The war devastated the human race , a selfish war made by mankind for expansion and ideologies leaving in the aftermath only the destruction of nations and suffering , having used the nukes to eliminate the national enemies of certain countries , had serious effects such as creating many mutated creatures without sentience or even with sentience ,yet at the pinnacle of the human race stands D.O.S.S.I.E.R. , a heavily militaristic organisation that uses its influence to gain workforce and test subjects to "evolve" the human body beyond comprehension using any means necessary , the name stands for "Directorate Of State Surveillance" , some people may say or for "Division Of Strategic Suppression, Intelligence" , but the truth is they only care about themselves , at least that's what Frank thinks , he gave them the name " Department Of Special Security, Internal Enforcement & Repression"
, having been abducted at a young age by the people of Dossier , he has come to hate them after what they put him through in the name of "humanity" , he was experimented on and trained many years to become a weapon for his own race , a sword that cuts down their enemies regardless of whether they pose a threat or not , Frank is 19 , the age he was supposed to be assigned his first mission , but during the mission something unexpected happened , his party that consisted of 6 soldiers was ambushed by an evolved Chrysalis Prime , something only veterans or people who had achieved Chimera Stage in the organisation could handle, the other 5 people who had accompanied him were all buddies he used to train with through all those years making the pain and suffering he had experienced in the organisation lesser , yet they were all killed by the Chrysalis Prime
, he was the only survivor ,but now he was crippled , his legs were lost since they were cut by the monster when he tried to run away and he was all scarred by the sharp claws of the bug , however he was managed to be be retrieved by a scout squad of the organisation , when he was bhought back he could barely see since he was bloodied and beaten to a pulp , but he could still hear the whispers of the doctor , fellow soldiers and even scientists:
"What a waste , i knew the kid wouldn't go far , this generation is truly pathetic" said a soldiers.
"What a mess , i heard he was the only survivor of his party , he must of sold his teammates so he could live" said jokingly a nurse.
"This young man cannot fight anymore but he still has some use for the organisation , bring him to my lab " said a scientist with a grinning expression.
The scout party didn't dare raise concerns , since he was the head scientist with a clearance level 4 , way higher than them , who were just clearence level 1 .
Frank heard this he tried to get up , but to not avail , he was weakened by the fight , he had no legs , he was pretty much a wounded wolf , the scientist noticed his subtle movements and he smiled even more , you could almost see his grin reach his ears : "What's the matter young one. , i promise to take good care of you" .
But Frank could see his evil intent in his eyes , he tried to open his mouth , however he lost consciousness the verry next moment.
He woke up in a white room with bright lights , he tried to move but was strapped to a table , he grew agitated and called out: "Hey it's anyone there , let me go! " , his calls were futile , the only thing that came was the verry scientist that he remembered before becoming unconsciousness , the scientist adjusted his glasses and smiled: "My name is Galen , i am the head scientist of this unit , you have been assigned as a helper for my next experiment , i hope you don't mind" , Frank now could take a better look at the scientists , he was frail , old with white hair a pair of glasses that almost looked comical since how round they looked and a white lab coat , despite looking like this the old man who called himself Galen gave a vibe of true danger , Frank however having been trained since a young age in many ways ,which also consisted in emotional stability , he muttered "What happened , why am i here instead of a medbay , in the regulation it's clearly stated all wounded are to be healed and sent back to the frontlines to fight !"
Galen laughed aloud ,which sounded more like a cough , and said: "That's indeed true , but take a look at yourself , you are crippled , you became useless to our organisation, but you could still be useful by being a subject going through my experiment ".
Despite his scarred expression and his emotional stability , Frank complexion darkened and managed to say: "I didn't sign for this , you need my consent befo-.." , however before he could finish his sentence his mouth was strapped .
Galen became serious and commanded: " Begin the experiment, input all power" , then he made a pause and continued , but this time recorded himself using a tape: "Experiment number 6891 , the subject took serious injuries before coming here , so it should meet the standard also since he has mental toughness the experiment should go smoothly , testing otherworldly power inside the human body to see how it reacts , we call this rupture of reality the warp , a mysterious phenomenon that affects all things , it': of immense power , if i am right we could have soldiers with the power of Gods" , the head scientist pulled down the lever to the machine , a machine that weighs a ton and has many needles attached on the verry top , the machine slowly descended towards Frank , while frank was strapped on the lab table with his eyes forces opened , he tried to resist but he simply couldn't , he inwardly cursed his weakness and vowed to kill the scientist in the most gruesome way possible .
