Chapter 1 - Chapter 1—Psycho Villains {1}

Chapter 1—Psycho Villains {1}

Chu Dynasty, Poisonous Grey Forest.

The canopy of trees had woven a roof above; the sunlight passed through the gaps between the canopy like golden beams and fell on the ground—which was covered with wet mud which indicated rainfall just a while ago.

The forest was cool as breezes blew from time to time, and sounds of insects echoed through the area. It was a peaceful forest with snakes coiling on the trees, sounds of animals echoing through the forest.

The peaceful environment was broken suddenly by—thud, thud, thud— sound of heavy footsteps echoed through the area.

A slender man with long, disheveled blue hair, with sword scars all over his body, deep injuries that even showed his bones stumbled forward, he seemed to be a seventeen-year-old with below-average face—crooked nose, asymmetrical eyebrows, misaligned lips, square-shaped face.

As he took his laboured steps, a trail of crimson left behind him; blood dripped onto the muddy ground steadily from his injuries. His breathing came in heavy gasps, mud clung to his boots and mud splashed from his steps.

His vision blurred but he kept on moving, forcing himself. As he moved forward, he tripped over a small rock. He crashed to the ground.

He tried to stand up but he couldn't, as his arms and body gave out. But he pushed himself forward with his trembling hands.

Mud stuck to his body; his face was covered with it, his injuries—which were already painful became more painful due to mud, making him groan. The pain brought him back to consciousness, clearing his blurred vision.

He mused with a painful smile, "How pathetic my life is! I should have given up living this life."

He closed his eyes as his life flashed before him, taunting eyes of his clan members, cold look of his father, crying face of his mother.

Yun Che—he had been utter trash from his birth. He couldn't walk until the age of three and started speaking at the age of five.

He started cultivating at the age of six, with high expectations from his family mainly from his mother and father, but it was a disappointment.

He couldn't enter even the Mortal realm, making him a laughingstock among the clan. He was an utter disgrace to his parents.

No matter how much effort he put in, he couldn't start his cultivation path. He had lost his hope and he lived like a puppet, putting in effort daily but with no results.

He had given up hope of living until recently he found out that he had a Supreme body which was absorbing all his energy, making him unable to enter the path of cultivation. He finally understood that he wasn't useless.

After searching many methods and trying everything, he managed to awaken his supreme body.

Just when he was about to enter the cultivation path, he was filled with joy, but to his disappointment and another misfortune, he was spotted by a psycho young master.

Yun Che didn't know why, but once he appeared in his vision, he was after his life. He didn't even know his name; in truth, he hadn't even met him before.

As he lay down with disappointment and lost hope in his life, three young people appeared in his vision.

A handsome, striking young man who seemed to be around eighteen with sharp, straight nose, soft black eyes, and long hair tied with a male hairpin in a brocade purple robe appeared in the front—which showcased his rich status, and he was followed by two servants.

They wore plain white robes and they were not as decorated and smooth as the purple robe worn by the man in the middle.

Even their clothes screamed that they were his servants and he was the master. They all carried a sword at their waists.

"Kekeke. Looks like you have been caught. How about I give you another hour to escape? Or do you want to die now?" the young master asked, with a creepy laugh while holding his head with his right palm, looking at the heavily injured Yun Che on the ground through the gaps of his palm.

Hearing his words, the young man on the ground shouted recovering his remaining strength, "Who are you and why are you after me?"

"Who am I? I am Zhen Jie, young sect leader of Holy Sword Sect. My goal is to hunt lucky people like you," he stated with pride.

Zhen Jie—he was a psychopathic killer in his previous life. He liked to torture people brutally and then kill them, he feels a joy when someone suffers in front of his eyes.

He didn't know what problem his brain had, but he had psychopathic tendencies from his childhood in his previous life which continued to this life.

But he felt that it was a pity that the world in his previous life was covered by security and law. He couldn't go on massacring people left and right.

Though the world ran with law, he managed to kill people regularly, at short intervals, and he was not found. But his luck came to an end when he killed a child.

He also tortured the child brutally. It was his downfall, but it brought him major joy as that kid's death was his masterpiece from his new method of torture. Unfortunately, the child was a kid of a police chief.

The police chief made it his goal to catch him. And he did succeed. He found all the evidence of him being a psychopathic killer and all his murders.

But the police chief didn't arrest him like he expected, he killed him on the spot.

But it didn't matter. He got a new chance as he reincarnated in a world where power rules above everything. And he started to his second life more than first.

Not only that, he also had a powerful background behind him— Holy Sword Sect. After reincarnating in this world, he had killed and tortured more than a thousand people. To be precise, 1,476. And he likes when his victims struggle in front of him.

Even after killing thousands of people, there was not a single person who pointed a finger at him and questioned him. And this is what he likes about this world.

Everyone believed he was practicing his skills with people. So, from time to time, his parents and his servants would send some people for him to kill.

[ Ding!

A newly awakened child of destiny has very little luck. You have to kill him before his luck increases! ]

A system notification brought him back to reality from his memories.

'There it is, my cheat! The Psycho Villain System!' He mused happily reading the details on the panel, he then clicked on the panel for more details.

[ Yun Che

 Class: Son of Destiny.

 Luck Level: White

Luck Points: 110 ]

He then swiped the panel and looked at Yun Che, who had been gasping heavily, but this time, his vision changed.

Yun Che, who had been a normal person, had been changed to a person with the white aura surrounding him—this aura made Zhen Jie irritated.

He looked around the forest and asked the system, "Wouldn't a random person pop out to save the child of destiny whenever he's in trouble? Why is no one showing up?"

The system replied in a cold tone, "His luck is too low. When his luck increases, someone will show up out of the blue for sure, and to avoid this, you have to kill him before his luck increases."

