In legends, there exists a realm beneath the Earth where demons lurk. Little do people know that it's not make-believe. Some people call it the Underworld, some call it Hell, but some call it... the Nether.
It is where all kinds of creatures and beings from different myths exist, or shall I say banished by the Holy One due to their imperfections and betrayal. Even though they found a way to go to the human world, everyone in the Nether have come to accept that it is their new home. It is like Earth beneath the Earth. There are bodies of water and land. The inhabitants have their own countries and each of them are governed by their own monarch or monarchs.
In the Nether counterpart of the Philippines which the locals call "Maharlika", there was a recent insurgency led by Dakila, a vile aswang, and his followers. They were successful in overthrowing and eliminating the aswang royal family from Biringan City, the capital city of Maharlika.
With Dakila being the new king of Biringan, many of the Tikbalangs, Kapres, Engkantos, and other creatures of Biringan City have been living in fear and anxiety because they believe the Aswang royal family ruled the city properly, but now, they're not sure whether they get to live another day or not under Dakila's rule.
Since then, more monsters have been breaching the barrier that separates the Nether and the human world. Now, it's up to the humans to fend off the monsters and make sure the barrier doesn't collapse completely. Otherwise, it will mean the end of the world.
