Chapter 1:

Upon the boundless sea, a colossal warship cuts through the waves, sailing without restraint.

The ship is incredibly large, its construction flawless in every detail, exuding an aura of overwhelming might.

A gigantic pirate flag flies from the mast, billowing in the wind. The flag clearly marks this as a pirate ship.

However, vast as this ship is, on the boundless ocean it's but a tiny speck, insignificantly small.

At the ship's bow, a boy of seven or eight sits, his black hair neatly combed, his thin frame and dark skin suggesting good health.

Beside him rests an antique longsword in its scabbard, longer than he is tall.

The boy sits with his chin in his hand, his expression unnaturally serious for a child his age.

"Little Akira, contemplating life again?"

A somewhat lecherous voice rings out from behind him. The previously serious boy's face instantly changes.

Without turning, he roars angrily, "You mangy bird, I've told you millions of times, don't call me that! Are you deaf?!"

The boy turns, revealing several figures before him, varying in height.

The foremost is a young man with spiky blonde hair, who looks at him with a teasing grin.

This is the one who spoke.

The blonde young man has a striking punk hairstyle, a purple vest open at the chest, daggers at his waist, and a tattoo on his chest matching the pirate flag.

"Oh, oh, oh, everyone look! Little Akira is angry! Little Akira is furious! Come and see!"

The punk-haired youth points dramatically at the boy, his exaggerated gestures eliciting laughter.

The boy grabs his sword, charging at the punk-haired youth, shouting, "Mangy bird, I'll fight you!"

But as he reaches the youth, he stops, his expression darkening. Blue flames erupt from the youth's body.

"Hey, hey, hey, Marco, are you being too underhanded? Using your Devil Fruit power against Little Akira?"

A tall man in a semi-open dark blue shirt with a white diamond stripe-pattern, a dark blue top hat, and curved mustache, carrying two swords at his waist, speaks up for the boy.

The punk-haired youth is Marco, and this ship is the Moby Dick, the flagship of the infamous Whitebeard Pirates of the New World.

Marco, engulfed in blue flames, smiles mischievously, "What do you know, Vista?

Little Akira said it himself, 'Even a lion hunts a rabbit with all its might.' I can't be careless either, right, Little Akira?"

Marco's last words are directed at the boy, whose expression is a mixture of anger, frustration, resentment, and helplessness.

Seeing this, Marco laughs even harder. The others watch their exchange with amusement, making no attempt to intervene.

Suddenly, the boy's face changes. He points behind Marco, shouting, "Hey, Pops, you're here!"

Marco turns, but sees nothing. In that instant, the boy thrusts his sword, scabbard and all, into Marco's abdomen.

"My, my, Little Akira, is that what you call a feigned attack?"

Marco turns, surprised but unfazed. He easily disarms the boy, pulls out the sword, and the blue flames on his wound quickly heal.

Marco examines the sword, puzzled. "Little Akira, you keep stabbing me with this little broken sword. Do you really think you can hurt me?"

The boy roars angrily, "Mangy bird, I've told you millions of times, that's not a broken sword, it's…"

Marco interrupts, "I know, I know. You've said it millions of times. It's your ancestral divine sword, but you don't even know its name, right? But I'm curious, where's your village from?"

The boy takes a deep breath, sighing sadly. "Marco, you're the most shameless person in the world! You're the disgrace of the Whitebeard Pirates! You're a rat in the rice, ruining our image! You're a waste of food alive, and a waste of land dead! If I were you, I'd find a rat hole and crawl in, saving yourself from further embarrassment. I don't know whose pants weren't fastened properly that let you out."

The boy's insults flow endlessly, causing everyone around to laugh… but the last sentence leaves them momentarily stunned, until one finally gets it.

"Pants weren't fastened properly, let you out, hahaha! Marco, hahaha, who let you out, hahaha…"

The future division captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, Jozu, points at Marco and bursts into laughter, eventually collapsing onto the deck, laughing uncontrollably.

Seeing Jozu, the other pirates finally understand, and react similarly, sitting and laughing wildly, some hugging each other in fits of laughter. The scene descends into utter chaos.

Marco, not a fool, understands the implication, his face turning as black as a pot. He roars angrily, "Little Akira…"

But when he looks again, the boy is gone, hidden behind the tall, imposing figure of a man with a large, crescent-shaped white beard. The boy is completely hidden behind his legs.

"Pops."

At the sight of the newcomer, all the pirates bow respectfully, their eyes filled with admiration. Marco is no exception.

"Little Akira, come here."

Marco dares not be insolent before this man, who is none other than Whitebeard, Edward Newgate, one of the three legendary pirates of the sea.

The boy scoffs, "Mangy bird, come and get me."

"You…" Marco fumes.

"Guhahahaha…"

Whitebeard bursts into his distinctive laughter, echoing across the sea.

"Marco, why do you always bother Little Akira? You're so big, you should let him be." Whitebeard lifts the boy onto his shoulder, looking at him kindly.

Marco grumbles, "Pops, you don't know how awful this kid is. How he insulted me! I, I, I… you guys are laughing again!"

His last roar is directed at the others, who are once again laughing uncontrollably.
