Chapter one:
I'm a student, no I have never been amazingly smart, I have never been that popular girl. I'm the quiet kid that would sit at the back of the class. I had two jobs to pay for the university and my livilhood and I was struggling. Though that doesn't matter anymore.
It was my 29th birthday today, I got time off work and luckily it was a weekend so I didn't have to go to the university. Unfortunately I didn't have a family so I spent most of my birthday alone watching marvel on Disney plus. I ordered food and treated myself.
I remember watching WandaVision as I slowly fell asleep. Making a wish to the One Above All. The God of the marvel universe to help me make my life more exciting. I felt darkness consume me as I allowed myself to let go.
I felt myself slipping deeper, the voices on the TV getting louder. I could no longer feel my body as I was in pure darkness and nothingness.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hello little one." Replied the One Above All.
"Where am I?" I said.
"You are in the between." Replied the One Above All.
"I figured something like that, but why?" I said.
"I brought you here to offer you a choice that most aren't offered. Return to your old life or you can be reborn as you wished." Replied the One Above All.
"Why me?" I said.
"Well you prayed to the One Above All, the God of the marvel universe I thought you deserved a chance to have a better life." Replied the One Above All.
"Where is the old life? Would I remember this? Would I still be human? What's the twist?" I said.
"You would be joining the MCU universe. Yes, you would remember. You wouldn't exactly be a normal human. You would have foreknowledge. Do you want to do this, if you do you will be unable to return to your old life?" Replied the One Above All.
I thought about it, my mom hated me. My dad was never there. I don't know my half siblings. Most of my family were never really there since my mom had me out of wedlock too. I love the Avengers. My life is boring and tiring and this is a once in a lifetime chance. I smiled and realized I had to go for it.
"This is a big decision. I should think more about it. Who am I kidding? Let's do this. So how do we do this?" I said.
"No more questions? No? Okay, it was nice meeting you. By now!" Replied the One Above All.
Before I could respond I felt darkness take me.