He walked to Yun Che while unsheathing his sword—which had dried blood red marks of Yun Che's from before encounter; he then bent down and chopped his thumb off.

[ Ding!

You inflicted pain on Child of Destiny {Yun Che}

Luck +15 Villain points +100 ]

He was expecting screams of pain like his victims, but there was no sound, much less a scream.

Yun Che didn't even scream, he looked at Zhen Jie with dark red eyes and shouted, "Psycho, you won't get enjoyment by torturing me." And to top it off he spat at Zhen Jie's face.

Yun Che understood that Zhen Jie wanted to torture him, as he pierced his body in multiple areas before even though he could kill him in one strike and he even gave few hours to escape just like a cat playing with the mouse.

Zhen Jie got furious for the first time in this world and, in anger sliced off Yun Che's another finger, yet no scream of pain.

"Hahahaha," Yun Che laughed to cover his pain and to not let Zhen Jie get excitement.

"Aaa," Zhen Jie was pissed as he kept on slicing all the fingers, and at the end, he chopped off Yun Che's entire right arm. Blood splashed on the ground but laughter continued different from scream he expected.

Zhen Jie was shocked, utterly speechless, how can someone be laughing in this kind of situation.

No wonder children of destinies are incredible as always described in novels he read. Novels he read were not false as he did gain a system like they described.

Seeing that it was no use, he sliced off all the limbs of the child of destiny, "Laugh, keep laughing," He shouted as he placed his palm on Yun Che's chest and activated 'Body Devouring Scripture'—A supreme technique passed to him by the system in the novice pack.

A rune in the shape of a circle with three lines in between appeared in the air. Just looking at the rune, one could understand that it was a symbol of wind. That symbol directly went into Zhen Jie's body.

"So, it was my body after all," Yun Che muttered weakly as his vision blurred and he felt drowsy. He was utterly unlucky; he was targeted due to his supreme body which made his life pathetic from his birth.

He wanted to live, he remembered his mother, her hopes; his wish to became strong cultivator.

'Why! Why! Why did I gain Supreme body? All it did was make my life pathetic.' He wanted to cry but held back as he didn't want Zhen Jie to laugh as he lost his life —he finally died.

After getting the supreme body, Zhen Jie beheaded the already dead Yun Che's head, causing remaining crimson liquid to splash a little bit as his body already lost almost all blood. The moment his head fell to the side purple thunder flashed in the sky, and it kept roaring.

Boom!

Boom!

[ Ding!

You have killed the child of destiny—Yun Che. Luck+95. Villain points+1000 ]

[ Ding! You have acquired supreme Body {Broken}!

Yellow Wind Supreme Body {40%} ]

He then looked at the panels that popped in front of him.

"Luck, Villain points increased! nice. What? It is a broken supreme body. Why not 100%?" He asked the system since supreme body costs 1 trillion luck points and 100 trillion villain points.

It is easier to steal the child of destiny's body rather than buying it from the system.

System cut him down coldly "No one can perfectly steal supreme bodies; they are inherently protected by the Heavenly Dao; it was incredible that it can be stolen. Even a broken body was only possible due to 'Body Devouring Scripture', you should be happy."

System didn't forget to encourage its host, "Anyway it doesn't matter for now. You can comprehend wind Dao and absorb wind treasures to perfect your supreme body."

Hearing that it can be brought to perfection, he placed his right hand on his face and laughed. "Kekekeke."

The eerie grin brought shivers to the servants standing in the back.

Boom!

Boom!

The thunder kept roaring which annoyed Zhen Jie, he folded all his fingers on his right palm except for the middle finger, he slowly started to raise it pointing towards the sky.

But his body froze in the middle before he could complete the movement, as the system spoke to him in a freezing cold tone, "Dear Host, take back your finger, this isn't heaven you read in your novels, if you show that finger to the heavens, it will drop Heavenly Execution on you directly."

He calmly took back his finger as system gave back control. He knew about heavenly execution as he read about it in sect documents, he doesn't want a live demonstration on himself.

'I wonder if I can use it to torture people in the future.' He mused about inventing new kind of torture.

"Master, you didn't forget about Mu Chen, right?" A servant#1 interrupted not wanting to listen to their sect leader's laugh.

"Your Cousin had a marriage contract with him, she wanted your help in breaking the contract." Servant #2 continued, remembering the forgetfulness of his young master.

"Yes, I know, let's go and prepare for a new hunt. Let's hunt this Mu Chen." Zhen Jie licked his lips as he asked the system, "I want Mu Chen's details."

[ Ding!

It would cost 1000 luck points and 100,000 villain points.

Accept or reject? ]

"Tch!" He clicked his tongue at the cost, he doesn't want to spend that much.

He already collected some details about him, Mu Chen—most talented genius in Chu dynasty.

At the mere age of five, he already entered the mortal realm, but all of a sudden, he couldn't progress and his realm fell back to a normal person.

'Counterattack stream! Typical marriage break! bla! bla!' He mused and asked the system with small change, " I just want to know whether he is a child of destiny or not?"

[ Ding!

It would cost 10 luck points and 1000 villain points.

Accept or reject? ]

He paid 1000 villain points and 10 luck points as a new system panel popped up in front of him.

[ Mu Chen

 Class: Son of Destiny {Unawakened}

 Luck Level: Yellow

Luck Points: 10{Normal person}/Unawakened ]

'Should I torture this Mu Chen directly or let him increase his luck? This Yun Che was too boring,' Zhen Jie mused, while getting excited about his future victims, especially child of destinies, he wanted to make child of destiny scream like his ordinary victims.

He then started to plan to break his second destined child victim—Mu Chen.

End of Chapter.
