She turned to look at Eiravyn's face, wondering if he too was as shocked as she was, or atleast a little bothered by their dressing but she was even further surprised to see that Eiravyn looked unaffected and just stood there.
He was not even looking at the ladies but his attention was fixed on Serena.
Since Eiravyn was not affected and looked like he did not mind it at all,
Serena felt like she should calm herself down, but when her gaze drifted back to one young lady that had stopped to dance with the children singing around the water fountain,
She was again flustered, the tips of her ears had turned red, her cheeks was bright red when she saw the young lady's breast bouncing and jingling in every direction.
Serena could not believe her eyes, she found the level of comfort they felt in their skin truly commendable.
She could not help but shift her gaze from them and turned to face Eiravyn, isn't it shameful to look at others when they are this expose? Serena thought to herself.
From where she came from a lady who dressed with parts of their skin on display where called so many type of indecent names.
This made Serena very uncomfortable watching them, 'this is very unladylike, I wish I can just run away from this place.' Serena said to herself.
Making Eiravyn smirk, unbeknownst to her Eiravyn could listen to her every thoughts, so he was able to read everything she was thinking, when he suddenly heard her say in her head,
'If I am this affected by their manner of dressing, how will the men react to this, Eiravyn instantly felt her gaze on him but she did not say a thing, she just continued staring at him.
He could not stand the suspense anymore so, he asked her instead,
"Is there something you want to say to me?"
"Hmmm?" Eiravyn asked as he looked at her amusedly.
The moment their eyes met, Serena felt her soul almost leave her body, his green eyes looked almost drunk, as she could see the hunger raging in them. As if he wished to capture her within them and keep her there forever.
She felt her skin erupt with goosebumps, making her feel weak and hotter under his gaze, Serena struggled to ask,
"I have not seen any male, since we came into this kingdom, is the kingdom solely for women?" Serena finally asked hoping to hear yes, she had seen little boys but she still had her doubts as she waited for Eiravyn to respond to her question, Serena tried to keep her eyes from wandering to the exposed ladies.
"No kitten, this kingdom comprise of both women and men." Eiravyn answered the question vaguely leaving Serena more confused.
"But there is no single man in sight except from the little boys, how come about that?"
Eiravyn hummed as he let out a slow and lazy smile that reach his eyes from his mate eagerness to everything around here.
"Why don't we take a little walk inside while I fill you in on a little story?" Eiravyn asked, but he did not wait to hear her reply when he started leading Serena inside the village.
"Long ago in the realm of witches and wizards, both male and females were allowed to stay and live together, as the yin and Yang exist to only make them grow stronger. This made them stay together,"
"In order to get more close to nature because that was where they get their powers from, the ancestors of the witch kingdom came up with the idea of wearing minimal clothes…" Eiravyn paused as he watched his mate reaction to this news.
Serena on the other hand notice that as they walk further, the children and women that were dancing stopped what they were doing to bow deep at Eiravyn like he was their king, and they only stood up straight when he walked pass them, even when he did not even spare them a glance, it was almost as if they were familiar with him and had huge respect for him,
Serena decide to store this information at the back of her mind and decide to ask Eiravyn later when he was done with his story.
"So, after a few years of establishing this law, many young maidens lost their virginity amongst the female witches, as it was recorded that the men were not able to keep their hands to themselves even when they had basically grown up together with this maidens… it is said that a witch needs to keep her virginity until she complete 18years of age to have better assess of their real powers. if you want to calculate in the human term of age you can call it until she completes 30 years. That is to say that the witch were like immortals although their lifespan was almost close to humans compare to other supernatural beings." Eiravyn said,
"Now let's get back to the story, when the ancestors saw that some of the maidens were getting touched and were no longer virgins, another rule was established. This time another village was created for the men and there is a barrier to keep the men from coming to the women village and also to keep the women from going to the men village, only mated witch and wizard had the privilege to stay together in their own appointed hut." Eiravyn finally finished his story.
But Serena was still very confused, if it is true, then how will they identify their mate, when there is a barrier separating them.
Eiravyn quickly added, "only the queen can remove the barrier and enforce it back. And every season witches and wizards that had come of age were allowed to mingle together to identify their mate… do you have any other question, my sweet girl?" Eiravyn asked but Serena quickly shake her head.
By the time Eiravyn was done with his story, Serena saw a tall beautiful woman with dark hair approaching them.
The woman appeared to be in her late thirties, but Serena was sure she was older than that from the sharpness in her blue eyes hinting at wisdom that could only be possess from centuries of living on this earth, her body was slender and looked delicate, just like the women she saw dancing round the water fountain earlier. The woman was making her way to where they were, from the grace and aura she carried Serena could already guess she was not an ordinary figure.
There was a young lady at her right side and at her left side Serena saw Caspian, it seems he had gone earlier to alert them that they were coming.
Serena exhaled in relief when she saw the woman was wearing a white long tunic that reach her toes.
The woman got to where they were and smiled boldly at Eiravyn. "We are so happy to have you here, King Eiravyn." She said in a sing song voice.
Eiravyn merely hummed and nod his head at her, before he opened his mouth to address her. "Happy to see you too Queen Eleanora." Eiravyn's voice was plain and detached.
Before he turned to introduce Serena to the woman, "this is my mate, I believe my right hand man told you the reason for this unexpected visit?"
"Oh yes, he did," the woman said as she introduced herself to Serena, "I am Eleanora, the queen of the Silvertia Flame Coven, you are welcome." The woman welcomed Serena warmly leaving her in total shock.
'Was a witch not expected to be wicked and cunning and have scales all over their body,' Serena was receiving shock from all angles since she stepped into this world of fairy tale. She quickly responded to the lady,
"Nice to meet you, I'm Serena," she said before adding "Serena Kang."
Queen Eleanora's sharp blue eyes darted to address Eiravyn again, "your right hand man told me you want to rest here, will you like to stay in the room you always use when you come here for visit?" She asked respectfully.
"No, I will use the guest room this time, my mate and I will stay together." Eiravyn stated.
Serena notice that Eiravyn looked sharp and back to the way he was at the beginning when she first met him since this woman came here.
'Do they have bad blood?' Serena muttered to herself as she thought it was strange, and with the way the woman addressed him, it was like he used to live here.
She could not shake off the feeling, 'was he not supposed to be a vampire king. Why then would he live here?' She was confused when she heard Eiravyn's voice again,
"Take my mate to the room first, I want to see my grandmother now." Eiravyn said stiffly,
This made Serena turn stiff, as she looked at Eiravyn, his face was tense and looked upset.
'What was going on, earlier Eiravyn was doing just fine but all of a sudden, he was like this,' Serena felt concerned as she looked at him.
"You are welcome here once again Serena, my high priestess here will show you to your room." Queen Eleanora said smiling sweetly at Serena as she gestured to the young beautiful lady at her side.
It was then Serena gaze turn to assess the woman that came with Queen Eleanora, the woman too was also topless, unfortunately for Serena like the other women.
But she had on a nipple cover that was use to cover her nipples compare to the other ladies she saw coming here, that did not wear anything and left their breast bare...
