Amidst the sea of flames Crestet Cesimir was facing off Ruben Hill. The other nighthawks moved swiftly in order to take down Nellie.
Ruben Hill stared at the bone sword in Crestet Cesimir's hands and lunged forth in order to grab him, the moment his hand was in close range he missed.
One of the powers of the goddesses sword was to give the target bad luck. Ruben Hill's body shook and his eyes slowly closed...
When he snapped awake he found himself back in front of his home in Segar.
A small hut in a grass field away from society. Slowly Ruben approached the door to go outside. When the door opened a woman in deep dark robes stood there, her eyes covered by a blindfold. The entire ground in a 50 meter range began to tear off from the earth itself and float up to the dark sky.
Thack!
Ruben Hill was kicked right in the chest and was sent flying through two different walls, befire he could land on the ground hair entangled around his ankles and pulled him back.
An amulet appeared before his eyes. An amulet with a skull on it, spikes shot out every pore of his body.
"The water holds the sky's embrace, a mirror soft a dreaming face."
It felt like being tucked away by your own mother, a feeling Ruben really enjoyed when he was younger.
A bone sword was drawn from the darkness, landing in the woman's hand. The moment she swung the sword of darkness a tide of darkness surged, a tide symbolising danger. Such an attack could be prevented, but Ruben Hill wasn't ready, he couldn't even think straight in order to use his powers that were granted to him.
The Archbishop stared at Ruben's body that barely clung to life. She wasn't planning on killing him, not at all.
A murder of crows flew over the hotel that was completely engulfed in flames. Leon ran as fast as he could to escape the danger behind him. Many gathered around to watch the spectacle, they gathered around as though it was a campfire.

Sunday, 4PM. Broken Axe Lane.
Eli sipped on a cup of Sibe black Tea, something he's not used to... drinking such cheap tea. His eyes darted around the cheap house Edward was renting. 10 Soli a week plus two extra for the use of furniture.
How do people like him live in such horrible conditions? The smog here is terrible.
Eli thought while staring at a particular plant by the window sill.
Finally Edward Morgan sat down infront of him grooming his growing beard. Edward Morgan was the name Eli knew him by.
"So, Mr Edward Morgan, I doubt that's your real name but now we are partners in crime."
Edward Morgan rolled his eyes and took a sip from his own cup.
"So, why not tell me what "Contracts" i stole. I think if we want to keep this partner ship you will have to keep me up to speed, not in the dark."
Eli took another sip and crossed his legs. He was wearing a white linen shirt and brown pants.
"Share certificates, without these Warren can't prove his owner ship of a lead factory my father wants to purchase. Let's just say they are rivals. Warren already sent someone after my mother once, that's why I became a beyonder of the Seer pathway... to make sure she stays safe."
Eli slid over 20 pounds, placing the cash on the coffee table. Pounds are paper-based but are guaranteed by gold and pegged directly. Leon stared at the money with a bit of greed before fixing his posture.
"So what's next? I mean when is my next job Mr Eli?"
After finishing his tea Eli stood up and took his coat off the rack, slowly putting it on.
"For now we lay low... I have other matters to attend to, like becoming a sequence 8 and helping out my father. Once I gain a messenger I'll contact you, Mr Edward."
As soon as he finished he left and even looked a bit relieved to leave the house. Leon took the money and stuffed his pockets with it before also getting up. He had to hold a "meeting" after all!
...
It was almost 6, leon took a seat on his bed, the moment his rear touched the mattress almost all the waste inside his bowels shot out. Leon ran towards the bathroom and took off his pants urgently before taking a seat. Time ticked by and he glanced at the pocket watch he carried with him, 5:56.
He shook his head and closed his eyes. Leon's hands moved subconsciously, his index fingers pressing against his closed eyes with painful force. When he opened his eyes he was back at the church.
Leon changed his appearance as quickly as possible, luscious long golden hair and a beautiful cut face. Since he still had some time he decided to summon two books before him. Each book had a different cover, the first depicting a thief and the second a skull, each book had nine pages in it, but only the first page was filled in both books. These were the potion formulas for marauder and corpse Collector.
I plan on collecting all the formulas, after all im supposed to be a powerful god... shit an honorific name!
Deities had honorific names, and one as lofty as him should have one too.
But it was already late. Leon glanced at the spot where that man sat down previously and noted the transparent figure that was frozen in prayer sit there. He reached out and his entire view changed, he was suddenly inside of some small two floor house on a hill. Infront of him was a youth patiently waiting.
The instant the clock strikes 6 Morris feels his body become light and his mind wander. Before he knew it he was sitting on a pew infront of a sanctuary, the primordial light stood infront of him with a smile. The voice echoed through the church.
"Let's begin..."
