"Ari... Wake up. You'll be late again for school."
Ryusei, her older brother's voice came from the kitchen, a bit annoyed but soft in the way only he had.
Arisha groaned and buried herself deeper inside her blanket.
"Five more minutes." She shouted back.
"Five more will turn twenty and then I would carry out of bed in bridal style. You want that?" Ryusei pushed through her room's door, leaned against the frame with a teasing grin.
She peeked through from under the blanket. His hair was a mess, uniform on but not buttoned, tie half done, hanging loose and he looked he hadn't slept well.
"You didn't slept much, Onii-Chan?" She muttered.
"Don't change the topic." He walked hot her bed, pulling the blanket of her, "Up. Now."
She squicked and sat up, hugging her knee, "Mean Onii-Chan."
"I love you too." He chckled and ruffled her bed head.
She swatted his arm away, pouting, "I am not a kid."
"Can't help it. You're cute when you pout." He smirked, sitting on the edge of the bed beside her.
"Come, I made eggs."
"You always made eggs." She nagged.
"I made them cause you eat them."
"You better made toast, " She asked, getting up dramatically and dragging her feet.
"Of course. Now wash up, come fast." He smiled toward her.
"Yeah yeah..." She said, waving her hand in mock annoyance, though a faint smile played on her lips.
---
They went to the kitchen. The little house was quiet as always. No parent, no noise, just them. It had been like this for years, ever since she could remember. Ryusei handled everything fromm cooking to paying bills, to preparing her lunch. He was basically like her parents, though he never treated her like she was a problem. He teased her like a brother and she loved him.
"You're staring at me again." Ryusei teases, setting her plate down in front of her.
"I am not."
"You're."
She stick her tongue out, "Shut up."
Ryusei chuckled and sat across from her her. "Eat."
She poked at her egg with her fork, "Onii-Chan, are you tired?"
"A little. Home works, partime job, you know. Don't worry."
"Don't over do it." She said, her voice carrying a hint of worry.
"I need to take care of my cute and Adorable baby sister." He reached over and flicked her forehead."You worry too much."
"You're the one working all the time..."
"And you need to stop worrying at need to enjoy being a kid."
"I am not a kid."
"Then stop pouting like one." He grinned.
She kicked him lightly under the table, "You're mean."
"Still you love me."
She blushed, looking down at her plate, " Yeah..."
He went quite for a moment before smiling, "I know."
---
After breakfast, they grabbed their school bag. He always walked her to her school even though his school was opposite her, but his excuse was that he didn't trusts 'creeps'.
"You act like I am five." She complained as they walked down the street.
"You act like you're five." He shot back.
"I am thirteen!"
"Exactly," He ruffles her hair, "You're still my baby sister."
She pushed his hand away, her cheeks warm, "Don't do it In public."
"Why? You're cute."
"Don't call me that!"
"Sorry, you're adorable." He grinned.
"You're impossible." She groaned.
"I love you too."
They reached her school gate. She didn't like to say goodbye and she hated that he always looked tired when he left for his school.
"Go on. You'll be late." He smiled toward her.
"Text me when you're done with school." She muttered.
"I always do," He leaned in, poking her cheek. "Be a good girl for me."
"I am always good."
"I know." He smiled, leaning closer to kiss on her forehead.
She blushed, touching the spot as she turned at went in.
"Guess... It's my turn now." He sighed, turning toward his way to school.
"Ari. Please he save." He muttered.
---
"Hey Arisha."
I looked up form my lunch. It was Aiko. She sat down next to her with her usual grin. "Who is that guy always walking you to school?" She asked casually, opening her bento.
Her heart skipped, "Huh?"
"That tall guy. Dark hair. Really handsome." She Asked, "Come on tell me. Is he your boyfriend or something?"
She chocked, "W-what... No! He is my brother."
Aiko blinked, "Seriously?"
"Yes." Arisha said, her cheeks burning.
"Ohh..." She smiled, "He's your brother. He is really handsome you know."
"Don't say that." She frowned.
"Why? It's true." She grinned, "Seriously... If I had a brother like that, I had–"
"Stop. He is my brother." She groaned.
"He is hot you know." She grinned.
*Why is it bothering me this much. I hate when she calls him that.*
"Arisha... Can you please help me talk to him?" She grabbed her hands, her eyes were sparkling.
"Why?"
"Why not?"
"He is just my older brother." She muttered.
"Just Onii-Chan... Huh," She smirked, "You two are really close, aren't you."
Arisha blushed, looking away, "We grew up together."
"Still... He was looking at you this morning like... Wow."
She froze, "What do you mean?"
She shrugged, "Like super protective. Kinds cute actually. I wish I had big brother like that."
Arisha didn't knew why, her chest felt weird, possessive, and she don't like the way she talked about her brother.
Aiko elbowed her, "Please Arisha, can I meet him?"
"He'll come to pick me up. You can talk to him then."
"Really? Arisha you're the best," Aiko beamed, then huged her tightly.
"Get away from me." Arisha blushed, pushing her.
Aiko just giggled.
---
When school ended, Arisha ran outside and waited at her usual spot for Ryusei. Aiko tagged along.
"Is he really going to pick you up?" Aiko asked.
"Yeah."
She giggled, "Can't wait to see him up close again."
Arisha frowned toward her, "Why?"
"Because he is handsome." Aiko giggled.
Arisha crossed her hands neatly below her boobs, "Don't."
"Don't what?"
"Don't flirt with him."
"Jealous?" Aiko teased.
