Since the beginning of time, the Kan Domain has had no true Deity to guard it. Because of that, it has never known peace. Power shifts hands through blood and betrayal, and every ruler falls the same way. Its creator, Nirvana Kan, failed his fifth Nirvana Tribulation and was forced back into the Life and Death Cycle. With no master to anchor it, the Domain became a prize. To protect it, the Domain was hidden deep inside the Primordial Sea, sealed away so other Nirvanas could not seize it. But hiding it did not stop the invasions. Forces from the Sea found ways in, carving at the Kan Realm piece by piece. Watching the chaos, the Master of the Primordial Sea finally said, "Enough." He chose a native of the Kan Domain, an ordinary soul born into a broken world, and granted him a fraction of Primordial Qi. It was not mercy. It was a gamble. "Turn your world around," the Master told him, "or watch it drown."
