There is a war going on in the battlefield. This war is going on between the Wen Kingdom's troops and the Yunmeng Kingdom's troops.
Wen Xu is leading the war. He wants to acquire the Yunmeng Kingdom. He has made a strong troop and entered into the war with full planning of defeating war General Yiling Patriarch and his co-warrior Xu Yang. But Xue Yang isn't there.

Yiling Patriarch is riding on a horse and he is killing his opponent fiercely. His face is covered with the mask. Yiling Patriarch's defense skills and killing skills are great. He doesn't show mercy on his opponents. When he feels that the opponent is top week and ready to admit defeat then he let him go otherwise he doesn't leave the trace of any enemy.
There's good quality of Yiling Patriarch that he supports his troops in battlefield. He never let them to lose hope and end the war with tide over.
Wen Xu and Yiling Patriarch come in front of each other. They both are in horses and holding swords in their hands. Those swords look thirty for the opponent's blood. Wen Xu and Yiling Patriarch commands their horses and the moves towards each other.
Yiling Patriarch jumps out of the horse and he unbalanced Wen Xu's horse due to which Wen Xu falls on ground. Yiling Patriarch smirks behind his mask. Now they both are ground.
Wen soldiers are trying to attack on Yiling Patriarch but Jiang soldiers are protecting Yiling Patriarch. Wen Xu and Yiling Patriarch are in a sphere. They bith runs towards each other and starts attacking.
Yiling Patriarch dodged all Wen Xu's moves and he attacks on his arm due to which Wen Xu's one arm falls on floor. He lost his arm.
Wen Xu cries while holding his bleeding shoulder. He lost one arm. Yiling Patriarch stands in front of Wen Xu and attacks on Wen Xu's neck with his suibian. Wen Xu's head got separated from his body and it falls away.
The war stops there. When soldiers knelt down. Wen Xu is killed. His arm and head are cut off from his body. Everyone starts praising Yiling Patriarch.
"Keep quiet!", Yiling Patriarch says.
Everyone gets quiet.
"Take his dead body to your king and don't forget to show his head and arm. If Wen Ruohan will keep his disgusting eyes on Yunmeng then then I will cut him like his son Wen Xu. Tell your so called king that if he wants to live a long life than stop attacking on Yunmeng. We will not kneel down.", Yiling Patriarch says in his dominant voice.
All the enemy troops start shivering. Yiling Patriarch and his troops leave the battlefield.

Yiling Patriarch and troop behind him are returning to the place Lotus Pier. Everyone are praising Yiling Patriarch and all the soldiers who have successfully defeated the Wen soldiers.
Yiling Patriarch has a proud smile on his face. He is still wearing mask. He doesn't show his face whenever he lives in the form of Yiling Patriarch.
The citizens feel greatful to have war general like Yiling Patriarch. Yiling Patriarch always supported the family of troops. If any soldier died and got injured in the battlefield then Yiling Patriarch himself gives them and their family members economic support and other job opportunities so the family don't suffer longer.

Today there's hustle and bustle in the palace because someone special is coming in Yunmeng for the first time.
Jiang Fengmian, Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng are so stressed sitting in the hall. Their faces are pale and their hands are wet. Even Jiang Fengmian himself is a bit afraid.
"Where's prince Jin Zixuan?", Madam Yu asks.
"Mother! He is near lotus pond with Jie Jie.", Jiang Cheng says.
"He is going to arrive here anytime. Why didn't he inform us a day before?", Jiang Cheng asks.
Jiang Fengmian takes a deep breath. He looks at Jiang Cheng.
"Tell Yanli to take Jin Zixuan to the market. Jin Zixuan shouldn't be here otherwise it can create trouble for us.", Jiang Fengmian says.
"Okay father.", Jiang Cheng replies.
Jiang Cheng comes out of the hall and he walks towards the lotus pond.
Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan are sitting together near lotus pond. They both love each other. They have attended many conference and assembly in which the king, prince and princes organize meetings. They have met each other earlier in such kind of meetings that's why they know each other. Feelings develop in their heart for each other and now they both are in love with each other from head to toe.
Jin Zixuan sometimes arrives Yunmeng to meet specially Jiang Yanli without letting anyone know. Only Jin family knows that Jin Zixuan loves Jiang Yanli. Other then them in Lanling no one knows about Jin Zixuan and Jiang Yanli's love affair. He always comes in simple dress to meet Jiang Yanli.
Jin family doesn't want to let anyone to know too soon because Jin Zixuan is still a prince. If he will tell directly to everyone that he loves Jiang Yanli than ministers in his palace can be danger for Jiang Yanli because they themselves want their daughter to marry Jin Zixuan. Jin Zixuan is so clever that's why he has kept the relationship secret.
The other reason Jin Zixuan has kept the relationship secret because his enemy kingdom can hurt and attack on Yunmeng after knowing that Jiang Yanli is soon to be wife of Jin Zixuan.
Jiang family understands this thing very well that's why they have also kept their daughter's relationship secret. They don't want to invite trouble before Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan's wedding. Jiang family wants peace with everyone because they know that war only creates destruction and loss of innocent lives.
Right now Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan are near lotus pond. Jin Zixuan's hand is on Jiang Yanli's hand. Jin Zixuan plucks a lotus flower and gives it to Jiang Yanli. Jiang Yanli takes the flower. There's blush and shyness on her face.

They both are silently sitting on the edge of lotus pond. There's chirruping sounds of birds. The cozy window is touching their body. There's peace on this silence but then Jiang Cheng appears there.
"Jie Jie!", Jiang Cheng says. He breathes heavily.
