"Good evening to every single one of you" the man began
"We've gathered here once again, to witness the birth of a new set of Hunters"
"A new set of soldiers and guardians who will usher our world into a new era of peace and balance"
"Today, we witness the birth of history and mystery alike"
"To the candidates" he paused for a few seconds before continuing.
"The future of this world is you and it's preservation is of utmost importance to us"
"That is why we're here today to set you on the right course"
"to sail the seven seas and roam the seven continents"
"protect the weak and defend the innocent"
"No matter what happens today, remember we're all protectors and guardians of this world, irrespective of our power and position"
"We're the faceless Heroes"
"The unsong men through whose sacrifice the world still stands today"
"And know that a true hero doesn't need recognition; their courage is written in the lives they change, and their names echo through eternity"
The man concluded his speech as several applause's reverberated through the night all over the western continent.
The world, Altlantis was the main resource hub for the people of Ferun.
People who had passed the awakening test would usually train form a few months to control their newly awakened powers before joining any institution they desired with their profession before they could join a guild or form a group where they would undertake first missions to Atlantis.
Most people usually preferred joining the Western Alliance Academy because it was the biggest in the Western continent and it came with a lot of benefits but sadly not everyone could pass the test to enroll in the academy.
When it came to hunting in Atlantis or undertaking missions, many people preferred joining guilds or forming groups than going alone because it came with a lot of benefits. People who had poor backgrounds depended on these guilds to clear missions, receive and consume beast cores to raise their ranks and also purchase weapons.
Atlantis is an ancient destroyed world that was refurbished by Eroye, the God of Gamez after the end of the 100 year war.
It served as a training grounds and a resource hub for the people of Ferun to train and increase their strength to serve as protectors of their world and also help rebuild their world. Although several organizations and kingdoms had built their bases in Atlantis, it was mostly meant for people to stay in times of adventures when they came across it.
Atlantis was a very beautiful yet mysterious amd dangerous world. It held some of the most dangerous beasts in the multiverse which the God of Games had personally handpicked in his creation of Atlantis.
Many people had entered there and not lived to tell their tale. Both the most strongest and weakest. And as the candidates numbering in hundreds lineup in front of the podium, many of them felt both excitement and anxiousness build up in them, just by thinking of this mysterious world.
The first candidate climbed the erected stage and placed his right hand on a flowing orb as was instructed. A few seconds later, series of text began to appear on the large crystal screen. The crowd quieted down as the last and most awaited information appeared.

Profession: Earth Mage
The shouts of the boy broke the silence as the crowd in turn broke into cheers.
"He's soo lucky" A woman commented
"How long has it been since we last had an elemental magician?"
"And we're even talking about an Earth mage"
"Surely he'll be among the Prodigies of his generation"
Several similar comments were passed around as the next candidate climbed the Podium to take his test.
A few minutes later, the boy shouted out in joy as his profile screen showed a high level skill.
Several other candidates took their turn in awakening their professions.
Some left the podium with wide smiles on their faces while others left with sad and disgusted looks.
Clearly, those who wore the bad looks did not make it up to what they were expecting.
One by one, it was finally Lucian's turn.
The entire town of Frosgate fell into silence as a younger boy with long silver hair waked slowly onto the podium.
Although they won't admit, a lot of people had deep down been waiting for Lucian's turn to take the test. As a the youngest member of the Veyrath Family and one of the most powerful families in the the Heldin Kingdom, a lot of people had higher expectations for him.
"Place your hands on the floating orb young lord" The slim man from earlier said, with a respectful tone.
Lucian nodded, took in a deep breath and placed his hands slowly onto the shining orb. Anna and Mailie held unto each other tightly, as they unconsciously recited the same prayer to every God willing to listen to them.
The man made a hand gesture and Lucian felt a brief wave of shock spread t through his entire body.
Just then, series of texts began to appear on the screen as the boy stared blankly and anxiously at it. But unknown to everyone, Lucian was not starring at the screen. He was reading the texts that had began to appear in front of him.

Just then, Lucian lost consciousness as he fell face flat onto the stage.
Aaron immediately appeared beside the boy and turned him on his back facing his pale face.
All the people had their eyes glued on both the large screen and the boy on the floor as they thought that was the reason for his fainting.
