The wind was a cold wave, whooshing past the night and calm sky, as it sliced past the bodies of countless humans, causing many to shudder
On the feral district, a young man walked quickly, hands in his jacket pocket as he aimed to get to the house fast and quick.
After a few distance of walking, he arrived at a strange looking house or rather apartment. He scanned it for sometime but shrugged, as he made quick and precise steps on the apartment stairs as he soon arrived at his destination—Room 7
Ding! Dong!
It rang, but no voice.
Ding! Dong!
Ding Dong!
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding Dong!
"Hey! Who is it distrurbing this night" A voice finally came from inside, mighty and wild.. A bald and broad looking man, muscles showing and his raging eyes came out of the door, each step echoeing pride.
The young man raised his head to stare at this probably 6 ft5 figure before saying calmly
"I need to see her"
The broad man eyes scanned him with disgust as he responded quickly
"Is that why you had to make that much noise..hmph! You are lucky I care about her. If not your teeth would have been on the asphalt tonight" He responded with rage.
With that said the man turned around, leaving the door open as the young man entered.
The air inside the apartment was crisp with weed and the overwhelming smell of alcohol. The young man nearly gagged under it but he quickly held it in. He wasn't a fool.
The muscular man gestured for him to come this way and he followed quietly and calmly, perhaps the fear in his mind was still etched there. After some steps they arrived inside a small hallway, and then the man touched a door which then led to the opening of it.
Inside was sitted a woman, all flat faced and tired. Her eyes were swollen and her face radiated sadness and depression. The young man heart skipped a beat for a second but with a grit of his teeth he forced himself to walk up to her.
...…..
The memory replayed itself in a loop for the young man to see. He layed there, crimson red blood pooling from his body as it filled his surrounding. His broken armour was cold now.. after 2 hours wouldn't it be….
"To think it will end like this" The young man muttered to himself as he layed there. His eyes were all swollen, his skin was blistered with nothing but red and injuries filled his body. He looked broken, like how a child doll was after being used for all whims of the child. He looked used
"To think this is the life I fought to survive for… A life full of regrets…"
He wanted to die. He wanted to kill himself. But it was already happening. It was already the end.
"If I…..if I ever had a second chance…"
But these words never fully left his mouth, as his body gave away before he could finish it. The last gasp of a human air, escaped his lips as his body stilled, his end written in stone.
If maybe there was another chance…maybe he could finally live according to his dream…..
...
The city sky was blanketed by nothing but overwhelming blue. Ski-haven city and its inhabitants were constantly pierced through by the golden ray of sunlight, the massive and long skyscrapers doing little to shield them from the overwhelming assault.
In an apartment on blue little district, was a young man, dressed in a blue shirt and black trouser. His figure lay disorganised on the bed as soft golden rays of sunlight pierced through his window, revealing the perfect and captivating swirl of dust motes.
With a groan he slowly woke up, eyes groggy from the sleep as he rubbed his eyes with his hands…
Wait!
Suddenly the young man, rose up from his bed all startled as he began staring at his hands in disbelief.
"Wait! Wait! Wait!
This….
The young man was startled beyond reason as he observed his hands like he was some test subject, his brain struglling to take in the enormity of his situation.
"So…I was transmigrated or was I.." instantly he turned his head to look at his surrounding and after a few seconds of observing where he was, he let out a breath of relief.
"Thankfully I wasn't transmigrated…didn't want to be reborn in another world."
As soon as he said that, he sat down on his bed.
He stared at his feet, his mind thinking of his situation.
"I was regressed…but how? Who—"
Before he could finish his thought, a knock sounded at the door.
