As Roku and Pakura were jumping through the tree he looked down at the paper Kushina gave him.
A warrant to leave the village for as long as possible, stamped by the 3rd Hokage. He smiled, 'She must have annoyed the old man to death to get this'.
The warrants were 2 parted, one part was given to the gate guards and the other was kept for when you returned, and in the case of losing it all you had to do was get a copy of the one given to the guards.
He put it away in his bag and looked at Pakura, "We won't stop on the way to the border. I want to get to Grass and leave fast."
Pakura nodded, a long journey wasn't a problem for her after all she could travel for days without rest.
A Village near the Grass Border
The two of them had arrived at a hot spring village close to the Grass Ninja Village. They had chosen to rent out a room at a hot spring inn.
As two arrived at the rooms Pakura began to glare at him, "If you peek while i am bath i will gut you"
Roku scoffed, "Who do you think I am? Peeking! Disgusting"
Pakura went silent and felt a little bad for accusing him until he continued, "I'll join you loud and proud why would i need to hide and peek"
Pakura glared and tried to hit him but he dodged, "I'll kill you if you dare!"
Roku walked into the house and teased her, "I am your master and you are my servant! Its only right that you help me bath"
Pakura blushed hard and glared at his back, she then threw the bag at his head. But he dodged it easily and gave her a teasing smile.
After cooling off her anger Pakura walked in and saw that Roku had already sat down, she then sat down too. "So what's the plan Roku?"
Roku smiled at her, "Just look around the village and enjoy yourself I'll go around and look for info"
Pakura stared at him in surprise "That's it?".
Roku nodded, "Yes we need to get rest before we act"
That Very Night
As Pakura was hard asleep when she heard knocking on her door. "Open up its me Roku!". She got up and opened the door groggily.
She sat there in shock, Roku was standing there with a woman and her baby in a princess carry. Before she could ask he interrupted, "I'll explain on the way we need to leave NOW!!"
Pakura grew serious and gathered all her stuff before running out of the inn with him.
As they were rushing out Pakura glanced at the women asleep in Roku's arms. "Who is this?"
Roku smiled and thought back.
FLASHBACK
As Pakura and Roku separated, Roku headed toward the grass village. He wanted to investigate without Pakura, he knew that it would be easier if he didn't need to explain everything.
As he arrived at the village and snuck in he looked around and headed toward the hospital. He needed to investigate and wait for Karin's Mom. As he arrived at the hospital he began to wait at the entrance.
After a few hours he noticed a woman leaving the Hospital. His eyes widened, he never imagined that he would find her on the first day.
She began to walk towards her house, Roku followed her. As she arrived at the house she stood at the door and looked back at Roku. "Ninja-sama, is there something you need? I will do anything you need"
Roku walked out, he was surprised that she could notice him. Even most elite jonin couldn't notice his tracking, Kagura's Mind Eye really is something. "It's okay, I just want to talk. Can I come in?"
The woman hesitated but was too afraid to disobey. She opened the door and invited him in, as Roku looked around the house he frowned. The house was disgusting, it was run down and full of dirt.
He turned back towards her and smiled, "Hello Ms Uzumaki my name is Uchiha Roku, i have come from Konoha for you"
The woman's eyes widened and she began to shiver in fear, "Please don't hurt me, What do you need"
Roku smiled to try and comfort her, "It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you. You see my friend is a Uzumaki too, her name is Uzumaki Kushina. Do you know her?"
At the name Kushina the woman calmed slightly and looked at him. Roku then continued, "Come on and sit down"
Roku smiled at her as she slowly took a seat and looked at him in fear, "Don' t worry if I wanted to hurt you I wouldn't have been so nice."
Roku looked at the shiver women and turned quiet, "Look at me"
Her eyes shot up in fear and she began to shiver when she saw the Sharigan. Roku sighed and before she could beg for mercy he interrupted her. "This is proof that i am an Uchiha not some grass ninja testing you"
She nodded like a scared rabbit causing him to sigh, "It okay i just want to talk about you and your daughter"
Reminding her of her daughter probably wasn't the best idea, she rushed out of the chair and began to kneel on the ground. "Please, don't hurt her. If you need a Uzumaki please just use me"
Looking at the shivering woman Roku's eyes turned dark, the fiery nature of the uzumaki was known all through the ninja world. For an Uzumaki to be broken to this point-. He couldn't even imagine what she had gone through.
Roku sat down next to her shivering body and held her head up to eye level. "I am here to take you to Konoha. That way your daughter will live a better life than you did."
The words were comforting to her but she still was worried. "It's okay, as long as I'm here they won't touch her"
Roku sighed, "You and I both know you are being killed everyday you stay here. Before long you will die from Chakra Overdraw, and then they'll do the same to your daughter"
The woman began to cry and whimper, "I KNOW! But if i don't then they'll, they'll"
Roku watched the woman stammer too afraid to even finish her sentence and his face grew grim. The difference between her and Kushina was way too far.
But he put on a kind smile to soothe her, "Why would I lie? I am strong enough to kidnap you if I wanted but I give you something to help your doubts."
He then pulled out a picture of him and Kushina. "See its proof that me and Kushina are friends, all you need is to trust me"
Her eyes stared at him, still red from crying . "But- if i get caught then they'll hurt Karin"
He smiled comforted her, "I am Uchiha Roku, I am a Kage level combatant their isn't a ninja in this village that could even make me sweat"
Her expression filled with a tiny bit of hope, he grasped and held on before she could second guess herself. "Okay here is the deal if i get caught, then just say i kidnapped you two"
She looked at him in surprise but he just smiled. "That way not matter what you won't get in trouble"
She nodded meekly and whispered quietly, "Okay"
He sighed in relief and then had her get her daughter and her personal items. After a while she came back with her daughter in her arms and a small bag in her other hand. He then walked over and picked her up in a princess carry
"Yelp!" she called out.
She blushed profusely and Roku smiled, "I told you my name what's yours?"
She whispered quietly like a mouse, "Sorry, Its Kaho Roku-sama"
Roku laughed, "Don't worry you guys are fine I'll protect you. Just take a nap."
