M.C P.O.V
I ran towards the downed tall metal dinosaur the moment I saw him. After reaching him, I put my hand on his neck to check for a pulse, finding it, I relaxed a little. I then began checking him for injuries, finding many all over his body, the worst of which was the large bite on his side. I ran back to my bags and brought them over, digging through them. Pulling out a small blue bottle I recognized from the games, hoping it had not gone bad, I sprayed it all over his body, making sure to get most on the larger injuries. Then I pulled out what looked to be medical wraps from the bags and wrapped the large wound.
After wrapping the wounds, I ran to the corpse and dragged it to the cave exit that I had come in from, getting to the cliff edge and kicking it down. Keeping a corpse nearby would attract scavengers, and in this world, that would be even more dangerous. After that, I went back to the bags, pulled out some paper towels, and cleaned off the blood. After doing that, I threw the bloody towels off the cliff as well.
I got back to the dinosaur and then pulled out jerky from the bag and started to have my first meal in this world. Finally letting my body and mind relax since getting here, with the taste of jerky and water, my mind started to wander. I had somehow been brought to a new world with a new body or an improved body. A world that was a game in my last life, god, I wish I had kept up with the series, I thought. I had played the first three gens but stopped when I got into high school. I knew there was also a show, but I never got into it.
The thought went through my mind, but I began organizing the items in the bag, thankful that I could do so now before getting into the forest. I put the items into five groups: one for pokeballs, one for medical supplies, one for CDs, one for clothing, and one for unrecognizable items. It took a good bit of time for me to get everything out of the bags. After doing so, I had four hills in front of me and eight pokeballs, the largest hill was the one made of CDs mostly because of their size. No idea why CDs are still a thing in this world, I mean they have balls that hold living creatures the size of a building, but they can't digitalize music. I was hoping for more pokeballs, but these eight were the only ones I found that weren't rusted or broken. They were all the same red and white ones that I used on the eggs, but these balls were different from the other red and white balls I found in the other bags. Other than not being rusted or broken, they were heavier than the other balls. I put the balls next to two other balls on my belt that I had gotten from the bags; for some reason, the balls were able to lock onto it but nothing else.
After locking the balls onto the belt, I moved to the hill of clothing. I first removed all of the underwear and female clothing. After that, I had a small hill in front of me. I folded them and put them back into the larger bag. I also found some notebooks in the bags as well, but they were written in languages I could not understand, so I put them to the side. I found a sleeping bag while going through all the clothes and put it aside as well. I also found a hand mirror, giving me a first look at my face in this world. I had spiky white hair, very pale skin, and blue eyes; my facial features were softer than in my last life, making me look more like a young girl than the boy I knew my body was. This also confirmed that this was not my body from the old world; that body had skin that was very tanned, eyes were brown, and hair was black. This body was also in much better shape than my old one, being fairly lean and more toned than my old one. The body is also a lot younger than my old one; I was 28 in my old world, but this body is around 7 or 8. I'm also wearing different clothes than I went to sleep in. When I went to bed, I was only wearing a pair of black shorts, but now I'm in a dark black t-shirt with long, baggy gray shorts.
After giving my new body the once-over, I moved on to the hill of medical supplies. They were all spray bottles like the ones from the game. They were different colors: there were 5 purple, 7 gold, 20 pink, 30 blue square ones, and 8 green square ones. Not sure what they all did other than the purple one; I assumed they were the better ones because of how few there were. And not knowing what the rest did, it was better to use them as little as possible to avoid any unknown side effects. After organizing them into the bag, making sure to put all into sides of the bag so that they were easily reachable.
I then went to the unrecognizable hill and started to move smaller items to one side and larger ones to the other. The first items I checked had the appearance of a CD player; there were 4 of them. I first thought they were CD players, but they were too small for the CDs that I found in the bags, so that was out. After opening them to see if any of them worked, but no luck, only a black screen for all of them. Throwing them back into the bag, I then moved on to the other items; one was a silver ring with a blue stone with a DNA double helix pattern. Thinking it was an unknown evolution stone, I put it into my pocket. The last of the smaller items was what looked to be a pair of smartwatches, one blue and one rose pink. Both were also either broken or dead, so I put them back into the bag, then I moved to the large items.
The first one was an item in the shape of a small square blender; after opening it, I found what looked to be jelly. Dumping it all out and cleaning it, I was able to get it working, stopping it and putting it back into the bag. The next item was a metal hat with yellow orbs stuck on top of it; it had an adjustable strap and what looked to be a disc drive. Assuming that it was some kind of headset for Pokémon, I put it back into the bag. I then moved on to the CDs, wanting to make it quick so I could go to bed; I just looked at the names. Good thing I did because the first CD shocked me; the name written on top of it was Ice Beam. That was one of the few moves that I remembered because I always used it on my teams as a kid. These weren't normal CDs; they were TMs. Getting out of my head, I put them into groups: ones that I knew and ones that I didn't and placed them back into the bag. After that, I pulled out the sleeping bag and fell asleep.
