Metal and I began to run at speed, hoping to get as far away from the Scyther's territory. It took us a few hours of running before we felt safe and slowed down to catch our breath. "Damn you, Metal," I said, punching Metal in the head, hurting my own hand more than Metal. "Sorry, Metal," Metal said, bowing his head. Not knowing what to say, I just sat down under the tree, and Metal did the same, getting some rest as well.
After a few minutes of rest, catching my breath, and drinking some water, I turned to Metal again. "How far are we from your father's clan?" I asked. Metal looked around for a second. "We should be another 5 days from them," he said. I nodded, threw him a water bottle, he caught it, drank it, and sat down next to me. "We should be out of the bug land in one more day and reach the drum clan," Metal said after sitting down. "What is the drum clan, Metal?" I asked, wanting to know as much as possible. "The drum clan is a subordinate of the fighting dragon clan. They can heal them and play drums during their ceremonies," Metal said. Okay, so they are subordinates of his father, then they shouldn't attack us.
"Are they dragons as well?" I asked. Metal shook his head. "No, they are a grass clan, but they are strong," he said. So they are grass types. I think they should be weak to fire, but they probably won't attack us. "They play drums?" I asked Metal. "Yes, father says that they play drums, and there is no clan on the island better than them. They make their own drums from woods as well, and they can heal people and make flowers bloom with their music," Metal answered. That sounds like most grass types, not healing, though. The only healing in the games was the potions, but it makes sense they would have a way to heal in the wild.

The two dragons made their way out of the bug clan area as I followed. Mother had told me to find the fighting dragon clans. But mother had forgotten to tell me where they were, and then I had come across the two brother dragons. They were going to the fighting dragon clan, and they were passing the grass clan area, so I would follow them. The older brother sounded like he did not know anything about the island, always asking the other brother about his father. The two brothers were different; one was small and long, while the other was small but short. The two brothers also felt different from each other; the older brother felt like air, free, unattached, like he could go anywhere. The other brother felt like a hill, heavy and small but growing larger.
The older brother must have been the child of the sky chief because he had her eggs on him, while the other brother should be the child of the fighting clan chief hunter. That was shocking. Mother had said that the chief hunter of the fighting dragon had many children. Mother even tried to have a child with him but was rejected because she did not catch his eye. That had angered mother so much that she had attacked him, but mother had lost to him handily. Mother then trained even more after that but never managed to get him to have a child with her. She could not understand that if mother loved him, why did she fight him, and how could someone reject mother? Mother was the most gifted member of the grass dragons on the island.
Grandmother had even said that if mother was on their home island, she could have been the chief. She had asked grandmother about their home island many times, and grandmother would tell her everything she could. That their home island was very far away across the water and that grandmother had come here because their trainer was searching for the fighting dragon clan. The fighting dragon clan was also from their trainer's homeland. But the ones on his island would not follow him, so he came here to see if any here would. Grandmother's trainer was not strong and died while he was on the island. So grandmother joined the grass dragon clan on the island and had a child with grandfather, which was mother. Mother was amazing, and she felt like an old tree, so powerful and unmoving.
Grandmother had said that her ability to sense had been better than hers. She had been blessed by Arceus with not only the sense of mind but also of body, but Arceus also took from her for those gifts. She was not born a dragon like mother and the older brother. She was also small, so small that she could not even see past the tree line. Grandmother said that it was not her fault that her feather was also like her, but that can't be true. Grandmother was one of the strongest dragons on the island. How could she be born of a non-dragon? The non-dragons were weak and only able to work with fairies to live on the island or serve the dragons. There had never been a lord of these islands that wasn't a dragon or a fairy, so how could grandmother's father be so weak?
The two dragon brothers had gotten up while I was thinking, following behind them and thinking back to everything she had seen since having to leave mother's side. Mother had sent her to find the fighting dragon clan because the grass dragon chief had decided that she was too weak to be a member of the clan. She was not a dragon and did not want to fight, so she could blame him. Grandmother had said that the fighting dragon chief hunter would help find a human to take care of her. Grandmother had told her about trainers, about how they were weak but could make us stronger faster. She did not want to fight, though she did not like the act of hurting others, so she thought there would be a chance that no human would take her.
Grandmother told her not to worry, she said that her talent in sensing and making things heavy, which was rare even for more powerful clans of the mind. So long as she showed those talents to humans, she could be welcomed to their team. She had also learned that the human could mistreat her, and if that were to happen, she couldn't let them know about her talent to move, and when they got off the island, to use it to run away. She hoped that did not happen, but she was ready in case she just needed to get to the fighting dragon clan.
