Chapter 20 - Stuck together

Hôtel Les Saisons Ramenées, room 507.

Nellie's husband, Ralph D'Arcy who took her last name slept soundly on the bed half naked with only his boxers on. Eli, Leon, Charlie and Amos Evans were all standing behind Nellie as she begun the ritual.

"I will only be able to give us a 1 minute window."

Amos said while approaching the window and glancing at the rain outside. He slowly raised his hand. Nellie already set up a simple altar.

"The lonely spirit that wanders through the upper realm."

"The friendly creature thats weak but patient."

"The messenger that belongs to Nellie D'Arcy."

Amos clenched his raised hand into a fist and the rain outside began slowly dissapearing. The walls turned black into cotton as a bunch of pitch black thin arms rose from the floor. Charlie quickly wrote down a note and threw it to the army of hands which grabbed the letter and slowly dissapeared.

This letter was to be dropped outside a nighthawks base.

...

West borough, 9 AM. Scout security company.

"Where is Charlie? He should have been here three hours ago!"

Two female nighthawks were talking about Charlie who worked in the same security company as them. This wasn't just a normal security company, but an cover for a nighthawks team. This was the place Charlie worked at.

"I just hope captain doesn't get angry again and give everyone extra work..."

Out of nowhere a bunch of pitch black arms appeared on the ceiling and dropped down a letter. The two nighthawks backed off quickly and leaped back. One took out her revolver and shot, but the arms were already gone.

The two cautiously approached the letter and opened it. They slowly read the letter before dropping it to the floor.

...

"Mr Amos, how were you able to do that?"

Amos smiled at Leon's question and shook his head.

"Its called deceit young man. You will understand in the future."

Deceit... deceiving the time loop?

Leon was taken aback but didn't linger on it. Instead him and Eli left and went back to their rooms. Charlie stayed behind with Amos Evans and Nelli D'Arcy.

"The ritual, it wasn't just that summoning of the messenger right? I could feel the difference in atmosphere the instant I entered the room. A believer of a hidden entity?"

Nellie stared at the mirror and watched the way her lips moved.

"My lord, the First Philosophy will save us all... I swear it. We will be saved."

Amos had a faint smirk on his face while Charlie had a more serious expression. He grabbed Nellie's shoulder and deepened his voice.

"Once this is all over... im turning you and the others in!"

Charlie looked up to see Amos was gone. It was only him and Nellie in a room alone. Her hair began floating up while she chanted a name. Nellie's entire body burst into fire and she stood up, she raised one hand, the fingers growing long before she swiped at Charlie. Charlie took a step back and pulled out a slumber charm from his pocket and threw it at Nellie. Ralph woke up after listening to the ruckus and found the whole room up in flames, the fire caught on his skin and he screamed out in pain. Charlie and Nellie were already in the hallway. Leon and Eli turned and saw the fiery woman run through the hallway like a madman while chasing Charlie.

Leon sprung into action and entered his room, he grabbed a small table and came back out chucking it at Nellie D'Arcy. The table crashed against her face causing her to fall down. The entire hallway had caught onto fire.

S-shit the people!

It was too late though, he couldn't run through the fire and save them. Charlie took out a small bell and rung it. out of nowhere a large blue bull appeared, a bull that rushed towards the fire and trampled over Nellie's body. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she stood up once more.

Eli grabbed the love puppet and took it out the box. Nellie felt onto her knees worshipping the so called First Philosophy. Leon's anxiety went above and beyond. He wanted to puke and run away. Charlie was already in the elevator shouting towards the two.

"GET IN!"

eli stuff the love puppet into the box and slapped Leon, snapping him out of his anxious state. The two made it into the elevator and took it to the first floor.

Ding!

The three rushed out and looked up, Nellie jumped off the fifth floor and dived down to the first. The employees were confused until they see a ball of fire hit the first floor. Nellie's entire body had burned off, to top it off she let out a blood curling scream. Leon rushed to the kitchen while Eli and Charlie attempted to hold off Nellie...

Charlie took out his gun and shot towards her head multiple times. Suddenly Nellie stood on her toes and began performing a disturbing ballet dance, but mixed into her ballet were kicks aimed at Charlie. Charlie somersaulted away and pulled the trigger once more blowing off Nellie's calf, but that didn't stop her. A scream came from the fifth floor and someone dropped to the ground. 45 year old Ruben Hill. His most notable feature were the extra pair of arms and blue eyes. His black hair had already almost been burned off completely. There were thorns all over his head that made him bleed. Nellie turned around and run towards Ruben with a open mouth.

She attempted taking a bite off his face!

An eerie stillness took over the place, the rain outside was gone, it was a sunny morning in backlund. When Leon and Eli felt this difference they left Hôtel Les Saisons Ramenées as quickly as possible. Someone stood there in the lobby with four others behind him.

He had very short golden-brown hair, and blackish-green eyes that were as dark as a forest on a moonless night. He was dressed in s black windbreaker and white linen shirt. The collars of his clothing hid the entire of his chin. In his hand was a pure white bone short sword.

A high ranking deacon from the church of the Evernight Goddess. Crestet Cesimir.
