Chapter 1 - ep 1 draft

"Welcome, Anon," she rumbled, her voice smooth and confident, edged with impatience yet threaded with a faint, almost playful amusement. "I hear you've assembled a team for the upcoming missions. Quite the selection… unorthodox, even." Her eyes swept over the roster: a Parasaur, an Ankylosaur, a Stegosaurus, and a Triceratops. "It's been some time since I've seen such… a diverse assortment."

"Ah, I see," the professor murmured, her long, dexterous fingers brushing the edge of her polished desk as she regarded Anon thoughtfully. Her eyes, sharp and calculating, gleamed with equal parts amusement and appraisal, and the subtle sway of her ample form radiated both authority and effortless presence.

"A strategic choice, indeed," she continued, voice rich and commanding, yet threaded with warmth. "By selecting a Parasaur, you've ensured that your team has a swift and agile scout, capable of reconnaissance and hit-and-run tactics. The Ankylosaur's natural armor provides invaluable defense, allowing them to endure the fiercest assaults while shielding their allies. The Stegosaurus' spiked tail, of course, serves as a formidable counterattack, perfect for crowd control and punishing those who overreach."

She leaned back slightly, the black-and-gold embroidery of her robes catching the light, accentuating her stature and curves, and let her gaze linger on Anon, a subtle note of approval in the curve of her lips. "And the Triceratops… stalwart and wise, ideal for frontline combat. Their strength and stamina will sustain your team in prolonged engagements, a rock against the chaos of battle."

Anon's reply was curt, hands waving dismissively. "Cut the crap. I want to get this over with. I don't like any of these people, and they don't like me. Let's just start, yeah?"

The professor's eyes narrowed slightly, her jaw flexing. "Anon, your attitude leaves much to be desired," she said, her voice dropping to a low, threatening rumble. "I understand you may not care for the company of your peers, but they are your team nonetheless. You would do well to remember that their lives, and the success of your missions, depend on your leadership and guidance."

The Professor circled around you, her heavy footsteps echoing in the spacious office as she kept you in her sights. Harsh as it may seem, the world out there is filled with monsters far worse than any dinosaur. You and your team will need to learn to rely on each other, to trust one another with your lives. That is the only way you will all survive.

She stopped behind you, leaning down to bring her face level with yours, her hot breath tickling the back of your neck. Careful, anon. Too much coldness, too much disdain for others... and you may find yourself very alone indeed. A leader must inspire loyalty and camaraderie, not resentment and hatred.

The Professor straightened up and pressed the button on her desk, the mission assignment panel flashing with new life. The mission is active, as you insisted. But remember this - the first step to a successful mission is a successful team. Do not forget that, anon.
