Chapter 1 - The Kingdom of Broken Stars –

Part 1: The Falling Light-

Long ago, the sky was full of stars that never moved.

They shone like silent guardians over the Kingdom of Elyndor, watching over its rivers, mountains, and people. The elders used to say that each star held a soul—ancient, powerful, eternal.

But one night, a star fell.

And everything changed.

Aren Vale had never believed in stories.

At seventeen, he cared more about surviving than legends. Living in the lower district of Elyndor meant long days, empty pockets, and little hope. Dreams were for nobles, not for boys like him.

Still… that night felt different.

The air was warm, yet a strange chill ran through his body.

He looked up.

And saw it.

A streak of light tore across the sky.

Bright. Blinding. Alive.

It wasn't like a shooting star.

It was slower.

Heavier.

As if the sky itself was breaking.

"Did you see that?" a voice called.

Aren turned to find Mira running toward him, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Of course I saw it," Aren said. "The whole sky just fell apart."

Mira laughed nervously. "That wasn't normal. We should go after it."

Aren raised an eyebrow. "Go after it? You think a falling star just lands and waits for us?"

"Yes," she said simply.

Aren sighed.

Mira had always been like this—curious, fearless, and slightly reckless.

But something inside him stirred.

A feeling he couldn't explain.

"Fine," he said. "But if we die, I'm blaming you."

Mira grinned. "Deal."

They followed the trail of light beyond the city walls, into the forbidden fields where no one dared to go after dark.

The ground there was strange—cracked, glowing faintly as if something beneath it was alive.

"Do you feel that?" Mira whispered.

Aren nodded.

The air was humming.

And then they found it.

A crater.

Still smoking.

At its center… something glowed.

They stepped closer.

Carefully.

Slowly.

And then—

Aren stopped.

"Wait…"
