Synopsis
Derian Synkler never considered himself the protagonist of his own life. For over a decade, his existence was defined by his obsession with the web novel, Salvation Is For The Gods. While every other reader abandoned the story after the first 176 chapters, his belief in its core narrative and the regressor protagonist, Kim Min-hwan, never wavered. Min-hwan was a character perpetually trapped in a cycle of regression, his mind broken by countless rebirths. This cruel punishment ensured his loved ones could never retain their memories of him, or even know his true nature. But Derian knew that, after all those tragic cycles, Min-hwan was finally at the finishing line, poised to claim his wish at the wall of the world. But the novel's ending was not the victory Derian expected. Min-hwan was brutally betrayed by the very Constellations who had guided him, his spectacular failure witnessed only by Derian, the last remaining fan. In a fit of despair, Derian left a furious comment, his rage filling the empty comments section. ================================== No this is not a translation this is purely my own work and yes I might have been inspired by other author's however everyone is and please do give this book a chance.

Chapter 1 - Prologue To Salvation.

And Upon reaching the Wall Of The End, Kim Min-hwan, who just had to climb up it and their wish would be granted, burst into laughter, true joyous laughter, even though everyone he loved and cared for died along with most of the multiverse; he couldn't help himself.

How could he not? he was just a step away from claiming his wish and resetting the world to one without gods, monsters, demons, and so on. he activated the blessing of his supporting constellations as wings of pure white emerged from his back.

[The constellation: {Gods First Creation} Cheers you on as they grant you their glorious wings that no other angels could compare to.]

Kim Min-Hwan couldn't help but let out tears of pure joy as he thanked Gods first creation as he flew up at break neck speeds to reach the Pure Land, where not even any constellation has step foot in, and soon he reached the edge of the Wall Of The End.

Kim Min-hwan coughed up blood as thorns sprouted from his flesh along with a seemingly endless amount of worms as blurry beings of pure white light emerged from every worm, becoming more solid from Kim Min-hwan's blood.

As they all looked back at him with a smile and.

[The constellations Thank you for your hard work and hope you can rest peacefully after death once they reshape the world in their image.]

And so the 121,356,564,543rd life of Kim Min-hwan came to it's end.

-The End.

Looking at his screen, Derian Synkler could only have a blank face as he didn't know how to process anything that was going on in his room, alone to the point as to where he didn't even realize he has typed something in the comment section of Salvation Is For The Gods.

Derian Synkler could only have a blank face. He didn't know how to process anything that was going on. He didn't know when the tears started to stream down his face. He didn't notice the gentle sunrise painting the city in warm hues.

The train rattled gently on its tracks, a rhythmic hum in the early morning stillness.

5:43 AM Saturday, October 25, 2025 (GMT+9) Time in Seoul, South Korea

He was on the Seoul Metro, heading towards an unknown destination. The carriage was mostly empty, save for a handful of silent commuters. The fluorescent lights hummed above, illuminating a reflection of his hollow, despair-filled face on the window. He didn't see the glass, though. All he could do was think about the end of his favorite novel.

Soon though, his phone let out a notification as he slowly let his only exposed eye drip down his phones screen, and soon he saw it was a message from the author of Salvation Is For The Gods.

Of course, the moment he saw it was them, a twinged of hope crossed his heart as he opened up the author's message to him.

[Derian nim, I know the ending of my novel didn't satisfy you, so I want to ask you something: would you be opposed to helping out Kim Min-hwan on their 121,356,564,544th turn?]

Seeing this message, Derian couldn't help but type.

[No, I wouldn't mind, and I would even love to hel-]

[Good]

Before he could even finish typing, Derian blacked out shortly before waking up in a suit and tie with a blank expression on his face as a notification resounded in his ears.

[Ding, congratulations on obtaining the skill Die Chronosynklastische Gabe EX.]

Upon hearing that, all he could think was, 'Shit, i'm in Salvation Is For The Gods, aren't I!?'

Kim Min-hwan slowly opened his eyes, hearing the familiar message that infinite regression commenced, and as he did so, he let out a bitter chuckle as he then heard another notification.

[Ding, the skill Infinite Regression EX has activated the skill Unbroken Mind A +++]

[Ding, the skill Infinite Regression EX has activated the skill calm mind ???]

[Ding, the skill infinite-]

In a short time, over a thousand different skills related to calming the mind and keeping him sane were activated, but ''I'm done, I give up.....'' That didn't stop Kim Min-hwan from falling into thoughts about giving up for the first time since the 10th cycle.

As now not even constellations can be trusted, meaning there is no way to get his wish and stop the ''hunger'' of the Other Gods from consuming everything, though thanks to his regressions, they couldn't devour him as his soul was steeped with nothing but suffering and pain.

Leading them to eventually think, 'Hmm, if I remember correctly, everyone on this train dies, and I never once bothered to save them because no one would listen anyway do to the misleading message from the ''tower''.

Alright, now where is he... ahh, their he is, those gold highlights in his hair and dark purple eyes as well as pale skin are hard to miss.'

After a while of just freaking out, Derian finally calmed down as he decided to open up his status window.

Name: Derian Synkler | ???

Age: 26

Supporting Constellation: ???

Attribute: Unknown To The All In One (Impossible)

Personal Skills: [Super Reading lv. 6] [Reading comprehension lv. 7]

Stigma: ???

Overall Stats: [Stamina lv. 9] [Strength lv. 8] [Agility lv. 8] [Mana lv. 1]

General Evaluation: A somewhat healthy man; if he had studied more, he could have gotten into a top university.

Looking at my stats, I couldn't help but feel thankful that, unlike my actual body, this one seemed to have trained for a while as the cap of normal humans is 10, though for some reason, after feeling such a way, Derian felt as if his thoughts were wrong but couldn't pin point what.

In the end, he decided to just give up and just relax until the ''fairy'' are sent down to earth in about 7 minutes since he just awakened; however, his plans would soon be foiled as a man who was nearly to slim to be a man but just manly enough in Korean standards approached him.

And sat right down next to him, saying in a surprisingly dull voice that didn't seem forced, ''I smelled nicotine from you, would you mind giving me a smoke?'' Hearing that, having already checked his backpack earlier, Derian reflexively started reaching for his bag; however, he stopped shortly before saying,

''Sorry, I just remembered smoking is illegal in Korean trains.'' However, he just got a few chuckles from some people around him in suits who had dead fish eyes right before the somewhat androgynous fellow spoke up once again.

''That's true; however, at this time the train conductor turns off the camera's and takes a smoke break, of course he turns it on later, but even if it was discovered, he is the son of a rich tycoon who is just being punished, so no officials will do anything.''

Hearing this, Derian went along with what the guy said as he reached into his bag and through the pack at them as he didn't really care for smoking and instead would rather die of drinking to much soda then anything.

At his actions, the man smiled at him before slowly opening the box and taking out a cigarette stuffing it in his mouth, although he didn't start smoking yet and instead said, ''You know, for your small act, i'll help you as you seem knew to Korea; I mean, you didn't even notice everyone secretly smoking or drinking.''

With a soft chuckle, Derian just scratched the back of his head then said, ''Thanks for that, but uhh, might I know your name before that?'' And as if expecting this question, the man responded by saying, ''Kim Min-hwan is my name, nice to meet you.''
