must unlock and level up.
- To progress this System, you must complete tasks related to the world you'd be sent to.
- Hunter, to complete this World's Ultimate Goal and be granted a Wish, you must level the System and climb to the Top.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!!!" Hunter exclaimed as he stood up, "What the hell is going on?! What Ultimate Goal? Wish? Did I skip a couple of chapters here?! What is going on?! A System? How am I suddenly with a System in my possession??? And what world am I going to be transported to?!"
[World: Monster Hunter]
- You will be transported to the world of Monster Hunter.
- Particularly, you will end up in The Forbidden Lands and will have to progress your way through the world.
- Hunt Monsters to level up your System, becoming significantly stronger than ever. Note that with the presence of your System and the progression of your abilities, there is a chance that the World's monsters will become stronger in response.
"T-The Forbidden Lands?" Hunter said with a completely baffled look, "I.....I was just playing Wilds.....you're telling me I am going to be transported there?!"
He couldn't believe what he was reading. He never once imagined that this would happen to him; being transmigrated to another world, much less the world of Monster Hunter. T
"Oh shit....." Hunter began to panic a bit, "This has to be a dream!"
[System: Devil Fruit and Haki]
- The Template for This System is Devil Fruit and Haki. You are to wield the powers from the One Piece World, harnessed through the System and yourself. The more powerful you grow, your surroundings will adapt to you, growing stronger themselves.
- You will be granted the Uo Uo no Mi: Model Azure Dragon.
- Hunt Monsters and complete other tasks to level up your Devil Fruit Tree, growing stronger and gaining powerful abilities.
- Do the same to level up your Haki Tree, gaining the ability to use both powers in conjunction.
"What?!" Hunter exclaimed, "What do you mean I got Kaido's fruit? That is absolutely insane!! That just...that is overkill!!!"
He couldn't fathom the idea of an Azure Dragon like that of Kaido's devil fruit, rampaging about in the world of Monster Hunter. But if the System is to limit that power, then it would be more believable.
"This is starting to sound more and more like a dream....." Hunter said with an annoyed tone, "I cannot believe this is happening....."
[ALERT: YOU WILL NOW BE TRANSPORTED]
A bright white light began to engulf Hunter, his body feeling a hot sensation burn all over.
"A-Arghh!!!" Hunter shouted in pain, trying to fight against it but failing miserably, "Shit!"
