Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The First Appearance of Dust Escape

This is the first time the author has written a book on Tomato. This book came about because he had not seen any Dust Release novels in the Land of Earth, so he decided to write one himself. If possible, he could leave his own mark. Anything is fine, and it will be stored here forever.

You can give us your feedback at any time. I have revised this book many times and added a lot of content. I will accept your feedback as long as it does not affect the outline.

The author has tried to write a female protagonist in other books but the performance was too poor. For the sake of the success of this book, there is no female protagonist in this book.

Land of Earth, Outskirts of Iwagakure Village

The morning mist was like a veil, covering the winding valley.

Four-year-old Chi Yanchen lay on the rock by the stream, which the villagers called "Crying Rock". His long silver-gray hair was wet with morning dew and stuck to his slightly reddish ears.

The tip of his nose almost touched the pebbles that shone with a cold metallic light. At the moment when the morning sun penetrated the mist, the spider-web-like blue lines on the stones suddenly came alive, pulsating slightly like blood vessels.

"As expected…"

Chen's fingertips precisely touched a node in a certain pattern, and a depth unbecoming of a child flashed in his blue-gray pupils. As a stranger transported to this ninja world, this body seemed to be naturally able to sense the pulse of the earth.

With a crisp "click", the Weeping Rock, which was said to be able to withstand C-level ninjutsu, broke into two halves. The cross-section was so smooth that it could reflect his young face.

As a time traveler, he was orphaned in this life, his parents having died in battle, and he survived on aid from his neighbors and pensions. His memories of his past life were hazy, but some of his traits remained—such as this ability to sense the earth.

Whenever his palms touched the earth, he could feel a vast pulsation, just as now, the pebbles in the stream trembled slightly under his fingertips, as if telling ancient secrets.

Chen knew that this was a gift from Mother Earth to the time traveler, and it was also the capital for his future survival, the ability to catch up with those freaks and survive in this world.

"Chen! You're messing with those weird rocks again!" A childish cry tore through the silence. Chen didn't need to turn around to know it was the little follower from Aunt Chunjing's house next door who always loved to stick to him.

Sure enough, the five-year-old Fei Liu was wading recklessly, the mini shuriken made from discarded kunai on his waist jingling, and the splashes kicked up by the little boots made of animal skins scared away the blue-winged finches that were drinking water.

"Why are you up so early today?" Chen slowly stood up, leaving two small, glowing blue handprints on the Weeping Rock. "You stayed up late again?"

"No way!" Fei Liu's face flushed red as she suddenly pulled out a rice ball wrapped in oil paper from her bosom. Her clumsy wrapping caused the seaweed to fall apart, and a few grains of rice slipped through her fingers, falling into the stream and being immediately snatched up by small fish. "Here, here's breakfast for you!"

Fei Liu was trying in a hurry to rewrap the scattered seaweed, but ended up deforming the whole rice ball.

Chen looked at the deformed rice ball, and his throat suddenly tightened. He knew that with Aunt Chunjing's family's tight finances, every rice ball had to be carefully calculated. The woman who always wore a faded apron must have secretly pinched an extra one from an angle where Feiliu couldn't see...

Fei Liu only has his mother at home. His father and his own parents died on the front line. Aunt Chunjing usually takes care of him. As for Fei Liu, he always stays up late to practice swordsmanship to avenge his father because he once told a story about a swordsman in the martial arts world.

"Thank you." Chen reached out to take it, and just as his fingertips touched the warm rice grains, his whole body suddenly shook violently.

Chen reached out to take the horrible rice ball, but just as his fingertips touched the warm rice grains, his whole body suddenly froze.

A piercing chill ran up his spine, making the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.

"Chen? What's wrong with you?" Fei Liu tilted her head in confusion, and waved her rice-stained hands in front of Chen's eyes, "Did you faint from hunger—"

Before he could finish his words, Chen suddenly tackled Fei Liu. They both fell heavily into the stream, and the cold water instantly soaked their clothes.

Almost at the same time, twelve shurikens whizzed past their heads and nailed into the rocks behind them with a "snatch, snatch, snatch" sound. The sharp edges glowed with a strange purple light in the morning light.

If Chi Chen hadn't reacted quickly, both he and Fei Liu would have died.

"Poisonous!" Chen's pupils suddenly shrank. This weapon, which is tempered with neurotoxin, can kill instantly with just one blow.

"Ah!" Fei Liu suddenly screamed. Chen turned his head and saw twelve black shadows jumping down from a hundred-meter-high cliff.

They were falling at an abnormally fast speed, clearly using chakra to accelerate their descent. The leader's scorpion-tailed mask was still dripping with blood, and the Sunagakure symbol on his forehead was smeared with fresh blood, leaving it looking hideous and terrifying.

Chen's gaze locked onto the man's right wrist—stuck in the gap of the metal armor was a bloody half-finger nail! The nail's edges were jagged, clearly ripped from a living person's finger. He was a ruthless character.

"Two little bastards..." The hoarse voice was like a blunt knife scraping bones. The ninja wearing a scorpion tail mask grabbed Feiliu's neck and lifted him out of the water.

Fei Liu's short legs kicked in vain in the air, and her animal-skin boots fell into the stream with a "plop". "Your blood is just the right thing to start this operation."

After saying that, he didn't wait for Chi Chen to react and directly took out the shuriken to stab Fei Liu.

"No!" Chi Chen became restless, although he always thought Fei Liu was a little brat.

But every time this guy stood in front of me and acted like an adult, secretly brought me food, tried hard to make me laugh, and with Aunt Chunjing's silent care and love, I had long regarded them as family.

How could they let them hurt their family in front of me?

Chen's vision suddenly took on a strange blue hue. He felt something awaken within him, like a volcano erupting after a thousand years of dormancy. The stream beneath his feet began to crystallize, tiny blue cubes emerging from the surface and spreading outward from him.

"Let him go."

Every word echoed like an earth-shaking sound.

"I said—" the child's voice suddenly took on an earth-shaking echo, "let him go."

The Sand Ninja's hideous smile froze on his face—he was horrified to discover that his kunai was weathering, with spider-web-like blue cracks appearing on the metal surface.

Then came his fingers and arms... The whole process was so fast that he didn't even have time to scream before his whole body had weathered away.

Seeing this, the other eleven Sand Ninjas immediately formed hand seals, but it was too late.

The blue light in Chen's eyes surged, and the rocks throughout the valley lit up with spiderwebs of light. Those blue lines crawled up the ninja's body like living creatures, weathering the flesh wherever they passed.

A ninja who tried to perform the instant body technique had just jumped into the air when his legs were crystallized and shattered; a ninja who was halfway through forming a seal found that his fingers had turned into blue crystals; a female ninja watched in horror as her long hair turned into scattered crystal sand, and the next second her entire head began to fall apart...

"Chen...Chen your eyes...!"

Fei Liu fell to the shallows, his face swollen with palm prints. He looked behind him in horror—his always taciturn playmate was now surrounded by swirling cubic light particles, and the surrounding hills had been weathered beyond recognition.

Chi Chen's vision was swallowed by a deep blue, and the voices in his ears gradually faded away, as if sinking into the deep sea. His last consciousness was Fei Liu's terrified face and his heartbreaking cry -
