Aya Geiger had lived in the only house nestled deep within the forest for over ten years. On her twelfth birthday—just as dull as any other day—she stumbled upon a teenage boy lying alone by the lake, soaked to the bone and barefoot. It wasn’t long before Aya remembered that the forest surrounding her home was enclosed by a high-voltage wire fence.
