So, I got Isekai'd. Surprised?
Thought not. Though, the way I died was somewhat interesting. Who would've thought vampires exist, and one just so happened to break into my home, rip my heart out while I was sleeping, and enjoy a bloody feast.
Now, you might be thinking, where'd you get Isekai'd to? I'll tell ya.
I was Isekai'd to the Honkai Universe, and to be more specific, a variant of the whole Hoyoverse itself.
You see, when I arrived here, I didn't know where I was, but when I started to see mentions of Honkai this, Herrscher that, zombies, etc., I knew I was in HI3, but boy, how wrong I was.
Remember when I mentioned it was a variant of the Hoyoverse itself?
And to be blunt, think Warhammer meets Honkai. Yeah, I know. Terrifying to think of, throwing the horrors of Warhammer in with the Honkai formula, and boom. Dial all of Honkai Impact up five times over.
But if I was to explain it a little more, you'd realise it's more just the scale that is taken from Warhammer. Humanity in this universe is very prosperous. We'd be a type 3 civilisation in simple terms.
We colonised the Milky Way and even began expeditions into other galaxies, the Andromeda Galaxy being the obvious choice, but clearly, that was a mistake.
From what I found out and interpreted, the Honkai has humanity trapped in a cycle. Everything was fine before humanity's system rulers declared the Super Earth project.
Humans expanded rapidly, and within just 10 years we went from it taking days to travel from one side of the Milky Way to the other, down to just a matter of hours.
Obviously, the Honkai didn't like that, and in true Honkai fashion, sent Herrschers, a lot of them, and in just days, trillions of lives were lost. Solar systems became barren wastelands, the stars becoming fuel for the Herrschers.
Yeah, stars are actually just Honkai energy, not fusion reactions like we thought. Makes sense why we could never get any kind of solar power, or even why attempts at Dyson spheres yielded nothing.
I know this is a lot for our feeble human minds to process, but unlike you, I have to deal with all this shit. So suck it up and listen.
Now, the Herrschers themselves seemed to be conceptually weaker than the original 14 Herrschers from the game. They still have cores, bring death and despair with each impact, but just lack the conceptual abilities of the Herrschers we know.
From my studies, they more so are just using Honkai energy and molding it using some basic understanding of atomic structure, molding it into stuff like fire, water, earth, and even once, a Herrscher turned a planet into gold, though that planet fell into the system's star.
We lost a lot with just this first wave, if we can even call it that. There was no actual strong Herrscher, just a few fission missiles, railguns, and a couple starship fleets that took care of them.
But ever since then, Honkai have constantly appeared, a lot bigger, stronger, faster, and more abundant than anything we knew.
Even just Seraph-Class Honkai were now the size of Boeing-747 planes. Massive. For those of you that are familiar with Jyahnar from GGZ, well here, she would probably be a Judgement-Class beast at best.
Emperor-Class Honkai are already bordering the size of small countries.
"OI! Blackwood, suit up, we've got a swarm to deal with." A suit of armour was tossed towards me. I caught it with both hands, and fuck, is this shit heavy. This shit makes power armour from Fallout look like casual clothing.
And somehow, they expect me to be useful.
Anyway, that's all for now. Time to deal with a swarm colony again.

A/N: Just a concept I might play around with, ran into writers block with my other fics, so writing this may help.
Feel free to give me feedback on what you think of the idea. I will most likely continue this as I do have like 10% of the whole story actually outlined for some reason, and it might be fun to write something fresh.
