Caspian merely stared at the two of them amused, this two were already giving him dog food with barely an hour of them being together. How was he supposed to survive this for the rest of his life, Caspian thought as he sighed…
After some time Serena could'nt help but get curious about how the vampire kingdom looked like? She turned to look at Eiravyn.
"Mr. Won…" she called, but Eiravyn stopped her mid-sentence,
"I want you to call me by my name, little kitten." Eiravyn said smiling placidly.
Serena did not expect this, she had not thought about calling him by his first name yet, she stared at him for a long time before eventually saying his name underneath her breath,
"Eiravyn," Serena muttered finally as she stared directly at Eiravyn's eyes.
Eiravyn sat frozen in his place when he heard her whisper his name, his gaze flew to her lips at once, never in his wildest dreams did he think hearing his name from anyone's mouth would turn him on so much. He was about to lean in for a kiss when he heard a loud cough sound coming from the driver's seat.
"Cough,Cough."
He quickly sat up as his icy eyes shifted to look straight at Caspian, his eyes shooting invincible daggers at his irritating right hand man. His mind was concocting various punishment to give to the man for always disrupting his time with his mate.
Unbeknownst to Serena of the plight he was going through. She still went on with her question, "Eiravyn, tell me More about your kingdom?" She asked him,
But before Eiravyn could answer her question, Caspian again interrupted their moments. "Your highness… the vampire kingdom is a very peaceful and quiet place to be, although, the humans think of us as the creations of the night, as monsters lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike them, that is a far cry from the truth, we only hunt those who hunt us," he paused for effect, before continuing,
"Ah, before I forget, in the vampire kingdom, we have different festivities for every season just like humans have different festive seasons as well. So, expect to see Moon Masquerade Banquet; this is when the vampires wear elaborate masks and dress in elegant soirée, dancing the night away under the crimson moon, also expect to participate in Midnight Hunts; although the name sound scary, but there is nothing to be scared of," Caspian said playfully before continuing,
"Then, your highness, the most anticipated event of all is the Harvest Festival; where we celebrate the changing of the seasons with feasts, games and so on…" after a long description Caspian eventually kept silent as he felt like he was the intruder.
Eiravyn had a look of worry as Caspian went on with his tales, worried that he might reveal things that will make her scared and uncomfortable to continue the journey but when he looked at his mate, she seems to be very excited to listen to the tales as her eyes was shining with a look full of wonder, Eiravyn could only sigh. But said nothing.
After a while Serena finally fell asleep, her head softly bumped into the car window, it seems that she had fallen into a deep sleep as she suddenly yelped, "ouch…" Serena groaned and rubbed her head lightly.
Eiravyn had previously told her to lean on his shoulders, but she had refused and wanted to talk. instead she now didn't even know when she fell asleep.
Eiravyn put his arm's around Serena's shoulder and pulled her lightly so as to not wake her up and made her lean her head on his broad shoulder.
Serena moaned softly in her sleep as she pushed herself closer to what feels like a comfortable pillow and eventually drifted off to a deep sleep. She was dreaming of sleeping with a soft teddy bear, she smiled in her sleep as she hugged the teddy firmly.
With the sligh vibrations of the car, and Eiravyn's warmth paired with his strong masculine scent, Serena fell into a deep sleep.
When he felt that Serena had drifted off to a deep sleep and her breathing was stable, he cradled her in his arms gently to make sure she was comfortable.
Before he turned to address Caspian seriously through the mind link, "we would make a stop at the witch kingdom to rest for today, so be aware." Eiravyn instructed his right hand man.
Caspian released a low groan, going to the witch realm was close to subjecting himself to torture, he thought before he let out a frustrated groan.
The journey to the vampire kingdom is a very long and tedious journey and will take more than three weeks if they were to go on the pace they were currently going. The journey would be cut short if they were to travel from the witch kingdom, Eiravyn thought as his gaze flew to Serena, she was still sleeping soundly even though hours had passed.
Eiravyn could easily teleport them to the vampire kingdom directly, but doing something such as that could drain Serena's energy and might even render her unconscious which he was not willing to risk.
After about hours in the journey to the witch coven, the car finally stopped and parked in front of a thick forest.
Eiravyn looked at his mate she was still sleeping soundly on his shoulders, Caspian was about to tell him that they've reached their destination when Eiravyn signaled him to stay put and not make a sound.
Caspian was puzzled as he watch his king looking at his mate with so much admiration in his eyes, he could not believe all the things that was happening today. But he still kept quiet and sat frozen in his seat.
After hours of watching Serena sleep, the girl finally turned in her sleep, as she pushed herself in the comfortable teddy bear she was holding, when she turned and finally sat up, it was then she realized that the thing she thought was a teddy was in fact Eiravyn, she quickly sat up as the memories of where she was and where she was headed flooded in her mind.
She turned to Eiravyn, "I've we arrived?" Serena asked as she noticed the car was no longer moving.
Eiravyn looked at her as she rubbed at her eyes sleepily, she was adorable, he thought, "kitten, the journey just got started, now we have to walk to a distance before we get there, just to keep you from wondering why we have not reached there yet," Eiravyn paused, he took hold of her hands and stopped her from rubbing at her eyes,
"The journey will take us a few weeks to get to the vampire kingdom, if we are going on a human pace. So, we would first make a stop at the witch kindom so you can rest properly. Is that fine by you, little kitten?" He asked her attentively.
Serena could only nod her head.
"This is a little warning for you my sweet girl, the dressing and manners of a witch is very different to what you are use to as a human. So, I hope you understand."
Serena quickly nodded her head, her eyes glowing with curiosity, she was eager to find out if everything she read in the books about witches were true.
