The Phoenix Clan is one of the ten major clans of the Underworld, standing above many others both for its vast wealth and for its contribution to the great war through its Phoenix Tears—capable of healing anything. These were a great boon in battle. Moreover, the clan's founder fought side by side with Lucifer himself, shielding him when he was struck by the Seraph Gabriel and staying behind to face the other seraphs so Lucifer could escape.
