'Although I did notice the truck rushing towards me.
...
Yet I didn't move an inch. Maybe it was because I was panicking, but I knew deep down the actual reason was..
...
I didn't want to'
*SCREEEECH*
The loud sound of tires stopping on the road brought everyone's attention towards me. Seeing a miracle being performed just infront of their eyes of how a person who was about to die now was just saved by the edge. A true miracle!
But the person who was blessed with such miracle was the least bit interested in everyone's gaze. Neither was he affected by the truck driver's constant slander. Nor the heat which was radiating from infront of the truck which was just few feet from his face. This was because...
His whole attention was focused on someone else. Someone who had came just at the right time, just infront of him, spreading her arms as if that would've stopped the bus.
'Is she stupid? Why the hell she got in between? Was she trying to act like a hero or something and save me? Nah no way she would've known the bus would have stopped just at the right time. So did she have a death wish? Does she also want to off herself? No but then...'
All his attention was brought back instantly by..
"ARE U FUCKIN STOOPID?!!?!"
Well extreme shouting.
"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH OR SOMETHING?!"
.
.
.
'Huh?'
At this point, I wasn't able to think straight and my legs really gave up as I fell down on my buttocks. I could see other people from the street coming to help me.
"Pheww~"
The girl infront of me exhaled. Now that I looked at her properly, I realized she was a very pretty girl.
She was wearing a sleek, body-hugging white slip dress that flowed smoothly down her figure, paired with a light beige, open-front knit cardigan with loose sleeves. The outfit blended elegance with a soft, casual touch. She had a curvy, slender figure with a narrow waist, fair skin, short dark hair, and expressive eyes that gave her an elegant yet graceful presence.
'A familiar face yet I can't remember who she was.'
I was unable to take my gaze of her eyes. Those mesmerizing hazel eyes, I had seen many but she was the first one to make me love them.
While everyone's attention was on me, I suddenly heard a loud horn.
*HOOOONNK*
*BANG* *CRASH*
Another truck had crash behind the first one. It happend so quickly I wasn't even able to warn them.
*BOOOM*
I remember by body spreading across the road like when a jam is put on a bread. I couldn't even see what happen to others.
'Aah fuck. Even now I was a liability.'
'They must've died too. I just hope some of them can recover. All because of me. There was no reason for them to die this way, they were just helping me, yet because of me...
'Mannn...my life sucked anyway. I was going to die in a few months so I'm glad it happend soon. But I hope.....that if there's a heaven, they all go to it..... Cause I know for sure I won't be allowed there.'
The scene was chaotic with debris scattered, trucks in disarray, and possibly hazardous cargo spilling. Immediate reactions from bystanders and other drivers began, but the ambulance had not yet arrived. The area was already showing signs of severe disruption and danger.
'Ahh...I'm definitely ending up on those insta reels'
This was my last thought before dying.
