Synopsis
In a world where tribes bow to forgotten gods and curses pass like shadows through generations, a boy is born broken. Ahayue of the Dawnfire Tribe carries twisted bones and a frail body, marked from birth as the child of misfortune. To his people, he is a curse made flesh — mocked, shunned, and whispered about as the Moon God’s punishment. Yet within his heart burns a stubborn ember: the belief that his destiny is not to wither, but to rise. On the eve of his sixteenth year, when the Ceremony of Passage should welcome him into adulthood, humiliation drives him into exile. Alone, he steps beyond the safety of his tribe and into a world of dangerous forests, ruined temples, and restless spirits. But the journey he begins is no ordinary quest for healing. Each step reveals ancient truths: of gods who betray, of curses that bind bloodlines, and of power hidden beneath suffering. With every trial, Ahayue’s body changes — piece by piece, pain by pain — yet the question remains: Is he unraveling the curse, or awakening something far worse? “The Cursed Child will either heal the world… or destroy it.”

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Moon’s Curse

Long before the tribes carved fire from stone and claimed the rivers as their own, there was only the sky, the earth, and the gods who walked between them.

The Moon God, Yurae, gave light to the night, a silver shield against the endless dark. To his chosen bloodline, he entrusted a gift — bones unbreakable, bodies swift, spirits enduring. These were the Children of Yurae, guardians of the balance between men and gods.

But men are seldom content with gifts. One among them, a chieftain whose name is forbidden to be spoken, reached higher than his station. He sought the Flame of Day, fire belonging only to the Sun. With it, he believed he could free his people from divine law.

The Moon God punished this betrayal with a curse:"Every few generations, one shall be born twisted. His body will break upon itself. His spirit will carry chains. And through him, the fate of tribes will turn — to healing, or to ruin."

Thus the tribes learned to fear the Cursed Child (CC), an omen that the gods had not forgiven.