"I am not."
"Yes you're."
Arisha groaned.
Then Arisha saw him, walking toward her. Her heart jumped like always. He looked tired but smiled when he looked at her.
"Hey Ari!"
"Hi." Arisha said softly.
"He is even hotter up closer."
Arisha glared at her.
"Who's this cute little lady?" Ryusei said, trying to tease her.
"My friend." She muttered, though his words stinked.
Aiko stepped forward with a bright smile, "Hi. I am Tanoshi Ai. Nice to meet you. You're her Onii-Chan, right?"
"You walk your sister everyday? That's so sweet."
"Of course. Gotta keep her save." He looked up at her and petted her head. "She is my precious little sister."
Arisha blushed, looking away.
"That's cute."
"Let's talk again someday."
"Yeah... Maybe tomorrow." Aiko asked, fidgeting.
"Hmm..." He nodded.
"Ready to go Ari?"
"Yeah." She said quickly, grabbing his arm.
"Nice to meet you." Aiko called out as they walked away.
---
As soon as they were out of sight, Arisha pouted.
"What's up with that face?"
"Nothing."
"You're mad about something?" He asked.
"I am not."
"You're pouting."
She looked away, but didn't let go of his hand, "Aiko was being annoying."
He raised a brow, "Like how?"
"She... She was calling you handsome."
"You're just jealous." He chuckled.
"I am not jealous." She yelled, cheeks burning.
"You totally do." He grinned at her.
"I am not."
"Soo cute." He said, ruffling her hair affectionately.
She swatted his hand away, "Stop calling me cute."
"But you're cute." He leaned closer, smirking, "You didn't even wanted her to call me handsome."
She blushed, "No..."
"Why?" He teased her.
She but her lips. "Because... You're mine.".
Ryusei's eyes softed, " Your's in the sense?"
"I... I still want to hog you. I am not ready to share you yet. She confessed, blushing furiously.
Ryusei leaned closer, kissing her forehead. " Good then. I like being your. You can hog me all you want until you're satisfied."
Her heart fluttered.
---
When they got home, Ryusei instantly crashed onto the couch. He set his bag down.
She frowned at him, "You should nap."
"Can't. Still got homework to do." He replied, yawning.
"You should rest." She crossed her arms bow her boobs.
"Bossy."
"I learned from you."
"I learned from you."
That made him laugh.
She then sat next to him, leaning against him. Ryusei sighed, but wrapped his arm around her, pulling her closer. She likes to be close to him. He was warm, and smelled like his cologne.
"You're quite." He asked.
"You're tired." She said softly, "Makes me sad."
"Don't be said Ari." He kissed her forehead again, and her heart skipped a bit again.
"You always do everything for me." She said softly.
"Of course. You're my whole world." He smiled st her.
Her chest felt, warm. She hugged him tightly, "I love you." Realising what she said, she added, "I mean like a sibling."
"I know." He chucked softly. "I love you too... More than anything."
They held each other like for something. It felt warm.
---
That night she tried cooking. She almost burned it. He laughed but he said it was great. She didn't knew if he was liying or not, but she didn't cared.
"You're so sweet." He said, ruffling her hair, "Taking care of your brother now."
"I wanted to help." She muttered.
"You always help. Just you being here is worth it."
"You always say that." She blushed, looking down at her plate.
"I am saying the truth." He teased.
"You're cheesy."
"But you still love me."
She pouted, cheeks warm, "I hate that you're right."
---
After dinner, she was washing the dishes. Ryusei was doing his homework on the table. He looked focused, brow furrowed. She couldn't help but stare at him.
"You're staring again." He grinned.
She stick her tongue out at him again.
---
Ryusei was in his bed. Scrolling through his mobile phone.
He heard a knock on his door. "Come in."
She peeked Inside, a pillow in her hand. "Can I... Sleep here tonight?"
He blinked then smiled, "Of course. Their is no better body pillow then your little sister." Teaismg her.
She blushed, walking toward him, "Don't try anything funny, mister."
She crawled onto the bed at laid beside him. He pulled the blanked over both of them and wrapped his arms around him.
"See... A Soft, squishy, little sister body pillow." He teased her.
"Shut up." She murmered, she didn't let, instead snuggled closer, "And you're my body pillow pillow too. A strong one."
"Glad to be your body pillow."
---
She had fallen asleep. But for Ryusei, the night had only started. He carefully crawl out of bed, trying not to wake her up.
"Slepp well Ari. Leave everything on your Onii-Chan." He whispered, leaning down toward her face again, kissing her cheeks before walking away.
He grabbed his jacket and slipped out of his window.
The night air was cold. He claimed up to the side of the house, landing on the roop top with ease. His eyes scanned the empty streets.
Nothing.
He crouched low, eyes sharp and jumped, landing on another roop top.
He moved silently across the roop top, without making any noise as if he had done it all the time.
He stooped at the top of a street light pole, from where he could see every where.
"Where are you..." He mumured, his voice was serious not kind when he talked with his sister.
Then he felt it. The foul, familiar presence of an Ombra.
"Found you." He wispered.
She stepped out from the shadows, no, stumbled. A twisted figure. A woman's body, distorted, bent at impossible angles. Skin pale, ripped, drenched in blood, naked. Her hair hung in matted clumps. Her mouth stretched too wide, jagged teeth glinting in the dim light.
Her voice was like a screech.
"Ari…sha…"
He jumped down, landing right in front of her. His eyes narrowed, pulling out his punch.