The needless reached him touching his body yet they didn t stop , they went deep inside every inch of his body , Frank struggled in pain and agony . The scientist stopped the test and recorded in the tape the conclusion of the test " Experiment number 6891 failed unfortunately , but the host continued to live unlike the other counterparts , i think have the right subject i just need to adjust the experiment " The scientist was amazed how Frank was able to survive the warp energy injected in his body , he looked at Frank lying on the table struggling in pain with many needles holes on his body and said with a smile :"We are going to have a good cooperation" , he proceeded to drug Frank to sleep .
The experiments continued for a long time , 5 years more exactly the experiments getting more and more painful ,Frank became desperate , sometimes even begging the scientists to kill him , some fellow scientists actuallt thought about putting him out pf his misery , however they couldn't since the chief of the experiment was the head researcher himself Galen , over the years he got more funds from their organisation Dossier , at first they were skeptical of the work of Galen , but seeing results and possibilities they decided to overlook the ethical implications of the experiment conducted by researcher Galen ,and even funded him , making his experiments more and more inhumane , it had became a rumour that Frank , a former soldier who fought for the sake of humanity became guinea pig subjected to horrible experiments done by the Dossier organisation ,many people thought it was a necessary sacrifice , some other people thought it was highly unethical and that Frank should be released and compensated, but the end nothing happened and the experiment continued.
One fateful day Galen recorded in his tape : "Experiment number 10.000 i believe this time the experiment would succeed and the warp energy will safely enter the subject's body , i have made the last adjustments like putting the exact dosage and changing the needles to
high pressure jet injectors , i belive this time i will succeed!" , he paused then looked at Frank who looked unrecognisable he used to be a fit trained man , now he looked more like a skeleton than a living being , the scientist said : "Frank i believe our cooperation will soon end , i want to thank you for all the beautiful memories we've had together " he grinned " , Frank was filled with anger and resentment , he was abandoned by everyone , left to suffer in the hands of this person , if he could call him that , he wanted to rip through the straps and rip him in half , but he couldn't , he hated his weakness for the past 5 years he struggled but to no avail , he himself recognised he was trash , a former shell of himself , the real Frank died when fighting the Chrysalis Prime , that's what he thought , he hated himself for being weak , he hated this word for doing this to him , if only he had another chance….
His chain of thoughts was interrupted by the scientist , who commanded:"Begin the experiment , do as instructed " , the fellow junior scientists were taking notes of every actions , Galen pulled the same lever from the first day he got in this laboratory , in an instant Frank was sprayed with water-like white serum , his eyes almost popped out , this was unlike of any other experiments of the past he felt he would really die here.
Galen observed everything and changed power input from 50 percent to 100 percent , Frank skin tore off , his muscles was showing ,his organs were failing , every second felt like a milenium for him , a milenium of pain , Galen stopped the experiment , his mood was grim , he was frustrated his experiment failed and his subject became useless to him , now he had to dispose him , Galen took one last look at Frank and said : "Unfortunately , you are a failure , i really had high hopes for you , a pity , now i need a new subject as resilient and as wounded as you " he looked at the fellow junior scientists and said:" Take him to the incinerator , he has no use for me anymore"
Frank train of thoughts was chaotic from the pain he had suffered , not just now but through all the pain over the years from his experiments and trainings from childhood and now being experimented by Galen , and now he's going to be put down like a dog after out serving his usefulness , he was angry , verry angry , he couldn't expres in actual thoughts how angry he was , but he couldn't do anything , he refused to go out like this before having his revenge.
He was transported to a dim lighted room full of bodies , the only light there , was the light cause by the fire from the incinerator , one junior scientist commented angrily : "It's really a pity, after all of our efforts this experiment failed !" as he took out his anger on Frank by punching him , a girl scientist stopper him and said "Stop , we are here incinerate him , not maul his corpse!" , little did they know Frank was consciousness through all this pain.
The scientists threw him like a trash inside the fire ,he started burning he didn t feel pain anymore , maybe because his pain sensors no longer existed , the only thing Frank felt was humiliation , he never thought he would go out like this , but at least he could finally rest , after all this , his vision faded in the fire , but was quicly overwhelmed by a bright white light and a noisy background , he was small , in the hands of a giant person he never saw before ,one with pointy ears at that , he heard people around him talk in an indescribable language he never heard before , even though he had excellent knowledge and knew many languages, he quicly understood the situation….. he has been reborn , he was given a second chance , but not as a human , as something else.
