Chapter 1 - Restart

Ugh...where is this?

She opened her eyes to find herself in a vast white space. The light surrounding her was so blinding that she had to squint just to see anything at all.

Not far away stood a white throne, and seated upon it was someone—no, something.

The figure noticed her gaze and spoke.

"Come here."

Suddenly, as if her body had been possessed, it began to move on its own.

Still bewildered by what was happening, she had no choice but to watch as her feet carried her toward the throne. Only when she stood before it did her movements finally stop, allowing her to clearly see the one sitting there.

A boy with a youthful appearance with iridescent eyes and silver hair. He wore a loose fitting white robe , and a mischievous expression was seen in his face as if he about to pull a prank at any moment.

…Beautiful.

She couldn't help thinking that. As someone who adored beautiful things, she had to admit it—the boy before her was stunning enough to "bring a nation to ruin," just as the saying went.

"Hahaha… you really are an interesting human."

His laughter snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Y-you… you can read my mind?" she stared at him in disbelief.

She was certain now—this being was no human. If she had to guess, then he was a—

"Yep. I'm what you humans call a God."

Before she could finish her thought, he said it himself.

"And yes, I can read your mind," he added shamelessly.

"Hey! Don't you know it's rude to read someone's mind without permission?!" she protested.

God or not, that was still rude.

"Well, what can I do?" the god replied lightly. "You're so weak that even if I don't try, your thoughts just leak out."

"T-That's—!"

"Enough of that," he interrupted. "Isn't there something more important you should be asking right now?"

Right.

She took a deep breath, finally remembering the most important question.

"So… why am I here?"

"The reason you're here is because you're already dead."

The answer she had only dared to think was spoken aloud by him.

Truthfully, the moment she opened her eyes, she had already suspected it. Either this was a dream… or she was dead.

Still, hearing it confirmed left a bitter feeling in her chest. Her family, her friends—how were they reacting to her death? She hoped they were doing okay.

And she hadn't even seen the ending of the anime she was watching. There were manga she loved that were finally getting anime adaptations soon…

Ah… thinking about that almost made her want to cry.

But surely, God didn't bring her here just to say that.

She focused on what he said next.

"You died from a sudden heart attack in your sleep."

A heart attack… huh. That was unexpected.

"But when I looked at your life," he continued, his tone suddenly irritated, "I couldn't help but sigh in pity. How could someone like you waste your talent like that?!"

"…Pity?"

She was confused.

Sure, while she was alive, she often thought things like 'I should've chosen that instead,' or 'Why did I say that when it's not what I meant?' Regret had followed her throughout her life.

But wasn't that normal? Didn't everyone feel that way?

The god glanced at her and sighed again.

"Forget it. Even if I explained, you wouldn't understand."

"Which is why I've decided to give you another chance."

"…Another chance?"

"A chance to reincarnate in another world."

Her ears practically perked up.

"Yes, reincarnation—just like in the anime and comics you love."

With a wave of his hand, three images appeared in the air.

"…Ah!"

She gasped when she recognized them.

One Piece.Pokémon.Naruto.

"The worlds you see are real," the god explained. "Over countless years, people yearned for these stories to exist. Their prayers, their beliefs—they turned into reality, and these worlds were born."

"They are no different from the world you came from."

"Among them, these three are the most stable. However, since they were shaped by anime, manga, and games, many events may differ from what you know."

He looked at her calmly.

"So, have you decided where you want to go?"

She was still reeling from the explanation, but she began to think seriously.

Hmm... among those world there are several person that i really want to see in person. Like Gaara in Naruto or Shanks and Mihawk from One Piece . But those worlds were dangerous. Chaotic. The chances of dying there were far too high.

Pokémon, on the other hand…

While Pokémon could be dangerous, she could also have Pokémon of her own, a companions who could protect her.

That felt safer.

"I see you've already decided," the god said, reading her thoughts.

"Yes," she replied, meeting his gaze. "I want to go to the Pokémon world."

"Good. Since you've made your choice, we'll begin immediately."

He waved his hand once more, and a wave of drowsiness washed over her. Her eyelids grew heavy.

"Ah, before you go," his voice echoed faintly, "I've included a few things you might need. Don't forget to check them."

His voice faded, and darkness gently claimed her as she drifted into sleep once again.
