Chapter 1 - the beginning 1

Morning has come. It is time to wake up and begin another day without a goal. Once again, we walk along the path of life—a straight line heading toward an unknown destination.

"Let's start another day."

Some people may laugh, others may play… but is there any human who truly knows the edge of madness?

"Kid is my name, and there is no escaping that truth. But am I Kid… or is Kid me?"

Another day. The truth lies in the fact that humans are not equal. But is the principle really the same? I was not born handsome, nor intelligent. Even in sports, I am a failure. Yet I have returned from the edge of madness many times.

As golden rays of sunlight sneak into the room, Kid slowly opens his eyes with great heaviness.

"I really don't want to wake up… not again."

Despite his complaints, he slowly gets up. He washes his face, eats breakfast, and now he waits for the bus to take him. It is truly the same routine as always—nothing new.

But what he hates most is not the repetition… it is the hell called school.

The bus arrives. It is crowded with passengers, but he manages to find a seat in the back corner. The air is fresh and the sun is warm. For a moment, the world falls silent, and Kid sinks into his thoughts.

"When did this really begin… another world… power… it's truly unbelievable."

Kid's thoughts are in complete chaos, and he is now trying to organize them. The boy has suffered—age made no difference. He has suffered since the softness of his early childhood, and now it repeats again.

The boy's memories gather, and the story begins.

"Hey ugly, you're not welcome here. Why don't you just leave? Weak and ugly—what's the point of your existence?"

That was Jade, one of the people who enjoyed turning his days into hell.

"Is it because I'm better than you in school? You're the one causing trouble… j-just go away. Leave me alone."

Jade could not accept that the weaker person would answer him back—let alone speak the complete truth so directly.

"You don't know your place. I'll show you how things really are."

Jade attacked the weak boy, Kid. He kept striking him, aiming repeatedly at his face. The boy could not defend himself. He was brutally beaten—no one would recognize him in that state.

He was left lying on the ground, barely conscious.

In a moment filled with denial and self-hatred, his pain and anger surpassed all limits. The world went silent. All he could hear was complete stillness.

Anger. Sadness.

"If only I could start over… I would fix everything."

The bitter reality carved itself into the boy's soul with fingers of fire, affecting him the way darkness affects light.

Finally, the bus arrived at the school.

And it was time for hell to begin.
