I pushed myself up and walked toward the oversized mirror in the room. The reflection staring back at me made me pause.

For a moment, I froze, staring blankly at the ceiling. That wasn't a hallucination. That wasn't imagination. That was the unmistakable sound effect of plot convenience.
Gacha system unlocked.
My eye twitched.
"Tch… it seems I'm too closely tied to luck. Or someone out there has a very twisted sense of humour."
Shaking my head, I tried to focus.
If this really was a system, then I needed to understand how it worked. And the moment that thought formed, a wave of information flooded straight into my mind.
I blinked.
…Okay, that was convenient. And slightly terrifying.
Basically, I would receive one point every day, and every three points could be exchanged for a card.
And these cards weren't limited in any way they could be anything.
A character template like Rimuru or Superman. Skills from someone like Kazuma. Quirks from MHA. Weapons, items, consumables… literally anything.
I exhaled slowly.
"At least it's simple," I muttered. "Collect points. Draw cards. No stupid 'complete this mission or loose your dick' nonsense."
I don't like that type of systems since it makes options too limited. At least I don't have that problem.

Though, looking at the points, I feel bad that I don't have any option to exchange money for points like in those fanfictions I read.
I really want to test it, since I want to know if the cards I get are even useful or if they can be trash.
That's another one of the cons of GACHA, it depends on luck, and the cards I may get will be too random. With the numerous wastes in the Omniverse, getting something useful may not necessarily be easy.
Still, I can only hope for the best.
