With laughably meager income, backbreaking work and overbearing taxes, his dream of leaving the godforsaken planet had never felt more out of reach. Then, during a mental breakdown on a scavenging run, he wished for only one thing—to die. The heavens seemed to answer what wasn't an entirely serious plea. A sudden storm formed, and lightning struck him down. But he didn’t die. Instead, he woke up to find his implant damaged and malfunctioning. Yet as he began to notice what the glitches could do, Acre wasn’t sure he wanted it fixed. A pickaxe that could disintegrate anything. An unlimited inventory with a duplication glitch.
