Corruption isn't some monster hiding in the shadows. It's born from unfinished desires of people. And since human desire never ends, corruption always comes back. You can try to kill it, but it will just take another form, but it don't cause much problems but still needed to be balanced that's why God existed.
Not a god of faith, but a being created by nature itself. Its only purpose is to balance corruption, to manage the endless cycle of corruption before it destroys everything. But God couldn't completely destroy.
That's when I appeared.
I had no name, so let's just call me kaien. I was born human—ordinary, unwanted. Nobody cared whether I existed. But my existence there are cracks starts to appear between dimensions of different universes. due to which even those being/items that are not corrupted starts to drifted to one universe to another. Until I met her.
She saw me. Spoke to me. Treated me like I mattered. For the first time, I felt something close to happiness.
But then, she died.
That's when it began. I didn't rage. I didn't cry. I just... broke. My mind twisted. My soul corrupted. I began to corrupt but not like others, I was still human. But the corruption didn't grow around me; it grew inside me, from my own feelings.
That's what made God notice me.
I was the first corruption still is a human form. A walking paradox. And maybe, the only one who can completely destroying corruption.
So, God approached me to offer a choice.
"You've corrupted nature that could delete corruption completely… something even I can't do. So I offer you this:
You'll enter an loop of infinite possibilities. she is destined to die in every possibility, but in a single possibility she survived.
If you are able to find that one possibility, you'll be free to live. But if you fail, you'll help me destroy corruption, forever."
I agreed. And thus began my endless journey.
