Synopsis
Klaus is a black cat. Being an only child, he spent most of his time alone. Of course, his parents doted on and loved him, but due to work, they were frequently away from home, leaving Klaus alone with his thoughts. Nonetheless, as time flew by, he grew accustomed to it—the simple silence of his home and its warmth. But everything changed when he met her—Elaine. The two met on a dating app during their Junior year of high school during a nationwide pandemic. She was everything he wanted in a girl. Loving, funny, and caring, it was almost as if she were perfectly curated for him. Yet there she was, sitting in a black Jeep parked in the airport terminal, getting fingered by another man. Unable to stand it any longer, Klaus grabbed his things and walked away. Thankfully, it seemed fate wasn't done with him yet. Ending up in the hospital with a beautiful woman, things began to change for the better. ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ Additional Tags: No Yuri, No Ntr, Netori

Chapter 1 - A Fresh Start

Ding

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking."

"We have begun our initial descent into Belleview Bay. The weather upon arrival is cloudy with a temperature of 72°."

"The flight attendants will be coming around shortly to prepare the cabin for our arrival. Please ensure your seatbelts are fastened and your tray tables and seatbacks are in their full upright and locked position."

"Thank you."

As if on cue, the door at the front of the cabin opened, unveiling three beautiful flight attendants. The first two made their way down the aisles, both on either side of the center seats, ensuring everyone heard and complied with the captain's disclaimer.

At the front of the cabin, the third attendant scanned through the seats, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be before they landed.

While she scanned through the rows, her deep blue eyes often made eye contact with passengers. Instead of becoming shy or nervous, she offered them a small smile before turning her attention to the next seat.

She continued to scan the area with no problem, but when her eyes landed on two empty seats near the middle back row, her brows furrowed.

An earlier incident involving both passengers fooling around in their seats put them on her radar. It wasn't often, but when passengers like that boarded the plane, they tended to be in trouble.

Her eyes subtly shifted to the third seat on the right, gazing at the passenger unfortunate enough to get front row seats to their earlier shenanigans. Thankfully, she was able to arrive in time; otherwise, she feared he would leave a bad complaint about the scrutiny of their airline.

But now his green eyes returned to their prior calm, staying low as he was absorbed in his book while paying no attention to the world around him. It was his uncomfortable and annoyed look earlier that drew the flight attendant's attention to the couple seated next to him. But looking at him now, it was like they were two separate people.

The muffled sounds of heels clacked along the low carpet as the flight attendant made her way towards the back. Passing her co-worker, she gave a quick nod before continuing towards the back, silently arriving next to the man.

Sensing the flight attendant's presence over him, the man slowly popped out one of his earbuds, spilling out low melodies of what appeared to be indie rock. The wired bud fell over his shirt as he placed a bookmark in his book and closed it. It was a Stephen King book titled, 'YOU LIKE IT DARKER,' the dust jacket was lightly bruised in the corners, but overall looked brand new.

A pair of dark green eyes met a pair of brown eyes as he looked up at the flight attendant with confusion. The look made her smile softly before she asked.

"Mr. Silas, was it?" He gave her a slight nod, permitting her to continue. "I apologize for bothering you again after the," she cleared her throat lightly, "earlier incident."

Heat crept up through his neck as he remembered the couple from earlier; thankfully, his dark skin complexion hid it well as he gazed into her eyes, acknowledging her.

"It's alright, and you can call me Klaus," he said, his voice deep and calm, but slightly flustered. "And it's not like you told them to. They're just an odd couple."

She nodded, letting out a small chuckle, "Very."

Her eyes then flickered over to the empty seats next to him before landing back on him. "Speaking of which, you wouldn't happen to know where they went? They're clearly not in their seats, and we are to be landing soon."

Prepared for the question, Klaus shook his head with genuine unknowingness. "I honestly couldn't tell you; I do remember them going towards the back, a little while ago, though." He said, completely unaware of the trouble this would later cause him.

A flash of realization dawned on the flight attendant as her face bled a bright red. She took a deep breath before turning towards the back.

Klaus noticed the shift in her attitude and gazed at her backside. 'What's with the change of mood?' he thought.

Unbeknownst to him, two new members of the Mile High Club were having an initiation in the lavatory, and because of him, they were now going to be denied access.

