In a world cluttered with monotonous, malicious mazes, a unique underground city of an entirely different artistic style has emerged. Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Adventurers and the Underground City

In a dilapidated Underground City, with earth walls stretching about 500 meters in both length and width, stood a simple Lord's Mansion and a plain hall.

"My territory is finally opening for business!" exclaimed Jack, his voice echoing in the hall.

Jack, once a recent college graduate caught in the rat race, had mysteriously found himself in the game world of "Dungeon Lord." After years of struggle, he had finally become a Lord, acquiring his own Underground City.

This world is unique.

It features two professions: "Adventurer" and "Lord."

**Adventurers** are a group of undead living on the surface, tirelessly seeking various Underground Cities. They are eternally curious, thrill-seeking individuals who challenge the secret realms in pursuit of treasure, prestige, or pure pleasure.

**Lords** are the architects of these Underground Cities. Using spiritual power, they create secret realms to lure Adventurers. When Adventurers perish in these realms, they produce soul crystals, the core resource for building Underground Cities.

The relationship between these two roles is intricate, filled with strategic interplay.

In "Dungeon Lord," the main gameplay involves playing as a "Lord" and engaging in a battle of wits with "Adventurers." This game combines elements of strategy, management, sandbox, and Roguelike, making it highly addictive.

Jack had come to terms with his transmigration long ago.

He was determined to become the greatest Dungeon Lord!

His bold aspiration was fueled not only by his deep understanding of this world but also by the discovery that his awakened Sea of Inspiration had fused with various popular games, anime, and films from his previous life.

From this, he could draw unique and abundant materials.

This was undoubtedly the strongest Lord talent!

Adventurers are akin to the player base from his previous life. While they might have utilitarian motives for challenging secret realms, they are also drawn to intriguing realms. Even without substantial material rewards, if a realm is fun, they will flock to it, never tiring of the experience!

Creating a secret realm is similar to creating a game.

The standard of this world is shockingly poor!

99% of secret realms are essentially mazes, differing only in theme, elements, and structure.

Why is this the case?

Creating a secret realm is not easy!

First, one must awaken the Sea of Inspiration and condense the Crystallization of Inspiration.

The "Crystallization of Inspiration" is a material pack for creating secret realms, containing elements such as monsters, scenes, and items.

The amount of materials Lords can access is generally limited and monotonous. Only a select few exceptionally gifted Lords can awaken unique and special materials. However, due to their limited quantity, creating rich game content is challenging.

Jack is different.

His Sea of Inspiration is unparalleled.

His resources are tens of thousands of times richer than those of ordinary Lords!

He can perfectly replicate and materialize the most classic and entertaining games from his previous life, while also fusing and innovating with elements from different games to create more creative, daring, and localized content!

He is confident in bringing the most captivating and enjoyable secret realms to this world!

This will be a game-changing strike against Adventurers and other Lords!

Jack activated the core of the Underground City, and a control panel appeared before him with two options: **Information Management** and **Territory Management**. He first checked his personal information.

----

**Name**: Jack

**Rank**: First Tier

**Spiritual Power**: 5/1000

**Soul Crystals**: 0

**Crystallization of Inspiration**: Left 4 Dead

**Current Secret Realm**: None

**Territory Capacity**: 0/100

----

Jack had spent nearly two decades accumulating spiritual power to awaken the first Crystallization of Inspiration from his Sea of Inspiration.

It was the Doomsday Zombie-themed game "Left 4 Dead," which had once been a nationwide favorite in his previous life!

Back then, it was the go-to game for countless college students who played all night in dorms and internet cafes!

When the crystal was activated, the materials appeared.

--

**Monster Materials**: Common Zombie, Exploder Zombie, Hunter Zombie, Charger Zombie... Tank Zombie, Witch Zombie!

**Venue Materials**: Urban Street Material Pack, Forest River Valley Material Pack... Park, Station, Subway, Airport, Port!

**Item Materials**: Cold Weapon Material Pack, Hot Weapon Material Pack...

**Character Materials**:...

--

This Crystallization of Inspiration included all the content from the "Left 4 Dead" series 1 and 2.

It could perfectly replicate the entire game 1:1.

In this world, the Zombie-themed shooting game, with its unique worldview and monster elements, is unprecedented and will greatly captivate Adventurers, stimulating their desire for exploration!

Every Adventurer who experiences it will believe it to be the work of a genius's inspiration and creation!

However, Jack will not replicate the original work 100%.

When a Dungeon Lord creates a secret realm, placing monster materials, setting up scenes and venues, and creating special items all consume spiritual power.

The current monster material consumption is as follows:

--

**Common Zombie**: Consumption 0.

**Hunter**: Consumption 3.

**Exploder**: Consumption 3.

**Charger**: Consumption 5.

**...**

**Tank**: Consumption 20.

**Witch**: Consumption 20.

Secret realm materials can only be used to create secret realms.

Jack only has a mere 5 points of spiritual power left, so he cannot create too many special Zombies for the time being. However, it's not a significant issue since secret realms can be continuously improved, adjusted, and have content added.

First, he built a basic framework.

The scene for this secret realm will be "Urban Street," covering an area of about one hundred square kilometers, equivalent to a small to medium-sized city, which conveniently consumes 5 points of spiritual power.

The placement of Common Zombies requires no spiritual power and has no quantity limit.

Jack filled the scene and every nook and cranny with hundreds of thousands of them.

Some of these Zombies patrol fixed areas, while others randomly refresh based on time.

Jack added an infection threat to the settings. Even a minor bite or scratch from a Zombie will cause continuous damage, increasing the game's difficulty and realism.

To conserve resources, he initially adopted a single-player survival mode.

Anyone familiar with this game knows that it often requires teammates for rescue, and the single-player difficulty is notably high, especially in realistic mode.

When Adventurers enter the game, they possess only ordinary human physiques, making the survival challenge daunting. Jack doesn't worry about not harvesting players!

Furthermore, as a designer, one must infuse their own creativity. The material library provided by "Left 4 Dead" offers enormous developmental potential. In the future, he can develop story mode, team mode, versus mode, battle royale mode, etc., all centered around shooting and Biochemical gameplay.

Why would a Dungeon Lord painstakingly create a secret realm for Adventurers to play in?

Is it because they love Adventurers?

Of course not!

The sole purpose of any Dungeon Lord creating a secret realm is to harvest players, and the art lies in how to sustainably drain the pond to catch all the fish.

The game cannot be too simple!

These cunning Adventurers will get bored and stop coming!

Unless enticing rewards for clearing the level are set, but generating rewards consumes the Lord, and many Underground Cities have gone bankrupt because of this.

The game cannot be too difficult or too tedious!

Adventurers are not fools either. A secret realm game that is maliciously difficult with no hope of clearing, clearly designed for harvesting, may trick Adventurers once, but the reputation of the Underground City will be ruined, making it not worth the loss.

The design of this secret realm is both cunning and extremely challenging.

But with its unique worldview, distinct monsters, and fresh gameplay, there's no concern about attracting Adventurers to become wave after wave of enthusiastic players, eager to be harvested!

After three days of hard work, it was finally completed!

Although the secret realm is based on "Left 4 Dead," it can already be considered a remade original game.

Considering the future development of team, story, CS, survival, battle royale, and other new gameplay modes, it is naturally unsuitable to retain the original name. Therefore, this secret realm is named "Doomsday Frenzy"!

The first secret realm game has been successfully created!

"Hehehe, everything is ready!" Jack rubbed his hands together in anticipation. "Let me bring a little shock of the Zombie Raging Tide to the unsuspecting Adventurers!"
