All beings suffer in the prison that is the mortal world. Ever-fleeting, ever-transient. Lives are taken for the strong and noble, separating the wheat from the chaff. The worthy... from the worthless. And those of old times, those once worthy, made a steel-city, rotting yet undying, wanting to leave behind its misery. To die is to kill what distinguishes one self. And so the city sacrifices the weak for the strong, the slave for the noble, and the noble and strong and worthy are eaten so the city may live again. To be a god among men, is to lay on the altar. The father's mountain of sins and shadow loom over the son, crushing and shattering his bones. Whispers of ghosts seep into the bloodline, becoming both a heart's lamp and a demon's curse. Between light and shadow, one walks neither saint nor demon. The world is for the strong, and the strong is for the world to eat. ---- Art's not mine. Really proud of the synopsis.