With swift but steady steps, the flight attendant made her way towards the lavatory. The sounds of her heels became more appointed as her annoyance reached a peak.

"I knew we should've kept an extra eye on them," she muttered. "This is what happens when you are lenient."

When she arrived in front of the lavatory, the room was occupied, slightly arousing her suspicions. Still, when she heard the two familiar voices—specifically a man and a woman—talking in low whispers, it confirmed them.

A loud knock on the door caused the couple inside to freeze. They were initially shocked, but as realization began to set in, fear took over. The moment they were both seen in the lavatory, having sex or not, they would be fined hundreds of dollars each and possibly banned from the airline.

Another knock on the door, this time louder and accompanied by a voice, awakened them from their stupor. "Please return to your seats. The airplane will be descending soon, and everyone is to be seated and in their seatbelts."

Muffled arguments came from inside, but the attendant couldn't hear them.

Just as she was going to knock again, a deep and rough voice came from the other side. "Just give me a moment; I think I ate something bad."

She raised her arm slowly and glanced at the small watch on her wrist. "You have three minutes," she uttered. "You were given prior notice of this."

A sigh of relief escaped the man's mouth, but confusion replaced it when he didn't hear the sound of footsteps fading. "You don't have to wait for me, you know," he grumbled, loud enough for the flight attendant to catch it.

"It's fine, I have time," she responded, her voice sharper than she intended it to be. Passengers like them were one of the main reasons for her disdain for her job. 'Like, if you really want to join the Mile High Club, go on a hot air balloon or something. Don't come and make my job harder than it should be.'

Panic echoed through the lavatory as another voice began complaining. This time, her voice was heard clearly as she began bashing her partner.

"I told you, you fucking dumbass! Why do you always have to think with your dick all the time?!" She yelled. "Club this. Club that. MAN FUCK THE CLUB!"

"OH!? SO NOW IT'S MY FAULT?! IF YOU WEREN'T SO SCARED TO GET ON A HOT AIR BALLOON WE WOULDN'T BE HERE!" He yelled with equal aggression.

"Oh, so he did think about it," she muttered.

The two continued to bicker, drawing attention from the surrounding passengers in the back row, including Klaus.

'I wonder what that's about,' he pondered. The thought didn't last before he popped his earbud back in, diving back into his book.

After a heated argument, the door to the lavatory opened with ample force, revealing an angry but extremely hot blonde. Her face shone a bright shade of red, partly from embarrassment but mostly from frustration.

She wore a pair of black shades that sat snugly on her button nose. Her nipples were clearly visible through her tight pink crop top, a tell-tale sign of no bra and sultry activity. Her short-fitting denim jeans, which gave her a wedgie with every step, also left little to the imagination. But she couldn't care less about the riding of her shorts as her gaze focused on the flight attendant in front of her.

They gazed at each other for only a moment before she stormed off back into her seat. The man came out afterward, a big guy with a black shirt that stretched over his ever-growing beer belly, wearing black sweats to match. He wasn't overly huge as to need two seats, but he definitely arrived at the 'chubby' stage a while ago.

His eyes lay upon the flight attendant. There was a subtle glint of hunger and lust in his eye, but it was consumed quickly by his annoyance.

"Who told you we were in there?" he questioned. "I bet it was that book nerd out there," he muttered, anger flaring in his eyes. It was almost as if that was the only option —not because they were doing a routine check on the passengers, but because there was a snitch. But that thought didn't seem to cross his mind as he glared at her.

"He didn't need to say anything, and I still would've found your two seats empty," she deadpanned. "It's not rocket science."

"It'S nOt RoCkEt ScIeNcE," he mocked under his breath.

The attendant sighed before gesturing back to the seats. "Please return to your seat. We will finish this conversation with the captain after we've landed."

The chubby man looked around and noticed the eyes on him before sighing in defeat. Upon arriving at his seat, his eyes flickered toward Klaus, anger visible in his eyes. 'You better not let me catch you off this plane, pipsqueak.'

A voice cut through the silence as the blonde girl grabbed his arm, pulling him down into the seat. "Sit down already," she muttered. "Don't make this worse than it needs to be, you horndog."

He grumbled something under his breath, but she didn't seem to care as she tried to bury herself in the seat, his big physique being big enough to cover one side of her.

Klaus noticed the shifting but chose to ignore it as he flipped a page.
