A soul floating in the emptiness of a void. Aware but time seemed to not register.
"How long has it been minutes? Hours? Days?" The souls ethereal voice casted out echoing.
"Interesting." A deep voice responded. Shaking the soul to its core.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" The soul demanded. His reply was a cold laugh.
"Interesting indeed. A soul with enough strength to exist here is nearly impossible to find. In fact only one other has ever appeared before me." The voice continued ignoring the souls query.
"A gift. Yes a gift must be given. New life I will give you and entertainment you will return. Live your new life as you please in a world familiar with a few perks." The voice said and the soul could feel a suction from behind him and he disappeared in a flash of light.
In the void the being's form slowly materialized. A young man with glowing yellow eyes smiled.
"To think the one to come here was descendent to that man. The resemblence is insufferable." With that the man turned and evaporated into darkness.
