Love often arrives unexpectedly and without explanation. But what can the unsuspecting Etheena Aihley Sy do when she is suddenly enveloped with not just familial love but also a full-blown friendship, affection, and romance?
Etheena lives her life simply and with contentment, despite having been an orphan since the age of two.
You might wonder, "Why?" The answer lies in the memories her parents left behind, the love of her grandparents who, while living a modest life in the suburbs, provided her with everything she could have wanted, and her best friend Zyl, who entered her life during her hardest times. They have supported each other ever since childhood.
Excerpt:
He looked lovingly at the woman in his arms and gently said:
"Would you believe it, if I told you that, during the time I saw you basking in the daylight, I almost couldn't help myself and ask for your hand?"
The woman in his arms shook her head slowly, her gaze filled with questions.
He then added with sincerity, "But it's true!" he said with a smile full of love while softly caressing her hair.
The woman just lovingly rolled her eyes at him, not believing his words, then slowly closed her eyes, trying to take an afternoon nap in his arms.
Allowing her to do so, he lovingly observes the woman in his arms, almost dripping with overflowing love for her.
This woman was his everything: his world, his love, his life, and his wife.

During a school outing, the students gathered around a bonfire for a fun game night, joining all the first-year high school section A students, teachers, and some senior students. During the truth or dare game, someone shyly asks Etheena, “Etheena, have you ever been in love before? Do you have an ideal type?”
Etheena then replied, “No, I haven’t yet.” She then thinks about it seriously and proceeds by saying, “I also do not think I had an ideal type for a man. For me, love comes naturally without looking for it, whether it is the love for family and friends, or the right ‘One.’ If it is meant for you, it is meant for you.” She then said dreamily and passionately, “When the ‘One’ arrived, I'm 100% sure about him and married him right away.”
One of her classmates then asked again, “How would you know that he is the One? And how could you say so? How sure are you?”
Etheena said teasingly, “I just know!” without further explanation.
“What a boomer!”
“I can’t believe I fell for that, Etheena, I thought you were finally being serious hahaha”
“Yeah, right! How could Etheena be serious? Shouldn’t you two date first and then be engaged? hahaha”
Her classmates initially sound upset, but they eventually laugh it off after hearing her response. Although everyone reacts with amusement, three individuals respond differently: the first feels confident, the second feels passionate, and the third feels heartbroken.
Let’s follow Etheena’s journey and see how she navigates these full-blown emotions.
