First, I think this novel belongs to the most complete story series among all the card lore in Yu-Gi-Oh!. The original plot alone is already compelling enough, leaving almost no room for fan reinterpretation (I mean in terms of the story itself). That's why in this book, I didn't describe it too much. I just treated it as a grand background and quickly moved on.
Anyways, since our protagonist is a transmigrator, it's impossible for the story to remain unchanged after their arrival. The biggest change is probably that Auram actually won the revival match!
And not just Auram—every major character in World Legacy that you can think of, I gave them a happy ending (except Lee). You could say this book is essentially an IF route that continues from a World Legacy "everyone survives" ending.
The main reason the ending changed was thanks to our protagonist. After all, with prior knowledge of the script, some of the events caused by Lee could be resolved in advance. But to replace Lee as the original final boss, this book adds even stronger enemies, which I'll explain later…
Also, since the World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy didn't collapse in this story, the following original plotlines will not appear here.
So for now, the protagonist's upper limit is Avramax. The "Avida, Rebuilder of Worlds" doesn't exist in this story—it's banned.
Meanwhile, old friends like Ningirsu and Ib most likely won't appear early on. But don't worry—by around Volume 3 or 4, the old friends will return.
This is mainly for balance reasons, since the enemies in the first two volumes aren't that strong…
